βWe didn't call in to the cafe but the building is lovely and the location speaks for itself.β
βI had the most delightful experience at The Hideout Lounge for lunch today! From the moment I walked in, the friendly service made me feel right at home. The staff was attentive and genuinely welcoming, ready to assist with recommendations and ensure my visit was enjoyable. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the steak sandwich. It was nothing short of mouthwatering! Perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and juicy, bursting with flavor. Each bite was a heavenly combination of textures and tastes, sandwiched between fresh, crusty bread that complemented the filling flawlessly. The ambiance of the lounge only added to the experience, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for savoring such a delicious meal. If you're looking for a place that combines excellent service with phenomenal food, The Hideout Lounge is a must-visit. I can't wait to go back for another round!β
βFantastic cafe, great food at a good price and really lovely staff. Simon was exceptionally good with all the customers, even finding a bear eye mask for a little boy who came in with his Mum. The young man who served me was very friendly and the young lady looked up an said goodbye as I left - rare to find such lovely staff these days. I highly recommend this cafe and I especially recommend the huge custard slices!β
βLunch for four. All of our meals were really good quality and generous. Nice selection of fresh vegetables. Friendly service. Varied menu. Could not fault. Will return.β
βWe stayed at this delightful hotel for just a few days and will return again. Breakfast was great and so was dinner. Itβs centrally located in the town so you can walk to many places. There is just one concern we had: all rooms are one to two flights up with no elevator.β
βGenuinely tasty food all round, friendly service in a proud family setting. A real community assetβ
βThe best hotel easily. Lovely accomodating staff, lovely food, real quirky place. Character by the bundles. And a sticky toffee pudding that's to die for. Would recommend to anybody. Parking for any sized vehicle, including hgvsβ
βWe had an excellent stay here in a camper van on our way back from Pembroke dock to London. The really friendly welcome and good food were great and the use of a shower and loo 24/7 are a splendid extra to have. It is so refreshing to find a pub that it still a pub and not a wannabe coffee shop. There were a couple of other campers parked up too and the atmosphere was family friendly and quiet. I'd recommend the Olway Inn for a visit with or without staying the night.β
βAbsolutely delicious, and a fantastic spot! Also, really really good coffee. The one-pan dishes are wonderful, we tried the meneme and the spinach dish, and it's a huge recommendation for both! Thanks so mcug to the long bistro team!β
βIf you happen to be in Wells or Radstock, or have stayed in The Little Shire, then donβt miss this very nice and relaxing restaurant. The staff and owner are all friendly and the place is warm and homely.β
βWhat a meal! Fantastic staff - attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. We had around 7 plates, wine and beer - Nothing but positive things to say - The best Tapas we have ever had! There were four of us seated outside on a summer eve. A beautiful town and this must be their gem - We will definitely be returning - Thank you!β
βGreat little restaurant, booking recommend at weekends. Our waiter was fantastic. Kindly fitted us in between bookings as we had no reservation. They don't advertise a kids menu but will do nearly all the mains as a half portion, which is basically half the main bit (meat/fish) and just as many chips and sides. Service speed was spot on and the waiter was attentive enough to know we mattered but not so much he became annoying. Children really liked the imported Greek sour cherry fizzy drink. I highy recommend the burgers 'not in a bun'.β
βFantastic, 10 out of 10. Very delicious food, excellent chef. Good quality ingredients, great quality meat. I would go as far as saying the best meal I've eaten to date. Lovely decor in restaurant, recently decorated. Car park, with ample parking. Staff very friendly & accomodating. Prices average, but worth it.β
βZalshah in Burnham-On-Sea is highly regarded for its Indian cuisine, offering a blend of traditional and modern dishes prepared with the finest ingredientsβ
βWe ate here on a Thursday night. The food was fantastic and certainly not expensive. The menu choice was really good, and the quality and presentation was great. It's our favourite Thai restaurant and we'll definitely go back.β
βThe food is delicious! The service is also very good, the waiters are very friendly, all plates arrived without delay (hot and fresh) and we thought is pretty affordable! We are coming back!β
