“We recently had the pleasure of staying at The bath Spa Hotel, which as always didn’t disappoint. As always it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how luxurious and welcoming everything is. The suite was absolutely stunnin, spacious, elegant, and beautifully decorated with every detail thoughtfully considered. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the room were just breathtaking. We truly felt like we were in a five-star sanctuary. We took a dip in the outdoor pool which was incredible. The food was another highlight of my stay. Every meal was a delight! Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the quality of the dishes was exceptional. What really made this hotel stand out, though, was the staff. Every single team member was so friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly set the tone for the entire experience. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and top-notch experience. We will be back!”
“Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.”
“What an exquisite building, and it's many uses, steeped in history, before being adapted to this wonderful restaurant! The first time I'd been recommended by my Daughter and her husband. I went to Bath for a two night stay with two friends, who also had not visited before. We all agreed it was a fabulous evening! It was most certainly a treat, likewise was the food! The Sunday roast was very tasty and with unlimited yorkshire puddings & gravy. We did book our table. The service was swift and attentive!”
“Birthday dinner at Bath Pantry this evening. Fab-u-lous!! Astonishing food and fabulous service.”
“Lovely tea and afternoon in the beautiful gardens”
“Very comfortable and tidy to sit inside or outside with family. The, staff are respectful, responsive and friendly caring Moreover food is fresh and delicious hence the rating”
“I gave a 5* because I love Waitrose! My toastie was okay and the cappuccino was fine. A very clean and airy place. Relaxed atmosphere! The service was good and friendly. It is very convenient and simple for meeting and catching up with friends. All in all, it always had a good visit here!”
“A wonderful place - I can't imagine being in Bath again and not staying here. It's clean, beautiful, and the service is top-notch, unmatched anywhere else. I had a lot of heavy luggage with me, and the staff helped me to deal with it. Plus, there's a beautiful common area that helps you meet some fantastic people!”
“This notification suggests this is about the café inside the reception area of Bath College, although the part I'm filling in gives no clues... So I'll review both: Briefly, although it's a little disorganised, everyone's very friendly and they make a big effort to be helpful and fix things, and they're good at finding the staff responsible for the area of concern. As a brief look around the library confirms the academic range & depth is deliberately limited to concentrate on introductions to specific subjects, so they can concentrate on helping in very specific ways and not get bogged down. They have an impressive range of services not related to coursework, to support students, including help with health, finance, travel to the campus, and any other barriers to learning; and this goes beyond and in addition to the usual public services. Eg, if you can get help with a disability on the NHS but have to wait a bit longer than practical, you can get that help a lot faster as a student. A local student pass also gives you discounts at businesses outside the college, and qualifies you for NUS membership, which gives you an even better range of discounts, eg on Amazon products, and the student edition of software licences. The discounts and services do not discriminate, so you're eligible for support & subsidiaries outside the days/hours you normally attend, and the subject areas you're studying. Back to the café area: There's a café atmosphere in the reception part for meetings etc, with a counter service, and that's very light & spacious, with comfortable seats & tables, and a high quality & range of food & drinks. There is also a section serving meals, although that's currently restricted due to infection control and improvement work.”
“Sometimes you feel compelled to write a review. We had a last minute stay in Bath and were looking for an affordable, decent hotel close to bath but not in the centre. We found it with the Wentworth House Hotel. From the free parking, late-ish (arrived in darkness) welcome after a long drive and some good directions to our forward destination we knew we'd chosen well. Yes, there are some low star reviews for this establishment but I wonder if they picked the wrong hotel. If you're looking for swish, silver service with mints on your pillow and uniformed staff - keep looking. If you're looking for a clean, good, honest 'head down tummy full' stay, they this is perfect. Which brings me on to the breakfast - splendid stuff. Freshly cooked (they asked what time we'd be sitting down for it so it could be timed perfectly), it was hot, tasty and plentiful. And oh my, that sausage... So in list form and to conclude - free parking, lovely building, well kept facilities, a bar, good size room (with toiletries), a fabulous view, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and just 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. (Take the bus back - a tip from another review and well worth doing - it's a long hill after a big meal). Thank you WHH - we'll be back.”
“Doesn't look very big from the outside but it's actually a decent size. Well stocked and a good selection of vegan food. Great location, right in the centre of Bath.”
