“Met up with family to celebrate our son's birthday. The waiting staff girls were really friendly. We ate fairly early (6pm). The tables were spaced far enough apart to make it seem intimate. Lovely atmosphere in The Crown and the food was delicious and nicely presented. Good choice of beers.”

“Tried the Christmas dinner buffet today, and it was so good. The food wasn’t oily and it did not have any colouring agent as you would find in most restaurants. The parathas were made to order and they had the authentic Tamil Nadu paratha taste. The fish puttu and rava laddu were an added bonus. Would recommend this place highly if you want to try authentic Tamil Nadu food. The price is really affordable as well!”

“Lovely pub with friendly, accommodating staff, various seating options, and tasty food. It can get quite noisy on a Wednesday evening when pub golf takes place, but staff keep things moving fairly well. I always enjoy my time here.”

“I was coming from a very long journey when I lost my water bottle on the way. I randomly went into White Lion and asked for a glass of tap water. The bartender kindly gave us iced tap water with a slice of lemon (probably noticing the tiredness on our faces), and we were expecting to be charged — but he said, “It’s on the house.” It was one of the nicest gestures a stranger has ever shown me.”

“It's got a great venue, but I just like the garden and sitting in St Nicks market... Lots of fun people, always a good place to go and watch the world do it's thing... When I say garden. I mean the venue is technically the seating area out front, even though there's no grass... I call it a garden, and it's nice to sit there any evening..”

“This place is great for some fun playing pool or darts, they charge per hour 1/2 hour also you can pay per game, the food is great and service always really good! It can get quite busy even in the day, they have members card and student discount cards too!”

“Probably the most delicious fish and chips I’ve ever had! Staying locally for work and had cod, chips and curry sauce, delicious! Back again and had the same with Irish curry sauce, even better! Cod was cooked fresh, just the right size portion of chips and lovely friendly staff. Good job I have to come down regularly :)”

“Excellent Sunday roast. Customers should book in advance for Sunday roasts as this is a popular spot. The medium-rare beef is excellent but heard the chicken is delicious as well. The vegetables add a perfect balance of flavour and a side of cauliflower cheese is also recommended.”

If you want to party in Park Street, this is the place to be. And every Friday they play reggaeton, so if that is what you like, you MUST stop by there. Cheers”
