“I'm not a pub goer but I won two pizza in a school raffle from this pub so I ordered takeaway.....absolutely delicious pizzas, Loopy lou and lazy pig . Pub had a lovely atmosphere with a roaring fire”

“Amazing proper pub. The pizzas are better than any of the big chains and a lot cheaper! Local ciders and a good range of other drinks. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.Beer garden, Pool table and board games. Overall a great family pub.”
“We stayed away for my husband birthday. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I highly recommend the raspberry and rhubarb gin! The room was cosy and well equipped and the pub had such a lovely vibe, it was bustling and the smell of warm mulled wine filled the air!”
“Calcot Manor offers an exceptional experience with matched service. It is a beautiful setting. We always enjoy using the gym / spa and then finishing off in The Hive” for a coffee / bite to eat. The staff in the Hive are fantastic “Amelia” being one of the many whom always greet us with a smile and warm service. We highly recommend a visit.”
“Visited with my family of 5 and 3 small children. We had the fish n chips, lasagna and ceasar chicken. All food was delicious. The kid portion of fish n chips had the best fish and best fries. Smaller in size and crustier ”
“Cute pub, lovely staff, amazing selection of craft brews on tap, fantastic outdoor beer garden… what more could you ask for!”
“My wife and I recently hiked the Cotswold Way, and we stopped here for lunch on our fifth day. This was, without question, our favorite drinking experience during the hike. In 2007, the Old Spot was named the CAMRA National Pub of the Year. If current operations and offerings are any indication, the pub is still living up to that very high standard. It has seven real ales on cask, and we ran the board during our visit, savoring each. We were particularly pleased to see the Old Ric from Uley Brewery, which we had been eager to try. Our lunch was equally pleasing, with hearty vegan fare fueling the second half of our hike.”
“Hidden gem. Great little pub with good select of traditional food. Had the Farmers Ploughman and was not disappointed. Always seems very busy, so need to get there early. Lovely outdoor seating with plenty of room. Dog friendly inside and outside.”
“Excellent restaurant in Hutton easily missed as hidden away. Food was excellent. Had both my favourites. Seating inside and outside. Best to book .”

“From the minute we arrived, the waiter made us feel so welcome. All the staff were very friendly and funny. The food was incredible - pizza and pasta alike - and the atmosphere was really buzzing. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting authentic and great value Italian cuisine with brilliant service.”
“What a great pub, fantastic atmosphere , affordable drinks and live music so what more could you want and all on the main road and right on our doorstep, a true gem !”

“Got here right when they opened. The cider selection is vast. Finally, I chose a Browns and a sausage roll. Great cider, great roll, great service. Definitely stop in if your in the area”
“I visited The Lock Up on Sunday for a roast, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! This was my third time at the restaurant, and it was by far the best experience yet. I came this time as a Coeliac and was absolutely over the moon with the gluten-free options available—both for mains and desserts. I was especially thrilled to have a Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese, which are such rare treats for Coeliacs. I had the beef, which was cooked perfectly—tender and not at all chewy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. I really appreciated the care they took. Highly recommend—especially if you're looking for a great gluten-free Sunday roast!”
“Really good burger spot. I stumbled across it when visiting my boy in hospital as it's just up the road. Delicious chicken burger, very nice cider on tap. Very friendly and helpful team. Can't wait to go back and try the beef.”
“We have been here a few times now and our favourite thing is the aubergines and the marinated anchovies. We had a botifarra sausage dish with beans but the beans were not cooked enough. The aubergines with molasses were iconic as always. The tortilla de patatas got mixed reviews (no onions or seasoned enough). The girls loved the two desserts although one of them noticed that the basque cheesecake was a New York cheesecake not a basque one - indeed. The girls also love their drinks. The atmosphere is banging and because it’s a small place it gets very cosy.”
“Came to the Wackum today and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I was served by Leah who was very welcoming and gave extremely good service even though it was my first time visiting the pub. Had the two course meal with my friend consisting of a lasagne and fish and chips. Both meals were cooked to perfection by the chef Damion and were hot and very tasty. I finished off the meal by enjoying an apple crumble. I was amazed at the value of the food in a really modern and comfortable pub setting. It surprised me as it was completely differently from what the outside suggests. Thankyou to the team members for treating me like someone they had met many times. Me and my friend will definitely be returning on a regular basis. We since have returned and really pleasantly surprised that the atmosphere and service is exactly the same. Thankyou to all the Wackum team who work so hard.”
“I couldn’t recommend the plough in Easton enough! The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating and the atmosphere is great. The pub itself is quirky, cosy and holds a real sense of community. The feather lampshades are absolutely gorgeous… LOVE them. Best pub in Bristol by a gert lush country mile”
“Cosy; compact, expensive bar but well worth a visit. Very friendly if you like socialising- this is for you.”
“My partner and I have been here many times and we absolutely love it! The views from the outdoor seating and beer garden are lovely anytime of day, especially in the summer, making it the perfect place to relax with a few drinks. The inside seating area has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for the winter, with friendly and professional staff. The food here never disappoints, with a wide range of choices, all of which are delicious! A special thanks to the Chef, Matt behind the bar and Kim who served us for the 5 star service. Thank you again to the team at The George Inn, we will be back again as always!”
“Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!”
“Great food and service. We shared the King Prawn appetizer. I had their Chicken Casserole dish and my spouse the Mutancana. Both are signature dishes and they did not disappoint.”
“Absolutely would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is stunning - don't let the exterior fool you, as it's gorgeous inside. The staff are lovely, and the food is truly amazing. Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues: the steps down to the restaurant are quite steep. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!”
“very positive experience of today's breakfast at turtle bay. The breakfast I chose was delicious. I also had the opportunity to meet the head chef, for which I am very grateful. full professionalism, overall very nice service! I recommend.”
“Had a lovely birthday lunch at Ponte Vecchio last week. We were well looked after by Tommy in particular, but all of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was all delicious, especially the scallop starter they had on special. Will definitely go back next time we're in Bath, highly recommended.”
