“Lovely pub, we found it by accident but what a find. Great banter with the guy behind the bar and he couldn't do enough for us. When the food arrived it was delicious, the burgers are incredible. Highly recommended, can't wait to go back.”

“Lovely place for lunch, super warm welcome and friendly staff. The place was spotless (this includes the all important loo), the loos are upstairs and there is another with disabled access on the lower floor. We popped in for a spot of lunch today, I wanted Westons Vintage Cider but they were all out so I had a hot chocolate, my wife had Elderflower crush. For food we had a Twisted Chicken Club and the Mediterranean Mezze, they were both very nice and I for one will certainly be having the Mezze again when we re-visit in two weeks time. We got a table right away at about 1230 but soon after it started getting busy although I never saw anyone unable to get a table. There are two levels and an outside roof terrace which looked good (weather permitting). Keep up the good work people, we'll see you again soon.”

“Impero Lounge is right on the High Street in the heart of Portishead, perfect to stop in before a jaunt around the harbour. They’re on a corner with huge floor-to-ceiling windows (that open right up) wrapped around two sides, flooding the vaulted interiors with light. There’s a lovely terrace out the front too, perfect for watching the world go by. They’ve a fantastic range of food and drinks (including full kids, gluten-free and vegan menus) served in this relaxed, welcoming space. Look out for their mural celebrating Portishead’s old power station and lighthouse. Which is apt, as they’re a bit of a powerhouse and a shining beacon for the hungry and thirsty people of Portishead.”

“Posting this a little late. It's a nice cosy location to stay in, chose the location en route to another city. The rooms were neat and clean, had all the basic facility and the staff were friendly. The breakfast deal was good value for money and was very nice.”

“The building is quaint, just sitting in there is a lovely experience. Good chance you have wait to get in as it is pretty busy. The soup was very nice, the buns were also rich and tasty, we had 3 different types and all very happy with it. Meal deals are worth considering. Their tea is excellent, worth buying the leaf tea in the shop in the basement. Bathroom was sliglhly neglected in the rush hour, but otherwise a memorable hour we had there.”

“One of the best Ivy locations in the UK—not just in terms of ambience, but also because the quality of food is spot-on. The service is impeccable, and the restaurant is right in the heart of Bath city centre. It’s buzzing throughout the day, and whenever you walk in, it’s always busy. Every time I’m in Bath, I make sure to have at least one meal here. Reservations aren’t required in the mornings, even on weekends. Breakfast is served until 11 am on weekends and until 11:30 am on weekdays, with an excellent English breakfast available.”

Picture this: you're sitting in a comfy armchair, surrounded by warm lighting and stylish decor, while the boats gently glide past outside. It's pure relaxation. The service was exceptional – not just friendly, but attentive in a wonderfully pleasant and unobtrusive way. You can really tell the staff love what they do. We worked our way through the drinks menu and were delighted by the quality and selection. The Locksbrook Inn is more than just a pub; it's a proper retreat where time seems to slow down a little. I wholeheartedly recommend it!”

The food and staff were absolutely first class, so much so that we returned again this evening just for drinks! A special mention goes to Lottie, the manager, and her wonderful team. We witnessed how professionally and calmly Lottie handled a minor altercation. She diffused the situation with ease and complete professionalism. It really showed the high standards of service at The Limehouse. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to Clevedon. Highly recommended!”

“Been passed here several times, but never had the opportunity to call in - had a middle breakfast and a cup of tea and it was really delicious - do not need anything for the rest of the day Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable - can ger busy with builders but treated myself just before Christmas As an old Filtonian I remember when this was a newsagent so was good to catch up with the staff who had also been there a long time but the café has been there for a long time Well worth a visit - car park and bike racks nearby”

“Popped in for a pint and a band were playing "Bombshell" who were amazing! Seemed like a good venue for live music, hope they get more like that, it was really good! The locals seemed like a good laugh too and everyone was having a great time. Friendly staff too and very fast service.”