βLovely local cafe in Shirehampton with friendly and efficient service. Food is beautifully presented and very tasty! My brunch was a potato rosti, smashed avocado, lovely golden halloumi and eggs in a balsamic glaze, cooked to perfection. Ideal for young parents, friends, families and couples to hang out! Popular in the area and thoroughly recommendedβ
βItβs hard to find a unique shop like Beyond Retro within Bristols city centre! I went in here the other day and was served by the lovely Rachel who helped me find the perfect pair of Leviβs jeans. The atmosphere was great with classic old hits playing in store. Great customer service and a shop I would recommend visiting to find great true vintage.β
βDown to earth, relaxed atmosphere..... Lovely place to get tea and cake on a busy Saturday afternoon. Whilst I'm not a vegan, I was greatly impressed by the flavour and quality of the food options. The place was lively and fun; made a very enjoyable pit stop.β
βLovely relaxing morning and perfect colour. Hair looks lovely & shiny for Christmas! All the staff there are lovely and super nice results.β
βWow what a great little venue. This is my 2nd time at the Jam Jar seeing the Fantastic Supalung. Such a friendly vibe. Very cool stage with underwear theme. Can't wait to go back again.β
βThis place is such a gem. I've eaten here twice now, both times sat outside which feels like being on holiday when the sun is shining. The food is incredible. You can tell that a lot love and care has gone into it, with lovely, friendly service too. I normally order a noodle broth when I have Vietnamese food but I was more adventurous on my last visit and went for a fish dish from the specials menu. I'm so glad I did because it was one of the tastiest meals out I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend.β
βThe Robin Hood is a very special pub with very special owners. Itβs always cosy, has excellent service and great food. If you want a fab range of drinks and a good time, Iβd definitely recommend!β
βThe warmest of welcomes today, my first visit. Landlord so easy to talk to and find out more about this very very traditional english country pub. Food still being served at 15:00 hours Sunday. Menu was basic wholesome food, unfussy but sure to satisfy who like pub grub. Does a good trade from locals and passers-by. A few real ales, three thatchers, two lagers all on draught and guinness. Small, cosy, chatty. Glad we tried this one. The landlord is especially friendly. I sometimes find small pubs a little intimidating but we were offered a table from one of the locals and loved the local atmosphere. Meals and desserts generally range from Β£5 to Β£14.β
βWent on Sunday morning to nurse my hangover and I'm so glad I did, I had the veggie breakfast and it was delicious. Proper filling, yummy dish and the staff were all lovely. I felt 50p for a slice of toast was maybe a bit cheeky but I can't really complain as it's an independent restaurant and the cossie livs init. This will end up being my go to weekend spot I'm sure.β
βReally nice fish and chips here, plus the added opportunity to eat in - which we did. No difference in price, all served on plates with proper cutlery. Nice choice to have. Chips are perfect. Cod bites and scampi are delicious, chicken and mushroom pie is a favourite, very tasty.β
β25 of us went for a birthday meal last night and everything was exceptional! The staff were super friendly and attentive whilst the food was phenomenal. Thoroughly recommended!!β
βGreat little place, staff were welcoming and friendly, food was fantastic. My first time there but will definitely go back. I had the honey chicken & pistachio dessert.β
βFor our anniversary, my wife and I ventured to Hat Bistro, a family-run gem that stole our hearts (and taste buds!). From the moment we walked in, the warmth and hospitality were undeniable. We were lucky enough to be seated at the chef's table as well. The entire wait staff deserves a standing ovation. Our waitress was an absolute star, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and attentiveness. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly demeanour made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The barman was equally fantastic, crafting cocktails that perfectly complemented our meal. But the true star of the show was the food itself. Each dish was a revelation of fresh, authentic flavours. It was clear that love and passion went into every creation. We lingered over every bite, savouring the moment and the delicious food. Hat Bistro isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a delightful evening out. If you're looking for incredible food, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, look no further. We can't wait to return!β
βFood delicious, staff attentive and excellent VFM. Enjoyed our dance group Sunday supper because of all of the above. Terrificβ
