“Ambience of the restaurant was very nice. We had steaks and onion soup, it was so good, I had the best steak ever. Manager their Pratik who was taking care of our table was really good, and he suggested us really nice wine which went really well along with our steaks. Mind blowing knowledge about the and it's history.”
“Had my first Cafe Rouge breakfast here today. Food was great and had a perfect Mocha to go with it. My server Zoe was also fantastic. She was really friendly, quick service and very welcoming. Which is blooming impressive for first thing in the morning. Well certainly be back.”
“Delicious high quality food! Made and prepared with a smile. They accept card payment and are generous with the portions. This is the salad box, don’t mind the presentation as it bounced around on the way home but the flavors were incredible!”
“Absolutely outstanding creative take on East African food in a great atmospheric central Bristol venue. So many enticing dishes on the breakfast and lunch menu. It was hard to choose but the Hillib cinnamon + black lime brisket, bis bas, fresh cheese, pickles + pitched egg on sourdough will be hard to beat when I come back. It was bursting with warm spice and zesty flavours. Chefs kiss!”
“Cool spot! Love the decor - a touch expensive but to be fair the portion was massive, the chicken fell off the bone Service was good although is cash only, free shot of rum at the end Caribbean lemonade was basically a mojito without alcohol and very nice”
“OMG. The best meal and the best experience ever for an amazing meal. The chef, Gordon Jones, is open, fun and super talented. The courses are ever changing and a surprise when you show up. Only after the meal is complete so you get a copy of the menu. It’s expensive but worth it.”
“Glad I tried this, very nice food, fresh ingredients, friendly service, I would recommend the falafel wrap it was really good”
“Authentically french! Stunning food and the staff are all very friendly. I got the confit duck which was incredible. We also shared pates to start. They fill up quick here so definitely book ahead!”
“Great food and guys. Love the tacos and chilli cheese burger.”
“Review by Benjamin Chappell, age 9 (wannabe food reviewer). I came to the Falcon Steakhouse with my mum. I ordered the Falcons Famous Dipster Steak Sandwich and the death by chocolate cheese cake, it was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and was soooo tasty. The cheesecake was incredible, my mum had to say “Benjamin stop licking the plate”. We couldn’t fault a single thing!! Thank you.”
“Unbelievable experience. Lucky and Carlos are the two kindest people I’ve ever met. Service and food were amazing they were very attentive and couldn’t do enough I’d recommend this restaurant over and over again. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and they made it a night we’ll remember forever.”
“Well rated for a reason! An amuse-bouche welcomed us to the table with warm bread, and so began one of our better dining experiences to date. To start we opted to go for the specials of crayfish ravioli with prawns, the tandoori lamb chops, with a cheese souffle to share. Each dish was superb and the ravioli in particular couldn't be faulted, with my wife opting to make sure to clean the plate for them! The portions were generous and beautifully presented. The mains, a fish pie and duck special, with a passion fruit sauce and fried polenta. Both dishes were mouthwatering and too good to leave anything behind, leaving us well fed and ultimately content. The cocktail selection was refreshing and offered options we may not otherwise have opted for, and offered a fresh complement to our meal with a good selection of wines on offer. We visited on a Tuesday evening which we imagine to be a quieter night and yet a few tables and gentle chit chat filled the cosily decorated dining area. The servers were attentive and delivered with a smile and made us welcome, surprising us to finish our meal with a small chocolate mouse to congratulate us on our recent marriage.”
“Went on a Monday night. Able to get a table for 5.30pm on the same day. Never knew vegetables could taste so good. Delicious and flavourful. Staff were polite and friendly. Consider sitting outdoors as it is an open kitchen.”
“Stumbled across this cafe on Gloucester Road in Bristol. This place serves the most amazing breakfasts and brunches, and the cakes...oh my! It's all just delicious. Fed's service team is super friendly and makes sure you enjoy your dining experience. I’d recommend you drop by Fed 313 sometime. Accessibility Rating ♿️♿️♿️♿️ as the space between tables may not be sufficient enough to easily navigate a wheelchair.”
“Rooted is an all around incredible place for food, the menu is super creative and full of choice! However! Their vegan roast is literally the best roast I’ve had in Bath, and I’d go as far as to say the best roast in the South West, get one, you won’t be disappointed ❤️”
“Beautiful spot with amazing food and service. The river view is so relaxing, and it’s tucked away from the busy part of Bath - such a hidden gem for brunch. Highly recommend! This restaurant truly made our day during our visit to Bath.”
