“Met some friends here who were visiting from Gorseinon. We made the most of the breakfast deal. I had a sausage sandwich (delicious) and a flat white. I'd say it's the best coffee on Whitchurch Rd. Nice, cosy atmosphere. Students were using the Wifi for study. My two-year-old was happily playing with toys provided. A warm welcome and a relaxing space. Well worth a visit!”

“Motel Nights was the perfect venue for my baby shower. We decorated it with lots of pink balloons, flowers and cake, and the staff (especially April!) were super helpful and accommodating. Everyone loved the cocktails and tunes. Thanks again guys!!”

“Wonderful pub in the lovely cathays. Great service from Izzy Taylor in particular, cracking up lots of jokes. My favourite from her in particular was “popped into a pub called The Flora — turns out it’s the only place where the drinks are well-rooted and the bar staff really know their stems.””

“Ten theater was absolutely stunning! I mentioned how much of an art work the theater was to a staff member and they were kind enough to give me a brief history on it. The auditorium is massive and I did hear someone mentioned how they were far away but that they felt as if they were close.”

“The food here was amazing! We all ordered the mixed kebab with rice and salad, portion size was generous, the meat was tender and full of flavour, and the price was very reasonable. It also came with fresh bread and lovely sauces. The staff were very friendly, we ate here on a hot day and they were very accommodating and moved their fans to suit us. “I'd been meaning to book Anna-Loka for some time after seeing it on Dirty Vegan and reading the positive reviews about the food there. My partner and I have recently gone vegetarian, so I finally booked us a table for our first vegan experience and it didn't disappoint. We had the sharing platter for our starter and the menanam burger for our main. It was quite simply delicious! The deserts were great too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service very swift. We left the restaurant feeling very content and will definitely be visiting again. Well done, Adam, you've created a fantastic little restaurant here!”

“A lovely lady called Paloma helped me decide what I might like. I'd never been here before, don't eat meat or fish and don't like my food to be very spicy. Faced with that, Paloma went through the options with immense patience, explaining what everything was and what might go with which. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was lovely. Top marks for quality and service.”

“We found this place on Google while staying at Premier Inn. A walk of no more than 5mins. A warm welcome,restaurant was very clean and tidy. We were treated as honoured guests,staff courteous and friendly. A bottle of Pinot,a couple of lagers sipped while we waited for dinner. Garlic bread for 2 , lol,,,its huge,dripping with butter,hot cheese and lashings of garlic. The olives where lovely. Spag bol was rich and tasty. Lasagne was luscious. Seafood linguine was sublime. Deserts ,lovely ! Fabulous evening, very reasonable and a huge thank you.”

“This pub is fantastic. I had such a good evening/night here. The atmosphere was brilliant, the staff and owner Gareth were all great and made me feel very welcome (even though I wasn't drinking!) There was live music last night and people queuing to get in, they have various things going on and a huge array of locals from all walks of life; young and old. I highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed. John and Gareth I look forward to seeing you soon...keep that water coming!”

“Our very first experience of rock climbing and we had an absolute amazing time, me and my 8 year old son had no previous experience my son was given an introduction which he loved! Our friend who is a qualified climber/instructor met us there and stayed with us both until we left 4hours later we will definitely be back! We had so much fun highly recommended”

“As a regular who’s come here almost every week for 2 years, I can say that this is easily my favourite place in Cardiff! They have very knowledgeable and passionate (not to mention kind, friendly and hilarious) staff. The interior design is immaculate and the atmosphere is always perfect! They also host great events with live bands/comedy. It’s on the pricey side, but I think it’s worth it, especially hearing the owner’s exiting plans for further renovations! It’s also dog friendly :) It’s a great spot to study, but there are limited tables that allow laptops, so sometimes it gets tight for workspace. Also there’s no free wifi at weekends. This is just because the turnaround got real slow - since it’s so nice, people wanted to stay and study all day (us included!). The rules for laptops and wifi definitely help the atmosphere, because it keeps the place more social! They also sell great beans that they roast here, and coffee equipment :) Our favourite things to get are the vegan chocolate cake, the toasties, lattes, and V60s!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bigmoose Coffee in Cardiff is an absolute gem! As a non-profit coffee shop, they not only serve delicious food and drinks but also support a great cause. We tried the Avocado Co Bagel, which comes with avocado, mozzarella, tomato and bacon. It was perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty. The mocha we had alongside it was rich and satisfying. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delightful meal and a chance to contribute to a good cause. Will definitely be back!”

We always love the food and service is consistently brilliant, however today in particular was really busy, but Lille was attentive, kind and was still smiling and chatty despite the rush. “A very nice vegan/vegetarian cafe, the food was lovely and well presented with beautiful fresh ingredients. Lovely staff. The residential Tom cat is very precious over its domain and has no fear of having a go at your dog. Staff quickly got him inside with a bribe so calm could be restored. A lovely little place for a coffee and bite to eat.”
