βIdeal place to taste great wine and fresh cheese. I had a cheese selection on Wriggle and sampled six fantastic cheese. The choice is superb and with wine was a great way to combine. βWe visited for a hen do on the weekend. I had been messaging directly with the venue a few weeks before. Very helpful and responsive. Went to see the act Cherrybomb, who was brilliant. There was 16 of us in our group of all ages and everyone loved the show. They had reserved appropriate amount of space for our group. All up dancing and having a laugh. The entire team at Affinity were so nice and accommodating. Would recommend in a heart beat. My 76 year old mum loved it that much, she asked if we can go again and we pretty much had to drag her out at the end of the night for our ride home :-) bless her. Thanks again for the evening xxβ

βMike and Susie are super guests. It is a beautiful setting in Sussex close to Brighton and Burgess Hill. Hurstpierpoint is a lovely little village close to the farmhouse with restaurants and bars. Lovely breakfast was served. Thank you for your hospitality.β
βobsessed with the pizzas at decked out. Super tasty, fresh ingredients, love to see a homemade marinara! Service and vibe in dead wax is always awesome which just makes the whole experience. Listening to Black Sabbath while eating the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath pizza is 10/10 !!β
βDon't try the bolognese and the burgers but instead try the fries (all the varieties). Good prices on the beer and good vibes over weekend. The karokey nights are really fun.β
βCocktails! This is the place you must go for a cocktail. Iβm sure youβll be a usual customer after that. The staff is always smiling and making sure everything is okay. There is a live music upstairs. Also, they have a club downstairs usually open on Fridays&Saturdays. I have been to many clubs in Brighton. I should say Antidote was a different experience. The first thing you realise is this place is very clean! We all know how bad it could be when you go to club and see a dirty toilet or a bar. I see staff is making sure everywhere is clean and theyβre checking during the night. Lastly, donβt miss their Afrobeats night!!!β
βVisited today for a drink on our first ever trip to this town. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming providing us with a map and showing us various places thank youβ
βGreat selection of alcohol, you can find pretty much everything in this shop! Also great deals on just outdated stuff!β
βFood so good we ate there two days in a row. A dinner one day and a post-hike lunch the next. The bonus was eating in a listed building from the 14th century. Ambiance galore. The staff were incredibly friendly at both meals. The location couldn't be better for hiking on the South Downs Way, right at the spot where the hike meets the village. Gluten free fish and chips were on offer. The catch of the day was grilled to perfection. Great kudos we're given for their chicken and leek pie special.β
βWe had an impromptu bar lunch here. Dog friendly. Gorgeous soup, tasty braised venison and focaccia bread which was honestly the best I've ever tasted..honey and fennel seeds. Lovely woodland walks around. Will now plan to come backβ
ββββββ Aged Steak House β Steak Done Right Outstanding experience from start to finish. The Chateaubriand steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked β melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The asparagus, mac & cheese, onion rings, and fries were all top-notch, each dish full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere warm and classy. 5/5 β Exceptional food and flawless execution. Highly recommend!β
βFabulous dinner, Meat Borad, Olive Christini's and Naughty Chips. Fantastic atmosphere, lovely cold beers, the staff were excellent, attentive, and friendly as always. Highly recommend!!β
βHave just returned from enjoying the tastiest breakfast here! We were looking for somewhere do friendly for myself, my parents and my brother and his partner to meet and catch up but we were hoping to bring our 10 month old German Shepherd pup too. They couldn't have been more chilled and accommodating if they tried. Firstly, the staff were so lovely and friendly, super chilled with Bella, bringing her a bowl of water when we arrived and so kind when she wasn't totally aware how much space her puppy butt was taking up. The food was amazing, the smoothies tasted great and when we ordered a sausage for the pup, it was provided in a cute lil cup of her own and helped keep laying down and learning to be calm in public places. I ordered the chorizo eggs (Photo) and I would wholeheartedly recommend. We will absolutely be returning in the near future!β
βThe guys who served us here were lovely, definitely felt very welcomed in this bar! Nice wee spot but it did get very busy, the Guinness was great too.. hard to find a good pint of Guinness outside of Ireland. This pub is dog friendly too!β
βI can wholeheartedly recommend the ancient mariner for a fantastic meal! We were a group and weβre in for a lunchtime get together. We opted for a wide range of small plates which were all excellent and i must make a special mention about the braised beef and cheddar croquettes and the battered fish and chips was out of this world.β
βWas great, Florin was our waiter. Great service and good food! - George As soon as we arrived we had a lovely dining experience, beautiful restaurant. The staff are lovely and we were lucky enough to have Florin as our waiter. - Rubyβ
βWhat a pleasant surprised. Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasn't the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasn't too crisp that we couldn't bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.β
βWe popped in on an off chance after walking at devils dike. We were instantly welcomed by two lovely ladies who were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful selection of locals beers and dog friendly. Would definitely come back to try the food!β
βA delightful pub with excellent food and service, and treats for the dog on a little platter. We shall definitely come back here again!β
βHad a delicious meal here. The flavors were amazing, especially the tahini chocolate mousse and the Bavette steak. Great selection of wines as well.β
