“The staff were busy preparing the venue for opening their tap room at the time of the visit, but the space already looks amazing. Currently, bottles of their mead and beer are available for takeaway from the Meadery/Brewery and via their website. Keep up the great work.”
“Great local brewery. Since the lockdown, they have stopped serving food. There is a shop to stock up on Kingstone beers and also some local ciders from local brewers. There is a glamping site and a taproom for events. The kitchen has recently been refitted, so hopefully they will serve a light lunch in the future. I had hoped for a plowman's lunch and a beer.”
“We have hosted our Office Christmas Party at Zerodegrees in Bristol twice now, and have had extremely positive experiences both times. We are a large group of 300, and the venue was perfect. The event manager Paul was extremely accommodating and couldn't do enough to help, ensuring the party went smoothly. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and ensured we had the best time. The food was great (we opted for a buffet style) and it was perfect for the guests, we had plenty and the venue kept replenishing ensuring food was fresh and we had what we needed. They also took allergies very seriously and ensured everything was clearly labelled. The venue is perfect for a mix of standing and seating, making it accessible for all and great for the whole evening (from eating and chatting earlier in the night, to plenty of room for dancing later on!) Thank you so much to the whole Zerodegrees team for making our night fantastic!”
“We really enjoyed the food and the vibe here. Erin was particularly friendly and helpful made our evening even more lovely and vivid!”
“Amazing cottage accommodation! Lovely walks and good train service in walking distance to Bath and Bradford Upon Avon. The google maps location incorrect though. You need to head into Freshford and pass the Inn pub and go up the hill and then back down. If you reach the school sign you've gone too far.”
“Wow! What an amazing camp, from aerial tricks to dance routines and arts and crafts the day is filled with so much to do. My daughter loved every second and can’t wait to go back. Jodie and her team made the day so much fun and kept us updated throughout the day with videos and photos. A brilliant camp and highly recommended to anyone who wants to try something different, we will definitely be returning!!”
“Lovely little place on an industrial estate in Bradford on Avon. I had the amber lager and hubby a Stout, really good and made on the premises. Really friendly staff that showed us to a bench alongside the canal. Definitely worth a visit if in the area. It's only a small place but packs plenty of punch.”
“This place continues to be the best fine dining experience around. The menu is compact and exquisite and everything is cooked to perfection. The wine list is very comprehensive and advice is offered on pairing with the menu. All in all the best place to eat in Thornbury.”
“Excellent place for a meal or cake, breakfast is outstanding and the Ice Slices are the very best I've ever had! Delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful location. Highly recommended!”
“Great little place, don't know how I only just started going here. Really nice staffing the pop up food was nice. Pints very reasonable price and very good.”
“Lovely pub. Each and every staff member are a credit to the company. We ate twice in the week we were down in the area for Pirate Mania I would certainly recommend it to any one who's staying in the area.”
“Great food, the owners are lovely, always welcoming. Love this pub, great for sports and always have good quality beer.”
“Great old pub with lots of atmosphere!”
“Hadn’t booked a table but we’re able to get one. Service was quick and efficient. Food was tasty, £16.95 for a beef Sunday roast and £11.95 for fish of the day. Fish was breaded plaice, but that was a bit stodgy.”
“Ate Sunday lunch here today. Absolutely lovely. The lamb was superb and the nut roast was one of the best I’ve tasted. The veg were cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was delicious. Very good service and the live piano was delightful. I cannot fault anything. Will definitely eat here again.”
“Great place to meet and eat and/or drink. Food is fantastic, something for everyone. Portions are ample. But please be careful when stepping out of the pub as 2 of my friends fell down badly from their step. We have also heard this is an occurrence with others having a fall. The step should be painted whited as you cannot see in the dark. The step is not a general size so unexpected”
“Great local with lovely staff and good selection of drinks. The outdoor seating would be great with a wooden canopy so it could be used in all weathers”
“Very nice cafe. Really nice breakfast. We will definitely come here again. Clean and tidy place throughout.”
“Fantastic place for gluten free options. Went for Sunday lunch, ive never seen so many gluten free options for dessert! Had the beef, and gluten free crumble, will definitely be returning to experience the other menus they have on weekdays.”
“Cosy local pub with very friendly staff. We enjoyed the food, and can highly recommend the fish and chips. Everything felt home made. Recommended”
“I have a delivery from the mango house and first everything was packing perfectly then I was impressed for the quality and quantity of the food it was only for me and it seems like for two or three persons. I really like the share dish and the Bread is hay they add to my order. Really recommend!”
“Lovely little venue. Was a very good host to our large group of 14 heads. Lee the owner was very generous and new a lot about all the drinks behind the bar. Plenty of choice not just beer and ale but spirits too. Would definitely recommend !”
“I popped into this shop for the first time today as I was in the area. What a friendly welcome from these lovely people.”
“had a drink here with a friend, lovely little place - really nice selection of drinks from the fridge, especially a raspberry beer that i can't remember the name of but was delicious. staff were very friendly, the woman working was very personable and offered me a sample of one of the ciders on tap, much appreciated! they were also happy to let my friend charge her phone and let us stay a little late in the outdoor seating. little things that made it very nice! cheers!”
“I've stayed at The Bowl Inn a couple of timed now for work. The rooms are clean, tidy and a very pleasant place to catch 40 winks. The food has been exceptional and is only surpassed by the outstanding staff, I reserve special praise for (apologies for forgetting your name), the young chap behind the bar who's head is close to the rafters, very polite and funny, the lady manager who, even though I look like I'd been dragged through a hedge after 17 hours of work, and didn't fit the nice atmosphere, was witty and kind, great Christmas jumper too, but special mention to Monica, the lady at breakfast service, always a smile at 7am and makes the best latte around. Have a good Christmas, Gabriel.”
“Welcoming and cheap! The place has tons of character and is a bit of a local legend, most bristolians have ended up here at some point in their life and personally I find it has a certain charm!”
“We have just had the most fantastic meal here! Roast turkey was amazing, vegetables wonderful! Service was excellent, Carlos looked after us so well and we were a big noisy group!!! Perfect family Xmas celebration.. Can highly recommend ❤️ Come to this place Bristolians!!!!”
