“Been using them for many years and the service has been amazing. Just want to mention something novel, whenever I've taken my vehicle in for repairs or a service to this garage or to garages attached to main dealerships I have left £2 - £3 in coins in a visible location, John Dolbear is the only garage where not a penny has gone missing, in the other two main dealership garages all or part of the money has gone missing. I don't complain about the loss or even mention it, it's something I do out of curiosity.”

“Great experience and service from James and the team at Automotive Cardiff. I had a problem with my wiper blades right before the bank holiday, and was quite stressed as I needed to drive up to Scotland on the Tuesday. Brought the car in, James understood my short timeframe, diagnosed my problem right away, and offered a quick fix to last a few weeks that would get me back on the road. He also gave me a quote to replace the part, confirming with the supplier that they could get it and do it the next day (Friday) before the long weekend. I decided to get the part replaced and sort the issue for good. They had it done by the next afternoon and very kindly also topped up my oil, fixed something with my battery, and fixed a windscreen washer leak at no extra charge. Truly went above and beyond for me, even though I'm not local and sadly won't be able to be a repeat customer. Everyone was really friendly and easygoing, I felt really well looked after and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and reliable mechanics in Cardiff. Big thanks to the team for getting me back on the road – I made it up to Scotland no issues!”

“Our campervan (converted ex DHL 2018 MWB Sprinter) needed some work to several parts of its body and we contacted almost 20 body shops over the South Wales area. We ended up getting ghosted by so many after they inspected it when we were chasing quotes, it was driving us insane. This was until we rang Cardiff Autospray who were in the middle of moving premises to a bigger facility in Penarth. We met Leon and he came back quickly with a detailed quote and was able to answer any queries we had with zero attitude. Leon and his team did an amazing job and is one of the few car bodyshops that can handle high roof vans. We also recently got our car repaired by them and again did a cracking job.
