“What an incredible visit to the John Wesley Museum! So powerful to walk through the history and realise just how far the Methodist movement has come. The space is beautifully preserved and really brings his story to life. It’s interactive, thoughtful, and actually great for kids too a brilliant way to engage all ages in such a meaningful legacy. The fact that it's a boat makes it unique and the location is fantastic. The upper deck has a nice lounge area and there is free hot chocolate and other things in the back. “Another place I was sceptical to visit not being sure whether it would be my thing or not but believe me when I say they have something for everyone and you can easily kill a couple of hours here. If you have any older family members it’s well worth taking them for a trip down memory lane. I brought a coach group here and the staff were amazing and made everything so easy. On site cafe with good food at an even better price. I was so impressed with the place I brought my partner along to see it on my day off”

“The tower is worth the 10min walk from the bottom. The stairs are a little tight but when you get to the first floor, the view is spectacular, with information about locations and their direction. The second floor is a bit tighter, only for one person at a time but again, the view is spectacular.”

“Beautiful walk or cycle within easy reach of Devizes (which is also nice for a wander). If boats are travelling along this stretch of canal it's great to see the technology in action enabling them to travel up/down hill. Great day out with a nice cafe at the top of the hill, enjoyed by the whole family, the kids even managed to get in on the action helping boaters through the locks.”

We found ourselves discussing how authentic the flavours were and the menu allows for lots of different tastes. In our experience the cost represented excellent value and especially because it was an all round great experience.”

“This is a really impressive mansion with some incredible grounds and plantings for flowers around it. If you’re in the area and have the time I think you would really enjoy it. There’s apple parking. It is about a 10 minute walk from the parking area to the house in 10 minutes back”

“I stayed for one night, and it was my first time doing so. The property is very well decorated and appointed and well as being very, very clean. Check-in was simple, and the lady checking me was brilliant and helpful. The rooms are well above average. The pillows, quilt, towels, and accessories are all of a very high quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay, and I will do so again.”

“Had a great time staying here! The owner, Sharon and Glyn, were super welcoming right from when I arrived and made me feel right at home. The room was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, and equipped with good WiFi. Even though it's on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet. The whole place was clean and tidy, and I loved having the dining area with a microwave, kettle, and fridge to use. Breakfast was simple but good with cereals, bread, tea, coffee, and juice available. All in all, a really comfy and hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“Really enjoyed Being Mr Wickham. Adrian Lukris created a compelling life story of Mr Wickham. The rogues really do provide the backbone of any story! We loved the hour of stories. He told tales that painted the picture of key points in Mr Wickham's life. Loads of research and wordsmithing were honed to perfection. The Q&A after was also illuminating. Hos fans are very clever, articulate people.”

“Really really nice spot. Great views from the top of the bridge and surrounding Bristol. The cave was very fun too. Very good for the price (£3 each).”

“Went to priors woods with a public transport where we got off at station road on the bus. It took us about 15 minutes to the starting point of the woods. Initially you can still hear the traffic but as you go in further you will be in the wonderland of blue bells! We went there when it was rainy so definitely needs a hiking shoes that are rain proof. The blue bells were absolutely beautiful!!! Highly recommend to see them :) Some of the paths are less labelled so having more signs could be helpful. There was a big tree that seemed to have felled recently on the road so we could not have done the whole path but other than this great walk :)! Highly recommend :)”

Super convenient and perfect timing. The potato itself was generously filled and came with a decent-sized side salad, which was a nice touch. Tasty, satisfying, and great service. Will definitely be back!”
