“£16 for the special halloumi and chicken burger with chips. Usually I expect either a small burger, or a small portion of chips. I have a big appetite and this portion was HUGE! The chicken fillet in the burger was massive, and the rosemary sea salt chips where perfectly seasoned and so crunchy. Lunch time special can get a single smash burger with the chips and a lemonade for just over a tenner. About £12 to double up (my cousin had that) Huge value for a filling meal, and it was really tasty as well.”

The tacos were soft but warm to a good temperature, generous fillings, and the toppings added just the right amount of crunch. The server in the black shirt (her name badge said shai) was amazing. The server was incredibly helpful, running through the offers available for us to get the best deal and saved us money, and even offered blue light discount without us even asking which was really appreciated. The grounds are beautiful, the view of the city is incredible, and the staff couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast and dinner were also great. The Wyndham suite and marquee are brilliant for a wedding, and the Countess and Marques suites are perfect bedrooms for the occasion. We would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding or just for a hotel getaway.”

“We have used Park Vets for the past 25+ years and always found them excellent. Over the last nine months our dog Harry who was 15 under went an operation on his neck. It was a great success and he bounced out of it, with a new lease of life. Sadly he was taken ill in July and it was decided he would have teeth out. Following tests it was found he was a very poorly boy. We made the sad decision for him to be put to sleep. Through all of this the practise were excellent, in particular Michaela made this sad process easier to bear. All staff were so lovely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.”

“Lovely 3 night stay at Staybridge Suites in Cardiff. Great location as it sits between Cardiff Bay & the City Centre. We stayed in a king suite overlooking the water. The bed was comfortable, bathroom modern, kitchen facilities available as well as a wardrobe, table & chairs, pouffe & plenty of storage space. Staff were all very friendly and attended to all of our needs. There's an onsite gym overlooking the water, a free laundry room to use, snacks to buy and a bar which connects staybridge suites with the Holiday Inn. There are social nights during the week and a den or food area to relax. Breakfast included. There were hot & cold options. Rooms were cleaned daily. Check in from 3pm and checkout at 11am. Parking available on a first come first served basis priced at £10 per day.”

When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. When I picked her up she went through everything, answered all the questions I had, and didn’t make me feel silly for being emotional. My little dog is my whole world, and after some previous dogs of mine had bad experiences with the vets they went to I was very nervous about this process.
