βThis was such a great tour! Dan was a fantastic driver and knew a lot. I appreciated that he pointed out landmarks on the drive and how organized he was. The bus departed and arrived on schedule and everything went smoothly. I felt that two hours at Stonehenge was the perfect amount of time. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know that wants to visit Stonehenge!β
βWith only a short amount of time in Bath this weekend, we were advised to join one of the Mayor of Bathβs Honorary Guidesβ free walking tours, which depart from outside the Pump Room - which was an excellent recommendation. Our guide for the two-hour tour was Simon, whose enthusiasm, warmth, and depth of knowledge brought the cityβs history to life as we explored its back streets, landmarks, and hidden corners. He made a genuine effort to connect with everyone in the group, tailoring anecdotes and facts to peopleβs interests whether related to geography, culture, or simply where they were from. The tour was informative, entertaining, and surprisingly unique, especially considering the challenges of navigating Bathβs narrow lanes, busy roads, hills, and uneven pavements. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. We were also delighted and a little astonished to learn that the guides do not accept tips. Itβs a wonderful way to discover a city from people who share its stories purely out of passion for the place they call home.β
βSally is a wonderful taxi driver, friendly, professional and always ahead of time! I recommend her 100%.β
βAlways a lovely experience at Adam Lee. Great hospitality every time taking your coat and offering a cup of tea. Little head massage during the wash and then great service all around. Had Charlotte for a couple of years and is a fab and friendly stylist. Recently had April who is wonderful and really listens to your needs. Appreciate it can feel expensive but they use gorgeous products, have lots of experience and it's a lovely bit of self care every couple of months. Definitely recommend if you need a hairdressers in Kingswood area.β
βWhen a more economical private medical insurance was required to take over from a previous employer scheme, our financial adviser put us in touch with Excellect. Charlie Francis was extremely personable, helpful and knowledgeable in providing alternative policies, with 'The Exeter' subsequently offering enormous monthly premium savings for a policy very similar to our previous one. I will most certainly be delighted to recommend the services of Excellect in future. Many thanks!β
βLovely little place on an industrial estate in Bradford on Avon. I had the amber lager and hubby a Stout, really good and made on the premises. Really friendly staff that showed us to a bench alongside the canal. Definitely worth a visit if in the area. It's only a small place but packs plenty of punch.β
βWe went in travel agents today at knowle, Bristol, and was looked after by Lisa. We found her very friendly and helpful. We just couldn't thank her enough for all her help. Would definitely go backβ
βI can confidently say this is the best jewellers in Bristol. Brilliant customer service, Harold is a pleasure to talk to, and the shop has a great atmos to it.β
βKieran arranged our honeymoon for us and I honestly cannot recommend him enough. He took care of everything for us and made the entire process a breeze. I asked him a million and one questions and compared a bunch of resorts and flight options and he was always able to answer them quickly and correctly and we really felt like he got us the best of everything. When we got to the hotel it had been advanced that we were on our honeymoon and the staff had put a few little extras in the room which was a super nice touch. I would highly recommend getting in touch with Kieran and the team, they really put the magic into Magical Traveller.β

βWe had a wonderful night, full of laughs and so many magical moments... We visited with our 8 year old son who adored the evening. Billy Kidd was a wonderful host and amazing magician.β
βThis is a beautiful little hidden gem. We were nearby and put βcafeβ into google maps and found this awesome place. We came just before lunch service ended but nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect, gluten free and vegetarian catered for. Great prices and super chilled atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Highly highly recommended.β
βBrilliant Walk of Light. Worth the drive and overnight stay. Very cold though!! Did the tour on the tour bus. Not such a good view but felt better when we saw windscreen wipers being ripped off in the monkey enclosure.β
βWe visited here two years ago and wer impressed then, this visit did nothing to diminish that feeling. We really enjoyed the history of the Historic Dockyard and the SS Great Britain. The staff and volunteers are amazing and really friendly, plus the information they provided us was really interesting. The way it is layed out was very fluid allowing you to see an experience the life of this ship and the LIfe of Brunel. A must see when you visit Bristol.β
βAmazing bridge and history behind it, you will have to pay a toll to cross it in your car, and carpark spaces arnt great on other side, just next to the bridge is a path if you follow it up to the top you will arrive at a cafe and the cave entrance, but there is some great shots off the bridge from the top view pointβ
βLoved this place!! Tried the Falloumi and it tasted amazing. Would love to suggest this place for anyone who would like to try real Egyptian food made by lovely Egyptian people.β
βGenuine italian restaurant in central Bristol. We had focaccia as an entrance (there were several options), burro and salvia pasta, and porcini pasta. Both options of pasta were delicious, clearly fresh pasta, and complex flavors. The tiramisu was also great - they offer a βdessert of the dayβ and pizzas too which Iβm keen to try next time!β
βWhat a beautiful small village! Unfortunately I visit this place not on the finest weather but it still look extraordinary pretty. There is a big parking lot around 10 minutes walk from the village.β
βBeautiful gardens, lovely cafe, fun grottos. Lots of soothing running water inside and out. Do visit before they close for good at the end of September. Such a shame they're closing β€οΈβ
βYou cannot beat the Β£10 lunch deal. The value for money is astonishing. Freshly made pasta and quality ingredients cooked simply to produce great flavours. Staff are wonderful and the vibe is always good. Need I say more? The best around.β
βBeautiful setting, beautiful venue, delicious food, such a great find. Can't say enough good things. Had a lovely date night and will for sure bring back family and friends :) my new favourite place!β
βGreat place to enjoy a well made cocktail or whiskey. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made the experience an excellent one. Not cheap but IMHO money well spentβ
βBeautiful spot with amazing food and service. The river view is so relaxing, and itβs tucked away from the busy part of Bath - such a hidden gem for brunch. Highly recommend! This restaurant truly made our day during our visit to Bath.β
βWithout fail, it is always a fantastic experience. The film programme is expertly put together, ensuring something for everyone while remaining culturally stimulating and relevant. Independently run, this is the best cinema Iβve ever been to; itβs worth the 30-mile round trip for each visit.β
βSince having my daughter I've been here quite regularly for the baby/kids activities and we also go the mums meet up which is on every Tuesday. My daughter is a huge fan of the outdoor toys and the indoor climbing frame. The food and drink is always really nice and served with a friendly smile. It can sometimes be very busy and loud, but I'm glad I found it none the less!β
βWent to the tea shop for lunch today. Looked small at first glance and we had our dog but the ladies serving said they were dog friendly and we could take her up the stairs where there was extra seating. It was lovely and quaint and the food was fresh and top quality. They even bought treats for the dog with our lunch. The kids had cocoa art on their hot chocolate and there was crayons and stencils for them to create pictures whilst we waited for our food. Nothing was too much trouble. They were really friendly and asked about our holiday so far. Would highly recommend the scones my husband ended up having two cream teas they were so tasty.β
βGreat walk but the signage isnβt the best. Make sure you know your route before leaving! The views are incredible, we could see the Severn Bridge!β
βThe best place to have a great breakfast/brunch in Bristol! I absolutely recommend the pancakes, soft and delicious, as well as the vegan sandwich. The place is wonderful, it makes you feel at home, as well as the guys who work there, all very cute and kind!β
βVery nice hotel room. We had a twin which was on the second (top) floor. We hadnβt realised it was part of / above a pub. Our stay was midweek so it was quiet, it may not be at the weekends as we were above the street and entrance. Excellent service, nice room with little welcome gift. Nice and central for a visit to Bristol.β
