“Our campervan (converted ex DHL 2018 MWB Sprinter) needed some work to several parts of its body and we contacted almost 20 body shops over the South Wales area. We ended up getting ghosted by so many after they inspected it when we were chasing quotes, it was driving us insane. This was until we rang Cardiff Autospray who were in the middle of moving premises to a bigger facility in Penarth. We met Leon and he came back quickly with a detailed quote and was able to answer any queries we had with zero attitude. Leon and his team did an amazing job and is one of the few car bodyshops that can handle high roof vans. We also recently got our car repaired by them and again did a cracking job. “Genuinely the best garage I’ve ever used. I had an issue with the electronics on my Nissan leaf. They were transparent from the start . Great communication. Incredibly quick with the repair. Detailed invoice, reasonable price for the work carried out. The auto elec/engineers/ mechanics obviously know what they are doing. My car was in better condition being picked up than when it went in. Attention to detail (the latch on my glove box had been broken for a while and I noticed it was repaired when it came back, even though that wasn’t the repair it went in for) . The front of house lady was also excellent and pie hot on keeping me updated with everything. Can’t fault the overall experience. 100% would use again.”

They have replaced my output shaft and clutch with uprated ones from LOF - and the drive is much better. Ian always test drives them to sign off any work, and they proactively suggest preventive maintenance and reasonable upgrades. They are not pushy and give realistic advice.”

Just want to mention something novel, whenever I've taken my vehicle in for repairs or a service to this garage or to garages attached to main dealerships I have left £2 - £3 in coins in a visible location, John Dolbear is the only garage where not a penny has gone missing, in the other two main dealership garages all or part of the money has gone missing. I don't complain about the loss or even mention it, it's something I do out of curiosity.”