“We visited Castle Farm for Sunday lunch for the second time and it was fantastic again! The food was plentiful, delicious, and perfect for sharing, and the team were so friendly. The sticky toffee pudding was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! We’re already eyeing up one of their curry nights or Malaysian brunches, as we’ve heard amazing things. An absolute must try!!!”
“Popped in while traveling. Arrived not too long after opening and were seen immediately. All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food we had was out of this world and everything we saw others ordering looked just sublime. We had the swordfish which melted in the mouth and everything comes with veg and both roast and dauphinoise potatoes. If you have the chance to eat here, do so you will not regret it.”
“A great little spot in Wotton! A friendly welcome from restautanters who really care. We went in on Monday Mexican Night with a small menu that was spot on. Great flavors and if I was local I would be back! Thank you”
“What a find! A gorgeous intimate restaurant in the centre of Cheltenham, quietly serving up some of the best food in the area. There were several of us so we had most of the menu between us and every single dish was a winner! The wine list is brilliant and the house sparkling wine is divine! The service was utterly charming and we felt very looked after. Thank you!”
“Such a lovely and calm place with a friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely excellent!”
“We ate here while waiting for our tyre to be changed after getting a puncture on our way to our holiday destination. The food was delicious and the service was great. Thanks for making our pitstop enjoyable!”
“Simple menu but the food did not disappoint. Experienced the shared starters followed by shared 500g sirlion Hereford steak with fries and salad. Terrific. Deserts were e excellent and finished off the evening perfectly.”
“We had a truly exceptional dining exeperience. It was our anniversary dinner, my husband requested we have a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival which was very kindly prepared for us. The occassion was acknowledged throughout our meal, with a “happy anniversary” message on our dessert plates. Such a lovely touch. Staff were incredibly friendly and knowleadgeble, we felt very well looked after. We started with the selection of breads with soft basil butter. It was a great variety of fresh bread and breadsticks. We both had the scallops for our starters, a nice mix of well balanced flavours and excellent nduja! The mains (duck, venison) were perfectly cooked medium rare with lovely sauces and flavours. The only item we would skip next were the confit potatoes, which unfortunately were undercooked and did not have much of a taste to them. Our desserts were a tiramisu and the pistachio eggnog mousse, both perfectly light and not too sweet but well balanced. We finished our meal with limoncello (as you do). Everything was top quality and full of flavour. The wine selection was interesting, great variety especially on the bottled special wine list, with very reasonable prices. We went with their recommendations for each meal and the pairings they suggested were great. The restaurant is on the smaller side and the table we were seated was on the smaller end, however this did not take away from the enjoyment. We could tell how serious they take their food, service and customers. The restaurant is expensive but you get what you pay for. We can’t wait to be back.”
“This place continues to be the best fine dining experience around. The menu is compact and exquisite and everything is cooked to perfection. The wine list is very comprehensive and advice is offered on pairing with the menu. All in all the best place to eat in Thornbury.”
“We tried Domaine16 for their Bottomless Raclette. It’s safe to say I definitely over indulged… The new potatoes were absolutely delicious on their own, let alone with melted cheese on top. The meats and pickles on the charcuterie board was also really tasty. We had a side of baguette and even that was delicious. Service was impeccable and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We finished with the chocolate fondue which was also delicious.”
“Super cozy and tasty coffee shop! we had a weekend breakfast and it was super fresh and tasty!! Super fast and friendly staffs :)”
“We all had a fantastic evening at the Pear Orchard (The Hollow) Myself and my siblings arranged a surprise Anniversary for our parents 55 years! The evening was perfect in every way. Highly recommend venue. The memories we made and the fun we had in a hidden gem in Kingston Seymour will be treasured forever. A special thank you to Ed Catherine Mia and the team along with my lovely family who helped me to make this happen. Forever greatful Jo xxxx”
“It was my first time eating at Kasbah Grill and I can’t describe how incredible the food tasted - bursting with flavour and so colourful too! You can tell it’s freshly made with perfect spices, will definitely be coming back! The owners were chatty and super friendly too, see you soon!”
“My sister and I came here for some lunch prior to visiting an event. With such a pleasant atmosphere and amazing food, I feel this deserves a 5 star review. We were served by a beautiful, young lady named Aylin. She was ever so kind and welcoming, making our experience all the more satisfactory. All of the staff present are very customer focused. There was chilled music playing in the background of the lovely, relaxed dining area. We ordered the meze and the dishes were served in a very timely manner and tasted absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I really enjoyed the chicken souvlaki. Dessert options really caught my eye, and we were not disappointed! They tasted phenomenal; particularly the Baklava which I would definitely try again. Would recommend this excellent Greek bar and restaurant to anybody in Bristol :)”
