βCame here at 7.50pm they finish serving food at 8pm, fair play they did cook for us. Simple food cooked well at a cheap price. Drinks were good, service very good and the atmosphere was good with friendly people. The worser half really enjoyed his burger. We will call in againβ
βI put a very large order in for 16 people for a staff meeting. The team were brilliant, when we got the food back it was all hot and everyone had the correct order (rarely happens with a large order). Staff were lovely and even double checked the order. Thank you!β
βSo despite being put in a difficult position by the previous owners and not being aware of my booking , Colin and Tara honoured the booking and were absolutely fantastic! We had a lovely buffet for my son's Christening, staff were all lovely and helpful... nothing was too much trouble. They are more than happy to have a chat and make everyone feel welcome. We will be back to have a roast as they looked fantastic! Thankyou all for making today as stress free as possible and I wish you all the best for the future of the Fox & Maple β€οΈβ
βOmgβ¦ seriously the best steak I have had in a long time. My wife and visited here for the first time on hearing other reviews. We both like a good steak and usually have the ribeye. We both have our steaks cooked differently where my wife has hers well done, no pink, and I have mine medium well. Both streaks were of a nice size and cooked to perfection. The steak comes with a choice of potatoes and sauces. Both with a decent size portion and tasted great. They easily lived up to the reviews that I heard and created the a lovely evening for my wife and I. Service was great and free parking just down the road. Thank You The Golden Lionβ
βThe welcome was lovely by the very well trained, personable staff. Excellent views of the golf course & add on top of that the gorgeous food & wine. Thank you for making it a throughly lovely afternoon xxxβ

βHad a fabulous Latte here, not bitter as some coffees can be. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Will defo come back for more and reasonably priced.β
βThis was a very good find, it's one of those pubs that's close to Bristol, that you drive past. The welcome and service were genuine and good, it's a local pub that welcomes dog's and walker's. A really great place to stop for a coffee, drink or meal. We will be back Still good in July 24β
βAn amazing place for a Sunday roast. Menu is brilliant and service is 10/10. Food is delicious and huge portions. We will be back! Love the location and views, easy parking.β
βStopped off at Frankie & Benny's this morning, had a gluten free smashed avocado. Staff were really good with my allergy, reading the allergy ipad thing was abit annoying but everywhere does this now. Miguel was fantastic looked off his feet but still went the extra mile. Overall great experience will visit again next time I travelβ
βHad a lovely meal there, I had Bacon & Avocado Sandwich and Bob had Ham, Eggs & Chips. They were both very generous and really good. Also at the time they had a big Gromit hiding outside.β
βI love this bakery, they offer a range of pastries, including doughnuts, cakes and cheesecake. Fresh bread rolls and bread they slice for you. A range of hot pasties, sausage rolls and pies. Fresh sandwiches and rolls hot and cold made to order while you wait. Hot and cold drinks available, along with the option to sit in and eat. The staff in there are always polite, ample parking outside, worth a visit!β
βI was looking for somewhere to seat twelve, last minute, on a Saturday evening. The Wheatsheaf stepped up. Great service, delicious food, good beer, and twelve of us looked after brilliantly. A first class βfindβ, We will come here again.β

βA fabulous food and drink stop, right by the water's edge. Superb, friendly and efficient staff dish up great tea and coffee (plus other drinks) with a great selection of snackable food including burgers and their famous bacon and egg roll. Truly good value with fully loaded rolls (or bread if you prefer). Fabulous!β
βWeβve been going to Bottelinoβs regularly for their roast, and it never disappoints! The food is always amazing β full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and consistently one of the best roasts around. Andy deserves a special shout-out as he always goes above and beyond to look after us. His warm, attentive service makes every visit even better. Highly recommend!β
βRooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a stay (including Ironing board, Iron and hair dryer). Food was excellent and served in a timely manner! Although it's on a main road, the car park is easy to access, and very large, and the road noise does not affect the rooms, restaurant, or bar area! All the staff we met, from the receptionist, to the bar staff and servers, and the cleaning staff we met in the morning, were very friendly, helpful and added to a very enjoyable stay!β
βThis pub had a really welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and kind. We got the wrong order, but it was sorted out straight away, and the lady apologised profusely. We also got a complimentary cocktail at the end.β
βWe had a meal here a couple days ago and couldnβt fault anything especially the service, our waitress was excellent. Our waitress made everything easy from ordering food/drinks, to paying the bill and even recommended a dish of the menu which was delightful. We stayed for a few drinks afterwards in the drinking area. The atmosphere was great and wasnβt to loud or to quiet, a very welcoming establishment and lovely bar staff. The biggest plus is there is a great choice of lager/beer. All in all a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone.β
βI'm so happy this fully vegan cafΓ© is on the campus! Everything is really tasty. The only thing that's missing, for me, is something like a buddha bowl - more nourishing than a salad, but healthy. They have delicious salads and comfort-style foods.β
βIt was a brilliant experience at Agape House Cafe. A warm and friendly welcome by the proprietors made us feel at home. The food was fresh and delicious. In addition, the presentation and atmosphere were top notch. You left an excellent impression of Bristol on a first-time visit.β
βHonestly great place for food. Always tastes good hot and fresh staff are lovely and it's one of the last places that have really good prices what would cost me 20Β£most places costs me Β£7.80 can't go wrong.β
βWe enjoyed our fish & chips sat outside on the picnic bench near the car park. We had stopped at Salt & Malt for lunch while walking route 28 (Chew Magna circular walk) from the Nigel Vileβs excellent book: Pub Walks near Bristol & Bath. The chunky chips were fantastic and the battered fish and halloumi was delicious. Service was prompt and we didnβt have to queue or wait for long despite it being busy. Plenty of bins located nearby and very clean toilets; hot water, soap and hand dryer. Highly recommend a visit!β
βExcellent pizza. One of the best in Bristol. They have a good lunchtime offer!β
