It’s so easy to just buy online but I popped in to look at tennis rackets, spent 15 minutes trying a number of rackets while being advised by knowledgeable staff and returned home with a suitable racket at a very fair price. No guessing or waiting for delivery. Use it or lose it.”

“Being a first time shopper here I have honoured this store with five star rating. I always assed it would be the kind of outlet where you would need a second mortgage to afford any items and always walked past it. How naive of me to do so.. As winter is rolling in I browsed around Worthing looking for a coat and found many stores that had restricted movements in the arms. When I tried here as a "browse" I was impressed with the same quality of jacket reduced to £40 compared with the likes of TKMAXX which wanted £120.. Saved me £80 coming here.. If like me and you work outside I would highly recommend this store.. Staff seemed friendly and professional.. Service is top notch and as a customer seeking clothing items it is one of the best experiences I have encountered.. I will definitely be returning and investing my money if I get quick, professional, quality service as well as the products.. What I bought is the technical performance winter jacket reduced from £90 to £40 and since leaving the store I haven't taken it off I'm that impressed with the quality.. Overall shopping time here:- 10 minutes maximum.”

“I would give this store more stars if I could. Their service is outstanding. I accompanied my brother, a middle aged man with learning difficulties to help him find hiking boots to aid with his difficulties walking on inward turning completely flat feet. He is already doing physio and being seen by MSK but his current shoes were not helping. We were met by Olly an intelligent, perceptive and kind young salesman who was determined to find my brother the very best boots for him. He had William's feet measured on their scanning machine and was gentle with my brother when he did not stand in the right place at first. As it happened the very first boots Olly brought over were the ones. My brother's gait was immediately and significantly improved. These were also the ones my brother found most comfortable. Not all salespeople provide good service to people with learning difficulties but Olly was exemplary. He always addressed questions directly to my brother and was patient and considerate. Thank you for all of your help. My brother often finds shopping stressful, but not today. He is delighted with the new boots.”

“Finding the shop was not easy but parking was possible off street. Just walk up the stairs and open the obvious door. Straight forward, fear not, everyone working is in the room up left. Big open space, stretched out wings and busy team. Everyone very friendly and attentive. Mike sorted my busted harness out in record time on time. It looks better than even before i hit the barbed wire. Arrived home a week before deadline, very happy overall. Recommended.”

Though the selection is somewhat limited, most of the gear is of very high quality, and with roughly the same price as elsewhere whether that is in store or online.”

“How many Halfords employees does it take to change a lightbulb? 2 apparently; one grumpy old man to tell you not to park your car in a fitting bay (at the time you have booked) only to have to move it immediately back there after moving it elsewhere and then to tell you they can't change the headlamp bulb on your car even though you tell them you have seen it done before without taking the whole headlamp unit out and then the 18 year old who apparently knows nothing to do it in a matter of seconds. The 5 stars are for the young lad who was very polite with a great customer manner and an extra bonus 0 stars were awarded for the grumpy git (If he wasn't just having an off day please let the young lad give him a bit of training).”

If they follow through on providing credit monitoring then I'll keep it at 5*. The machine itself is genuinely good, but the data breach left me rattled. Old review: Just got an email from them stating that my personal info and credit card details have been stolen from their system. Absolutely furious. The equipment is good. But that really doesn't matter at this point.”
