“I had a fantastic experience! The system they have in place to accommodate allergies is incredibly helpful it really put me at ease. A lovely staff member took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole process easy and safe.The cocktails were absolutely outstanding! Special shoutout to the talented lady who crafted them, you nailed it!All of the staff that evening were warm and welcoming. They made both me and my friend feel really comfortable. What a great bunch of people. We'll definitely be back!”

“Really impressed with this place, food was delicious and you can’t fault the portion sizes. The vurger was a pretty solid veggy burger and the pork fillet was spot on. At a push I’d say the burger could have done with a bit less relish but that might be personal preference. We came at the end of service so can’t say much about the atmosphere but the decor was comfortable and staff were attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying the cocktails.”

“Booked this hotel the night before flying from Bristol airport. Staff were friendly and efficient and check in was quick and easy. The room we had was clean and very comfortable. I also booked car parking for the week with shuttle transfer to the airport, for some reason it wasn't available at 4am the following morning, but without even asking they arranged a complementary taxi to take us, which was unexpected but very much appreciated. pick up from the airport was just as efficient, just a call to the driver and ten minutes later he arrived to take us back to our car. Just couldn't find fault with this hotel or any of there staff.”

“Ambience of the restaurant was very nice. We had steaks and onion soup, it was so good, I had the best steak ever. Manager their Pratik who was taking care of our table was really good, and he suggested us really nice wine which went really well along with our steaks. I tried vegetarian antipisti platter for 2 as my starter and a main. The size of the dish was very generous and food was hot and tasty. I would order it again in a future.”

“I am shocked at how few people were in The Place. Bar staff are very polite and friendly. Prices are excellent. Food! Excellent! Proper cheese on a pizza. Fishfinger sized slabs of meat in the cowpie, which all fell apart beautifully! Carvery was very generous with meat and was all in all wonderful. Also, dog friendly throughout is very convenient! Would recommend!”

“My friend and I were visiting Bristol and stopped here for breakfast one day. We loved it so much that we went there for breakfast the following day too! Great choice of food, reasonable prices, best garlic butter mushrooms I've had in ages, cool inside when it was baking hot outside, quick service, can order at the table on an app.”

“We called ahead to ask if we could still book, despite it only being an hour until they closed. But they accommodated our group of three. The service was impeccable, they were all friendly and polite. The glasses were crystal clear and the beer was ice cold (what more could you want?). The pizza was incredible, definitely authentic Italian pizza, I've eaten pizza all over Italy and this easily ranks among the best of them. Deliciously flavourful, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The atmosphere was nice, the way they have decorated, along with the music really makes you feel like you're abroad. The prices were extremely good as well, my pizza was one of the most expensive on the menu at only £14 (Dominos charge £24 for a pizza of the same size). 10/10 will absolutely be back.”

After this experience we would definitely return for cocktails. Such a cool little cocktail bar”