“OMG. The best meal and the best experience ever for an amazing meal. The chef, Gordon Jones, is open, fun and super talented. The courses are ever changing and a surprise when you show up. Only after the meal is complete so you get a copy of the menu. It’s expensive but worth it.”
“Delicious food in this cosy venue! Had high expectations based on the reviews I'd seen and this definitely lived up to them. The main downside was we were too full to order more dishes! The mushrooms were a highlight, perfectly crispy without being oily. Nice cocktails too.”
“Rooted is an all around incredible place for food, the menu is super creative and full of choice! However! Their vegan roast is literally the best roast I’ve had in Bath, and I’d go as far as to say the best roast in the South West, get one, you won’t be disappointed ❤️”
“We visited Castle Farm for Sunday lunch for the second time and it was fantastic again! The food was plentiful, delicious, and perfect for sharing, and the team were so friendly. The sticky toffee pudding was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! We’re already eyeing up one of their curry nights or Malaysian brunches, as we’ve heard amazing things. An absolute must try!!!”
“Super cozy and tasty coffee shop! we had a weekend breakfast and it was super fresh and tasty!! Super fast and friendly staffs :)”
“Came here a few times and it’s a great crafty place! Good selection on keg and a good fridge full for everything else! Lovely chilled out atmosphere… highly recommend”
“Fantastic family run business, fish and chips are great and Nicky’s homemade chilli is back! All cooked to order and super fresh. So lucky to have such a great take-away in the village.”
“We stayed at the Kennard Boutique Guesthouse for two nights and had a lovely visit. The check-in was super smooth even though we arrived late. The rooms were super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. All of us agree that the hotel breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the city centre. The neighbourhood had loads of great restaurants and felt safe in the evening. If we visit Bath again we will definitely stay here.”
“The food was good and the place was nice enough but what really made it great was the service. The people working there are kind and friendly and did their best to make it an enjoyable experience.”
“I enjoyed the night I stayed there very much. The rooms are immaculate and nicely decorated. The house is very quiet and have a lovely lounge and dining room. The location is close to Bath and some very nice villages in Wiltshire and those areas.”
“Colonna & Small's – what a beauty. I ordered myself an iced oat milk latte and it was just the thing for the summer heat. The plain croissant and the chocolate one were both buttery, fresh and absolutely delicious. The vibe is minimalist and it’s definitely a must-visit. I only wish I had more time to sit and work from this lovely café, enjoying their excellent speciality coffee.”
“My partner and I have been here many times and we absolutely love it! The views from the outdoor seating and beer garden are lovely anytime of day, especially in the summer, making it the perfect place to relax with a few drinks. The inside seating area has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for the winter, with friendly and professional staff. The food here never disappoints, with a wide range of choices, all of which are delicious! A special thanks to the Chef, Matt behind the bar and Kim who served us for the 5 star service. Thank you again to the team at The George Inn, we will be back again as always!”
“We had accidentally booked for the wrong day and they were very accommodating considering our mistake............I will say, it was Absolutely stunning. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. It wasn't cheap but then we didn't expect it to be considering how beautiful the food was. Was lovely to actually be able to talk to the chef himself and was very approachable. Thankyou for an unforgettable experience!!! Darren and Sarah”
“Loved the experience. The menu is carefully crafted and very interesting. I particularly appreciated the breadth of gluten free and GFOA options. Staff is kind and accommodating. A must-visit when in Bath :)”
“It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.”
“Amazing food! I had the scallops, then duck, and then the chocolate ganache to finish - all dishes were very delicious and cooked well. The cheese board also has a great selection of cheeses, and they give you a mountain of crackers. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone!”
“Really lovely little cafe. We found this place online and loved the look and the vibe. We arrived around 10am and were seated pretty much straight away. Don’t be fooled if it looks full from the front, they do have a few tables hidden around the back. The service was really quick and friendly and the food tasted very good. We had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup along with an order of poached eggs on toast with a side of avocado. The food was served fast but we didn’t feel rushed to eat and leave even once finished we were left to chat until we were ready to go. Overall I’d say this was a great place to stop for brunch.”
“Absolutely superb all round. The pub is full of character and warmth, with a beautiful garden and amazing countryside views. The menu is simple, refined, and consistently excellent. And Felix was outstanding. Friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive … truly memorable service in a wonderful setting.”
