“Beautiful property that feels serene and peaceful. I loved feeding the farm animals one morning and sitting by the ponds surrounded by beautiful trees and hills. My room was lovely and had everything I needed with nice extra touches and welcome basket. Highly recommend!”

“We lucked into the most magical day on our Cotswolds tour with Chris as our guide! What to say? We were excited for it but the tour so exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. Chris brought us to several villages-- and on the fly curated the trip around our expressed interests and those of the additional guest (who was also an amazing human and like a friend by the end of the tour!). He is unbelievably knowledgable. But what sets Chris apart is the way he distills complex history into an understandable story that very quickly facilitates enhanced appreciation for the deep significance of these places beyond their obvious beauty. I took pages of notes and came away with an intense desire to learn more about the place and British history. As an added bonus, Chris is funny, witty, helpful, kind, and interested. He is passionate about history and traveling and that all just enhanced is story telling. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Chris for that gift. On the more business like side-- pick up was prompt, van was great, water appreciated, tea and lunch spots authentic and wonderfully charming. “Amazing location for walking. The friendliest of welcomes. Very nice setup with guest area for making drinks and also a nice place to sit and enjoy the views, and on this occasion the new lambs. Everything you could need. The room was beautifully decorated. Dinner was by far the best quality of the whole trip. Hearty portion too. Immaculately clean rooms. Breakfast was carefully prepared according to request taken the previous evening. If you’re looking for a standout stay we suggest you book now.”

“Everything about the apartment was five star. The customer service was excellent, very informative and made the whole checking in and checking out process easy. The location couldn’t be more central. You don’t even realise you’re slap bang in the middle of a city centre as it’s still really peaceful. The apartment itself is immaculate. It’s spacious, luxurious, and had the best terrace with the most incredible view over the cathedral and hills in the distance. You get so much more for your money than you ever would in a hotel. I will definitely be booking again.”

“We stayed here for one night as we were travelling down south for a wedding. Communication with Pauline was fabulous and the room was absolutely lovely with everything we needed and there was also a kitchen area and a lounge area where you could get tea and coffee. Bed was very comfy and room was very cool which was needed as it was very hot outside. Pauline was very welcoming and helpful and the perfect pit stop for us. We would definitely recommend.”

“Excellent well appointed studio apartment in Bristol, with a lift. Easy check in with codes texted before arrival. Easy to find next to Brewdog yet lovely and quiet due to cul de sac location. So near to town attractions. Great open plan apartment with comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Would definitely stay again.”

“Lovely place. You'll find in the kitchen everything you need. Bed are super comfy too. Set of towels are provided for each person. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Very clean. A bit far from Bristol town centre by walk but if you have a car it is only 15 minutes drive.”

“Lovely and remote venue located in a fantastic surrounding. Fully equipped for all your needs and all the rooms having ensuite was a fantastic addition. We walked up to the temple inn for food which is about a mile away. Will definitely plan on returning in the future.”

“This was our second Christmas stay. 3 years ago Christmas Day was pretty chaotic but overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we were quite happy to go back. The room, the service, the staff, the restaurant was excellent. Christmas Day service from Buddy The Elf (Cosmin), Alessandro (Alex) and *all* the staff in the restaurant was superb. I rarely write reviews and am accustomed to moaning about lack of service these days so feel duty bound to say a really big thank you given that we were so well looked after by everyone at The Hotel du Vin Bristol City. “Stayed at Mr Darcy's House for my hen do and we all had an amazing time. The house was perfect for a hen do and we loved used the basement bunk room space for the evenings. The house was clean and nicely decorated and I would highly recommend it. Minnie was so helpful over email and there were nice special touches on our arrival which made it feel really special!”

“My partner and I have stayed here twice now and it never disappoints. This week and back last year for a city break. The staff there are always welcoming in a friendly manner. The rooms we stayed in are always clean and presentable too. The hotel is in a perfect spot of the city because you’ve got Brewers Fare next door, close to two shopping centres, restaurants, a Odeon cinema up the road and lots of nice destinations to visit for tourists. I totally recommend it!”

“This was our second stay at the fabulous Bristol Hotel. My wife had recently fractured her ankle, and this was her 1st trip out of the house in weeks. The reception staff were amazing. They changed our room to one a lot more usable for someone on crutches without us even asking us. The restaurant and bar staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us to make sure my wife was comfortable and could get around easily. Great choice of food and drinks, and the service was excellent. The rooms are luxurious, clean, and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The rooms come with everything you need for a great stay. Would we stay here again.......... YES We would like to thank all the staff for making us feel welcome and looking after us.”

“My nephew and I used this hotel as our base during a trip to Bristol. The location is the best. We had a 2 room suite and it was fantastic. The most comfortable bed and pillows ever. We also had access to the executive lounge, this is a fantastic added extra. Great space with snacks and drinks (including beer and wine at night). The exec lounge also included a full breakfast. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“The apartment was absolutely perfect. It was roomy, very clean and had everything anyone could need. The bathroom was very nice and warm and the shower powerful. The towels were very fluffy and the shower gel and shampoo smelled divine. The bed and pillows were so comfy too and the TV has a very high quality picture. As for the location it was perfect. In a quiet area just south of the river, not in the Ulez zone but only 6 mn away from the centre on foot so you can safely leave your car at the flat in the private parking bay. All in all we had a fantastic time and we would definitely recommend you stay there.”

“A hotel where you can take your pets! This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, well laid-out and a decent size. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking at the nearby Millennium Square car park is discounted and the buffet-style breakfast is plentiful and delicious.”

“A decent hotel with a good standard. My room was lovely and clean. Teas and coffees. All pretty standard stuff. The staff were lovely and very helpful as my card key played up on one occasion. Would be happy to stay again Worst I can say is no free parking. Bit it is the city centre I suppose”

“Amazing experience staying here! Staff very friendly and helpful and also non-judgemental (as we turned up head to toe in Halloween gear aha) and no one batted an eyelid. Our room was clean and well laid out with comfy pillows and good room temperature settings. The hotel feels very fancy and well put together and for the price is amazing value for money.”

“Very nice, cheap and friendly hotel. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes, but when we said about it they where very quickly to change it to another room, with a better view and with neutral smell. They did confuse our breakfast ( which was included with a room, for one night, for 2, 70£ ) but to fix it they gave us extra food. Was lovely, would definitely recommend it, if You don't want to break Your bank and still have a cosy night.”

“We had breakfast this morning and I can only praise the staff on reception and in the restaurant. They were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much bother. My husband had a lovely cooked breakfast which he said was one of the best he had! We are all quick to criticise so it’s nice to be able to compliment staff who were so helpful and I told them so.”

“Service was immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were amazing. Reception staff went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Room was spacious and had a great view over the water. Close to the city centre everything was a stones throw a way. The pool closed the week before we came which was a little disappointing but didn’t really affect us as there was plenty in the area to do. Thanks to the Holland House team for making our weekend so amazing.”
