“Hector and his colleagues do an amazing job, totally helpful and efficient, Hector the most cheerful and lovely person on the royal mail planet in stark contrast to most of the sub post office counter people in Brighton & hove. Hector & North Road staff make my day whenever I drop in”
“Very tasty, good value, large portions, friendly helpful staff. Large eating area. (I was very grumpy as had a painful leg but they were kind & cheerful & extremely helpful.) Eat in, take away or delivery - all good service”
“Mason was honestly brilliant! He was really friendly and helpful from the start, and made everything super easy. He helped me find what I needed straight away and made sure I left happy. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job. Great customer service — thanks, Mason !”
“Had mine up for two or three years now still looks great”
“Very nice and peaceful park. Plenty of green for children to run around.”
“I shopped on line late last night looking at men's trainers & I put them by”
“I really enjoyed our stay here, and could tell that the staff put alot of effort into welcoming us. The towels were folded into flowers and all sitting on our beds. The room was in very good condition, and the beds comfy. The only downside was taking our bigger luggage bags down the narrow stairwell because there is no lift. Would absolutely reccomended staying here!”
“really friendly staff, great priced coffee and snacks. I only popped in for a coffee but looks like a great community asset.”
“Its one of the best skateparks ive ever been tobefore”
“A very small store . No trade team part. Not Impressed.”
“A new project growing food by the community for the community in a lovely park. Also a wildlife pond, orchard, great kids park, paddling pool and Magpie charity shop make it a great park visit!”
“I have used yesss in the past.. I found Scott very knowledgeable and friendly! There prices are good and service is fast.”
“Great service, always polite and willing to help where they can”
“Very helpful and friendly workers. Made me feel very safe whilst having my fillings. They are very professional but are still up for a laugh! Definitely recommend to anyone who is scared of going to the dentist like me!”
“Sawyers is a very professional, friendly agent, so I’m delighted to be working with them. They have in-depth market knowledge and an excellent understanding of what landlords need and want. They respond to queries efficiently and professionally, they are very friendly and courteous, and, without a doubt, stand out from the other agencies in Brighton and Hove with their comprehensive service. Their office is welcoming and the staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. It is no surprise that a number of landlords have transferred over to them recently. Furthermore they install confidence that landlords’ interests are being looked after just as much as the tenants in the sense of renewals, that properties adhere to rental standards and everyone is informed throughout the tenancy. I particularly like how dedicated team members are assigned to specific properties so it is easy to get things done when need be.”
“perfect local garage, happy to help with bits of diagnosis even if it doesn't result in paid work – couldn't ask for more”
“first class. great food, great staff, pool , sauna and a large comfortable room in grounds you can enjoy a walk around”
“Extremely well stocked with lots of super high quality fruit and veg, cakes, breads... Everything you'd really want from a supermarket to be honest. It's very competitive on price too, given the quality of the produce. Very friendly and has good opening hours/parking.”
“If you like a good walk, park here, have breakfast or just a coffee in the cafe and then hike the Seven Sisters along the coastal path to Eastbourne via the Birling Gap (about half way and there's a cafe and facilities there) and the Belle Tout lighthouse. Seven hills to climb and seven valleys to recharge. The views from the cliffs over Beachy Head are spectacular. It's about a five hour walk. We had fish and chips by the pier as a reward! Catch the no. 12 bus back from Eastbourne to the country park to your car. Parking all day at Seven Sisters Country Park costs £7 (August 2025).”
“I cannot recommend Hopscotch nursery highly enough. Our daughter started attending when she was 20 months old. The team were incredibly supportive to both our daughter and us during the settling in process. Since starting, our daughter’s confidence as well as language development has been incredible. She absolutely loves going in and has built strong relationships with her key workers and other children. The team are very good at keeping us updated on activities and development. I particularly appreciate that I was encouraged to always call if I want to check in. It’s very reassuring knowing your child is in such safe and caring hands.”
“Very nice park. very well maintained. harry kavanar was very nice, and helped me find my way back. i also ordered this ant costume. cant wait for it to arrive.”
“Modern building in very good condition. Clean and warm. Well stocked kitchen and clean toilets. Car park, which is also used by the public as the building is on the edge of a park.”
“My son and I visited TeamSport Brighton today and had an absolutely brilliant time. We were the only two on track, which meant we managed 24 fast laps in the first session – an incredible experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially the site manager and Hugo, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely customer-focused. A really enjoyable visit and a pleasure to be there. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Been our local off licence for 9 years. Amazingly well stocked and staff are all friendly and helpful. Rarely need to go anywhere else but would be great if it was open till 12/1 on weekends”
“We went there for a live music concert held in the nave which is itself stunning....People and venue and concert are all fabulous.”
“good size bike course. just make sure you take the appropriate bike.”
“Me and my disabled son loved visiting this place the staff were so understanding, we enjoyed seeing the pigs, alpacas, baby goats and horses there outside play area was amazing there was so much for my little boy to do and he was so happy .. they also have a soft play but we were unable to visit it as my son got really tired and overwhelmed due to his mobility condition x”
“Handy as off the motorway so easy access, sufficient parking, friendly (and funny) staff. Warm and cold food served upstairs and lockers. Now, for the venue and layout.. 3 words, "bring a towel" as the 2 hours session across the flat able area, climbing, jumping, bouncing.. you'll need it. It was so much fun and great to see how children who met in an environment of fun can instantly get along. Well worth it and certainly returning again soon.”
“Lovely staff very helpful and patient.”
