βCame here for a roast with my closest friend and it was super. The atmosphere is bet linch at her finest with glamorous surroundings and animal prints. The roast we had was delicious. The girls who served us were delightful and couldnβt do enough for us. A gentlemen there also provided a bowl of water for our furry friend. Definitely worth visiting for a homemade meal.β
βWe had an amazing time, Ash, Alex and Steve was such friendly hosts. The pub is beautiful And well maintained. The karaoke there was fantastic and we will be back again soon.β
βWe held our area meeting in the room above the pub. On arrival the room was all laid out ready with water and glasses. Excellent venue to hold a meeting. Big screen to hook your laptop up to. We also had lunch there and the food was fantastic. The staff couldnβt have been more helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be returning again. Great venue. Thank youβ
βBeautiful food, both in presentation and in taste. Just the right amount for a roast and everything on the plate was delicious and hot, nothing overcooked - really well put together roast. We had a chicken and a beef; other options available and also options for dietary requirements. Service was great to start but dropped off after we were served the roasts, so we ended up back at the bar to request bill. No biggy. It's a beautiful pub, warm and comfortable - very big family vibes on this Sunday we went, so if you're solo, or like us child free, bear that in mind; I rated 3/5 for atmosphere and that's entirely about personal preference not that the pub got anything wrong.β
βWhat a beautiful cafe and bar, to view all the wonderful cats (my favourite was Fifi so stoic and statue-like). The staff were friendly and made sure we knew all about the kitties and gave us treats to give to them. We had some cocktails which were very nice and some focaccia which was warm and crispy (yum). Would recommend if you love cats and observing their funny behaviour, very chill!β
βThis place is amazing. Loved the vibe, music, and most importantly the food. We were looking for the perfect place that served breakfast; cooked for me and vegan for my wife. After looking at several places, we found Kooks. We were served by the very friendly Glyn. What arrived was knock-out (see photos). My poached eggs were perfect. Real attention to detail with the cooking. And my wifeβs yoghurt and granola was exactly what she craved, but there was also a vegan cooked breakfast option. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and weβll be going back the next time weβre in Brighton. Love love love β€οΈβ

βService was fast and food delicious. Got 3 small tapas plates which was perfect for my appetite. I particularly loved the veggie quesadillas. Also got a free soft drink with it (tapas Tuesday). The veggie options are great and diverse. The ambience in the evening is great although the music a bit loud. Great for a meal with a friend!β
βWhat an excellent pub! I only stumbled upon it after a hike. Brilliant selection of craft beers on draft and a couple of cask ales. Very nice beer garden below the chalk cliff. Very enjoyable chat with the friendly owner Dominic. Iβll be back!β
βGreat for showing sports on multiple screens and a game of "toad in the hole". Very friendly atmosphere..β
βFirst time in there last THU for the open decks night and had a really good time. Very friendly people and staff, great service and brilliant atmosphere. Thanks for a great night out.β
βWe celebrated our son and future daughter in-laws engagement here. The staff were brilliant and treated them to a glass of bubbles and cute congratulations motif on their desserts. It was great to have an exclusive little room to ourselves and we felt unhurried and relaxed. Thank youβ
βI think this must be fairly new as I have no recollection of this pub / restaurant. Thomas Paine has strong local connections, unlike Casta and Madge. He helped inspire the American revolutionary war and almost lost his head in the French one. Silly so and so. I had another Harvey's Sussex best bitter. One of three real ales on my visit. Very good. Up steep stairs finds a roof terrace. Must be lovely on a warm sunny day / evening. Free wifi.β
βAmazing pub, great beer garden, lovely stuff, and the food was to die for! We really enjoyed our first visit 6 pub, and we defo will be back! Home made food and dog friendly.β
βA lovely pub with friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice and cosy seating areas didn't feel overlooked. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit.β
βA wonderful cafe, with wonderful view, staff and food. Highly recommend. A great place to meet with friends or enjoy a glass of wine/cup of coffee on your ownβ
βFood was excellent and well prepared. Staff were great and very accommodating. This is a traditional pub which is reflected in the menu. There is a good selection of drinks available. Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.β
βWe had a brewery experience day with zak the brewer on Saturday 15th November. On arrival we knew it would be a great day as greeted by zak with bacon sarnies and coffee quickly prepared. The brewery room was cozy and felt perfect for a personal day for the 3 of us. The day was hands on and the samples during the day made it flow well. Zak was full of knowledge, good humour and great personal service. He is a huge asset to the company and the whole day. Lunch was served at a good time and come to us all within our own private brewing room. To finish the day we had a choice of our own beer to take away. We will be back again to see zak and see what else we can brew. Overall the day was more than great. It was amazing. Richard worthing.β
βI first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! Weβve been back every month since, itβs brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if itβs someoneβs birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, Iβm surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys weβll see you next month!β
βOne of the best place in Worthing and surrounding! Delicious food, very good portions and not as pricey as you would think, buying main two sides comes with it! My experience over the years just getting better and better! Owner always around very professional and friendly staff! Location just couple minutes walking distance from the Worthing sea side! Been going there from the day they open and will continue as they have best chicken wings and T-bone stake!β
βAmazing food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. 3 of us had bowls of the most incredible chilli followed by desserts. Can't wait to go back!β
βFantastic meal. Couldn't fault any aspect of it. Delicious!β
βStaff are nice and friendly , and very welcoming , I love the food also and a good atmosphere vibrant and fun , and then they have multiple tvβs showing multiple sports and games etc. which is great defo recommend. And you get 10% of your drink if you download the green king sport app and it works out as one of the, if not the cheapest pint going in Worthing .β
βI came here in search of food to cater for my severe nut allergy having not felt confident to eat at another restaurant. The girl behind the bar was brilliant, and Chris the Chef was extremely thorough at checking all the ingredients and ensuring there was no cross-contamination. 10/10 for the service, and I will 100% eat and drink here again when passing through for work. 10/10 for the atmosphere too!β
βThe quality of the food and service at The Corner House pub was absolutely exceptional. If youβre looking for the perfect place for a Sunday roast β look no further! Youβll be amazed at the portion sizes, especially the Yorkshire puddings, which were out of this world. Every single vegetable was cooked to perfection, with real care and quality shining through. We went as a small family of four and were completely blown away by just how good the food was. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming too, making it the ideal spot for a family meal. If you want a Sunday roast done properly, make sure you get in there early β I can only imagine tables get booked out well in advance. Thanks for a wonderful experience. β Martin and familyβ
βLovely little old town pub. Nice n cosy. Food was really good ,portions were great. Service with a smile too. All 4 of us enjoyed our Xmas catch up here.β
βWe did the bottomless brunch with Szymon aka shimmy!! What a brilliant time we had. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he was attentive and made us feel like the only people in the bar despite the bar being full of Christmas parties. Would thoroughly recommend the bottomless brunch and Harlequins especially if served by Szymon!β
βLovely ambience, a view over the river Adur. Nice comfortable seating, pool table, and function room upstairs. Also, a snooker table. An extensive menu, good food. I had the chicken curry. Excellent pint of Guinness. Nice friendly staff. Car park at the front and the side. Excellent steak meal. Great Sunday roast.β
