“What else could we possibly say except PERFECT! Claire was a wonderful host meeting us when we arrived and giving a lovely friendly welcome. We travelled as a family of three with another couple, so probably a little small for our group, but perfect for a small family. The little galley kitchen was well laid out and had everything, just small given the beautiful quirks of the old building. It is also so close to everything and we enjoyed a short walk into the city centre everyday! Claire sent a link to the Bridgerton self-guided walk through Bath & my sister-in-Law and I had an absolute ball. Bath is sooooo very beautiful and well worth a visit, especially in winter when we went. Thanks Claire! From Shirralea from Tasmania Australia.”
“Fantastic stay, I'mpeccably clean apartment, everything you need for a short stay is at hand, and 2 minutes down the hill and you're in the centre of Bath. Highly recommended. Parking is a nightmare but that's the same everywhere in Bath, its not a criticism of the apartment at all.”
“Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.”
“We had a great experience with Bath Student Rentals. Tom was very kind and helpful”
“While many estate agents said they’d follow up with new listings, Jenny was the only one who actually did. She stood out for her optimism, honesty, and genuine commitment—exactly the kind of person you want on your side when navigating a competitive rental market. Although we ended up renting through another agency, Jenny made a lasting impression. When we're ready to buy in a few years, we know exactly who we’ll be reaching out to. Highly recommend!”
“Wonderful two nights at the Rudloe Arms. A very unique hotel and each room is different in the manor house. Super cool furniture and photos of beautiful people on the walls. The food was great every night as well as breakfast. The staff went far and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Stephen. He moved my father to a room that was easier for him as he is 85 and not very mobile. We came back and all bags were moved and taken care of. It was my father’s birthday and they made a special desert for him. Incredible grounds as well, just a really special hotel. Will be back!”
“A warm welcome awaits you here. With well kept rooms and a nice choice of breakfast to eat in you room. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, we will definitely return soon. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Only a short walk into the city centre.”
“Amazing place to take the family. It is very spacious and has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The only problem is that it is in a bit of a awkward place. Other than that, I highly recommend going here.”
“Amazing Location. Beautiful space.”
“Sometimes you feel compelled to write a review. We had a last minute stay in Bath and were looking for an affordable, decent hotel close to bath but not in the centre. We found it with the Wentworth House Hotel. From the free parking, late-ish (arrived in darkness) welcome after a long drive and some good directions to our forward destination we knew we'd chosen well. Yes, there are some low star reviews for this establishment but I wonder if they picked the wrong hotel. If you're looking for swish, silver service with mints on your pillow and uniformed staff - keep looking. If you're looking for a clean, good, honest 'head down tummy full' stay, they this is perfect. Which brings me on to the breakfast - splendid stuff. Freshly cooked (they asked what time we'd be sitting down for it so it could be timed perfectly), it was hot, tasty and plentiful. And oh my, that sausage... So in list form and to conclude - free parking, lovely building, well kept facilities, a bar, good size room (with toiletries), a fabulous view, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and just 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. (Take the bus back - a tip from another review and well worth doing - it's a long hill after a big meal). Thank you WHH - we'll be back.”
“Great place to stay. Excellent location within easy walking distance to most attractions.”
“I can't believe why most reviews are low. It's Value for money accommodation. Highly recommend for budget stay Pros -Breakfast is also included. - Plenty of parking spaces available - Room is better than most Travelodge/ Premier Inn - lots of storage spaces, there is a study table, chair as well as it's designed for university students - Check in and reception was smooth. Cons - Bed is 3/4 of a King size but it did not matter to us as it's a comfortable bed, many have pointed it as a negative aspect but practically it doesn't matter unless both are very huge adults.”
“Pippa and her team are brilliant. They have organised a number of trips for us as a family to Portugal. Fantastic hotels that were just want we wanted and amazing ideas and suggestions of what to do and where to go each time. They created some very magical times for us and I am so incredibly grateful. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip.”
“Amazing experience! Perfect setting. Perfect location. We stayed in Dolly; tidy, clean and nicely equipped with all amenities. Hot tub was fantastic, I would recommend lighting on Friday if you’re staying the weekend, it gets very hot and was just right for Saturday morning and stays hot. Jane was the perfect host, showed us to the accommodation when we arrived, along with some recommendation. We went swimming in Cromhall Quarry which was a wonderful experience, 100% recommend doing this, but make sure you have a personal buoyancy aid as you can’t swim without one.”
“Gorgeous building & grounds, fabulous hosts, and easy access to bath. Everything that you'd want & expect from a B&B. The included breakfast in the orangery is a nice touch.”
“Visiting for my Husbands birthday for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was so lovely, spacious, smelt gorgeous and over our expectations. The owner was so helpful who we met. We knew the breakfast wasn’t being served before we booked due to renovation, but they had left fruit, treats etc which I thought was lovely. The place is at the top of a huge hill, but we drove down into town and paid to park there. If you don’t mind doing this then it’s not a problem. Would definitely stay there again!”
“Wonderful find tucked away in a residential area 10-15 walk from the town center and train station. Stayed in the twin room which was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. The en-suite had a good shower. It was very quiet at night, so we had a great nights sleep. The manager is very friendly, and breakfast is superb. Would definitely stay here again. The B&B is a converted house, so clothing and luggage storage space in the room was a little limited. This was fine for a short stay with overnight bags, but would have been a bit cramped if we were traveling with larger luggage.”
“This is a working farm, but the welcome is warm and rooms comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. A real homely feel.”
“A unique and really special place to stay. Richard the charming owner is very welcoming and has so many great stories to tell about the history of the house. We had a wonderful night's sleep in a huge and comfortable bed followed by a delicious breakfast. I hope we can come back one day.”
“My cousin and I stayed here this past week during the Jane Austen Festival and we could not have picked a better spot! We stayed in the building overlooking the square in a second floor room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well appointed. Our room did not have AC but thanks to the fall weather, we were very comfortable with the windows open at night. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. We did not want to leave and will absolutely stay here when we come back to the festival!”
“I've only stayed for one night but I was very happy with choosing this place. It is clean and the room was lovely. The staff was very nice. If ever in Bath again, I will consider staying here.”
“Very comfortable hotel, close to downtown. Enjoyed the lounge, room very clean and quiet, breakfast was excellent. Made to our order. Great staff. I recommend staying here.”
“A really pleasant and well run guest house/B&B. It is a 15 minute walk into Bath centre but sits close to wonderful parks and country. There are also bar, restaurant and convenient shopping facilities nearby. The room was spacious with a really nice bathroom, luxurious linen and towels. Very, very clean. really made to feel welcome without being intruded upon. Excellent place to stay!”
“We have just enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Leighton House Hotel. The room was brilliant (15), the staff very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent both days. The walk into the city centre was easy and only 10-15 minutes. Coming back is definitely a taxi ride. But we would thoroughly recommend staying in this beautiful and well appointed hotel”
“Stayed her with the girlfriend for four days whilst we explored Bath and surrounding area. Mainly chose it because it was one the the few B&B's that offered a destination charger which we booked for the first and last night of our stay. Very convenient and meant we didn't need to rely on public chargers while in Bath. Rooms was very nice, breakfast was good with a choice of continental, cooked, or salmon/egg choices. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again.”
“Great place to stay in Bath. Only a short distance from the centre, lovely rooms and a good breakfast to start the day. Highly recommended.”
“If you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.”
