    Almondsbury Interchange Hotel

    ★★★☆☆ 3.4
    Open

“A last minute booking for one night on 1st December. The room was large, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Proper blackout curtains and decent windows meant the room was dark and quiet. An iron and an ironing board were a welcome sight, as was the large shower. Staff were friendly and attentive with a good sense of humour. Nit picking would say that there is a £3.00 charge for parking, and for some reason Google Maps took me to a different hotel several miles away. All in all though, a good quality, well priced hotel and recommended.”

    BS2 Lofts

    ★★★☆☆ 3.8
    Open

“We rented in this building for just over a year. It's a lively neighbourhood in the summer months with people cooking outside and celebrating time with friends and family which was always really nice to see. I saw that there was a mention of a lot of noise in previous reviews; when my tenancy started there were a few Air BnB's making noise but once we contacted the management company this was dealt with promptly and didn't happen again. For the rest of my time there, any noise that I did hear was what you'd expect if you're living above and below people. Bike shed did get broken into but again, the management company sorted this quickly with new locks and it didn't happen again. I had lovely neighbours and everyone in the block was a part of a Whatsapp group which gave the place a lovely community feel. The flats are big and bright and have a lot of character which I really liked in comparison to other places in Bristol. The location is absolutely brilliant with some great bakeries 2 minutes away, Cabot Circus on your doorstep and easy access to other areas like Montpellier, Cotham, Redland, Clifton, the harbour and the Bristol to Bath cycle path. St Pauls is a diverse neighbourhood with a great buzz about it; people are friendly and there's some beautiful green spaces close by too. I'd definitely live here again, sad to have left.”

    K's Apartments

    ★★★☆☆ 3.7
    Closed

“K's Apartments have been a great choice for my family. The apartment layout is smart, maximizing space and natural light. The facilities, including the gym and common areas, are always clean and well-equipped. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that parking can sometimes be a bit tight. Otherwise, everything else has been excellent, and we love living here.”

    St. Andrew’s Park

“I took my nephew to this park today and it instantly hit me with a wave of nostalgia. This was the very same park I used to visit as a little one with my family. I remember happily walking down Happy Lane, a narrow footpath decorated with creative artwork from amazing people, though sadly a few have vandalised it with white or pink scribbles. It’s an incredible place that holds so much sentimental value for me. My nephew had an amazing time and especially loved the swings. I was glad to see they’d kept the splash pool too. I have fond memories of splashing around in it as a kid, and seeing him enjoy the park made it feel like my childhood smile had been passed down to him. It’s funny and beautiful how life works sometimes. Nostalgia truly is a gift.”

“Blaise Castle is a hidden gem in Bristol. The stunning landscape and picturesque surroundings make it a perfect spot for a leisurely walk or a family picnic. The castle itself is charming and steeped in history, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. The grounds are well-maintained, and there are plenty of trails to explore, making it a great place for both kids and adults. The views from the castle are breathtaking, especially on a clear day. I also loved the nearby café, which has a lovely selection of snacks and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's a great place to unwind after exploring the area. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Blaise Castle if you're in Bristol. It's a wonderful blend of nature, history, and tranquility!”

“Very nice park within the city. There is a free car park, big, open fields, a lake, a river and plenty of woodland. Especially good to visit now in the spring as you will see ducklings and baby swans in the pond. You can also walk along the river, surrounded by trees. It's a very busy place, lots of people with dogs so smell is not the best.”
