βFirstly the service was amazing, Adele was so friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the food was unbelievable! We had the Smoke Platter and shared it between two, luckily we did, it was MASSIVE, we had to wrap what we couldnβt eat to go. Thirdly, Adeleβs espresso martinis are a MUST!!β
βStunning cuisine. I'm not a salad lover but Izmir Bar and Grill have absolutely nailed it! It was a friend's birthday and already from the starter, we knew we had winning meals. The dessert was exquisite. Most impressive was the portion sizes. Not too much or too little - but just right! East Street restaurants be careful. Izmir Bar and Grill is leagues ahead β€ Special mention to our lovely waitress Jasmine. Thank you and Management for a delightful lunch out.β
βWe held a wake here recently but sadly, a lot of food, which was plentiful, was not eaten despite it being very good. The staff were very helpful, even providing something for a guest who was intolerant to certain foods and which we were not previously aware of. The buffet we chose was extremely fairly priced and we were more than happy to pay extra for any tes and coffees ordered.β
βBen, Shannon and Amy were amazing! So accommodating and friendly! Came in without a booking and couldnβt do enough to help us. Drinks were amazing, everything was explained to us in great detail and my son and nephew had the best time which is weird because Iβd never have my nephew pegged as a karaoke person but he really enjoyed it. Thank you so much guysβ
βThis was my first visit here (I had only had a brief look around on a few days earlier) and it was great. You can order very easily from the different kitchens using a QR code from your table and enjoy the sea views and music. My food from temaki (Japanese kitchen) was delicious and presented beautifully. Good prices for the quality. Lovely friendly staff.β
βLove to visit this pub for a carvery when I come from Bournemouth. It never disappoints with the nicely cooked roast and al dente vegetables. Staff are lovely and can't do enough. Proper pub!β
βNice traditional pub. Where you can relax and enjoy a drink. Barley Mow has been there at least 50 years and feels warm and welcoming. A modern innovation, you are encouraged to order food in from local restaurants or try out the pubs own menu, so plenty of joice. There's loads of games to play, a patio with covered areas in case it rains. In the winter an open fire nice and cozy great for a romantic date.β
βAnother great traditional Brighton pub that is tucked away just far enough off the main roadways to make it feel like a locals pub. Friendly staff, friendly locals. Great meeting point as it's just a few minutes from the station. Toilets a bit gross though haha.β
βHad the best time here before the On The Beach in the summer. Barman Keith was fantastic and we ended up staying for hours instead of "only popping in for one" will 100% be backβ
βI can confidently say this is the best Korean restaurant in Brighton. Every dish is delicious, and the owner is incredibly kind. If youβve never tried Korean food or if you already love it, you absolutely have to come here!β
βCame for dinner on Sat night. I've been coming here for years, and have always loved it. Dinner on Sat was perfect, Catherine our waiter was on point, attentive and charming. The bar guys kept our glasses full and gave great recommendations. Every dish was seasoned and balanced, the kitchen nailed it! Cant wait to come back. Thanks again.β
βLovely meal at the weekend. Impromptu visit, called ahead about 30 minutes before and they managed to find us a table for 2. Great food, starters, mains and dessert. Filet steak was very tasty. Nice cheerful staff. Nice little place to go.β
βStunning. The pond water ale was spot on, couldn't leave it alone. The Indian food was just fantastic, as good as the best Indian restaurants we've been to. Brilliantly decorated. Impressive service by the friendly young lady managing multiple tables with practised ease.β
βThe place is big, with a nice decor. The service very good, thanks to the attentive waitress. We had some tapas and the moussaka: everything was tasty.β
βExcellent customer service. Staff is courteous, professional and attentive. Food is delicious, good quality of the meals, excellent presentation and perfectly cooked. Great Sunday roast in a lovely modern environment or in the spacious back gardenβ
βRecently booked out the function room at Haus on the Hill and was thoroughly impressed by the place. I can't speak for the food as I didn't get any, however they had a good selection of beer and cider, all of which was in great condition. Staff were very friendly and service was very good - thank you to the Haus on the Hill for having us :)β
βRhianne , Sophie and Lewis never fail to make me and everyone else feel comfortable, we always have the best laughs. This pub is the best place in the world. Shoutout to all the bar and kitchen staffβ€οΈβ
βWent to Roundhill for the Sunday lunch as it plant based. We tried the mushroom Wellington and nut roast which were both good. My wifeβs Yorkshire pudding needing more cooking. Vegetables were lovely. The trillionaires pudding was very good. Overall a lovely experience and may visit again when in Brighton.β
βLess quirky than the others the Lewes road Inn That used to be the 'Franklin' if you've got a sweet tooth two for one desserts on a Tuesday! No photos too good mmmm!β
βGreat pub, friendly staff and really good beer. And of course THAT Banksy. Love the other wall art outside as well. Was only there on a flying visit and wished I'd stayed longerβ

βGreat service, Atmosphere and the food was amazing. Would definitely go again!β
βA lovely quaint pub next to the river. A pleasant atmosphere, really friendly and welcoming team of staff, and the Sunday Roast - I had the minted lamb - was delicious. A generous portion, with plenty of veg and just the right amount of gravy. I say at a small table outside, and the sun shone down on us. I enjoyed my visit here and trust you shall too. 5 stars for the food and the service. A high 4 for the atmosphere. Overall, easily 5 stars.β
βAlways great. Almost always busy with customers. Great selection of rotating beers on tap, most of them local. Food is cheap and actually decent. Bar games in the backβ
βPerfect place for a warm Summer evening meal outside. Great menu and very good quality food. Chicken came with one of the best Caesar salads Iβve had in a long while including fresh anchovies. The trout was also perfectly cooked. Large garden with various options for eating outside;open, partly or totally under cover. Best to book a table or arrive early especially on weekends, although be aware you canβt order food until 6pm.β
