“If it's just a quick hour or so that you wish to kill, or a full day, then visit Mewsbrook Park & the Pedalo hire shack. Each hire session is 30 mins long & with the lake being quite large, that time goes very quickly. The chap that runs the pedalo hire is so polite friendly & helpful - not to mention chatty - you'll be hard pushed to drag yourself away after a half hour session. In terms of value, it's not bad either. It costs just £2.50 for a child & £3.50 for an adult. My family love coming to the park & the pedalo shack especially as there is a cafe (very good) & miniature railway in the park too. An easy 10/10 score.”

“Great experience/meal here. I would especially note how good the staff were. Very on it with everything and extremely friendly and professional. 10/10. One very tiny critisism is the nacho sharing platter is a bit smaller than it used to be but it was still enough for 2 people. Still it doesn't take away from the lovely experience. Prices are decent, good service. What more can you want. Thanks very much”

“Went here for a lunch break after having a trip down memory lane. Had a shandy and some chips and my server Kelly was awesome. When I told her I had lived in the area 50 years ago she say right down and asked me to tell her everything The chips were delicious with vinegar ( not typically served in US) and the shandy was perfect (no one knows how to make one in LA) The rhubarb apple crumble was soso and may not have been homemade. I will try the Sticky toffee pudding next time. The venue was cute and they had a great outdoor sitting area and the people were really nice. I would go again and again.”

“A lovely covered market with some wonderful local traders, cafes, grocers and unique stalls. There's always a lovely breeze floating through the market, which makes the browsing experience all the more pleasant. The regular Maker's Market and Vegan Market are definitely worth visiting, and you'll find local products and produce that are truly delightful and very rare. Plenty to enjoy here.”

“Treat for the kids and they absolutely loved it, especially the bumper cars. Plenty to keep them entertained, including the indoor amusement arcades and soft play. Right next to Littlehampton Beach, river Arun end, so you get the best of both worlds if you are making a day of it. Rides reasonably priced at £20 for ten tickets, bumper cars only 1 ticket per car, so if the kids share one, it makes the tickets last longer. All round excellent value for a fun few hours.”

“A great place to take the children, whether it's for half an hour or the day. Plus there is a community area at the back with a pond so that you can teach your children about pond life. Just be aware that this is an area used by people for different reasons other than being a child in a park, there's also an area for dogs. This is fenced off which is brilliant for dogs that like to run away from their owners”

“For great customer service and a good choice of kitchen units etc., I highly recommend Benchmarx Brighton (Freshfields Business Park). Lee spent as much time as I needed in helping me to choose kitchen units and worktops and showing how the different colour combinations would look when placed side by side. Together with the manager, Neil, they made me feel very welcome. And I love my new kitchen!”

“Brighton Beach is a lively seaside spot full of energy and charm. The pebble shore, colorful promenade, and iconic pier make it a fun place to relax, eat, and explore. It can get crowded in summer, but the atmosphere is always vibrant.”
