I am a 68 male who is petrified of dentists. I need a tooth out and you can imagine my anxiety levels were through the roof, the experience took two hours that’s how gentle they were, we go on about the NHS but I can tell you, it’s not the front line staff it’s the organisation that is broken. “This veterinary practice is brilliant! I have been 100% happy and trust them implicitly to care for my dogs. Today was no exception. I am currently fostering a mixed breed dog, Spotty, from Romanian (Amicili dog rescued). She is naturally a very nervous and anxious little girl. I have had her since 19/11/23 and while she has made a lot of progress, she remains naturally very fearful of unfamiliar people, barking and backing away from them. Spotty needed to be weighed for her flea and worming treatment, and a check over by the vet. I also took my spaniel Nia as company. Spotty didn't hesitate, as I had anticipated, going into the practice and I attribute this to the calm atmosphere of the surgery made by all the staff. I cannot thank the vet Mirac and veterinary nurse Tracey enough for their quiet, caring patience and the time they took to gain Spottys confidence. They were amazing, not just with Spotty but also Nia (whose mission was to snaffle any stray treats!). Mirac was able to examine Spotty. I was overwhelmed as I had anticipated Spottys resistance and the whole experience being stressful for her. I don't know how long Spotty will be with me before she finds her forever home, but if she needs to visit the veterinary practice again, I hope she will remember today's positive experience. Thank you all so very much.”

“Cannot stress how incredible the staff have all been during our recent trips. My 9 week old kitten recently became very ill and, as first time pet owners, we were really unsure and scared. The staff have been so kind, helpful and accommodating. At no point have i ever been made to feel stupid or like a bad owner for not knowing things, nor have they been condescending in any way. Theyve always explained things theyre doing and their thinking of what could be wrong. Its been a bit challenging as we havent been able to diagnose what the illness is, but i in no way blame the service for that, unfortunately sometimes it is that way. But thanks to the vets and nurses doing a great job supporting us and out kitten shes improving day by day! I phone the clinic each day to give an update on how our kitten is doing and every time they always seem so delighted to hear how shes progressing. Due to our kitten being so young her insurance isnt active yet, meaning all of this we were paying out of pocket. The staff have been incredible with this too. Theyve made sure everything they do has been within the means of what we can afford whilst still trying to solve the problem, theyve made us aware of all the options we have such as finance plans etc. and even then, i think the prices have been incredible. I was expecting to pay a LOT, and realistically weve spent less than a fraction of what i was told by friends to expect. The prices are great. All in all, id definitely recommend this vet and im so glad we chose this clinic! Bit of a long review but i really feel these staff deserve all the praise they can receive, im aware theyre “just doing their jobs” but i really feel like theyve gone above and beyond in regards to making us feel comfortable and supported :)”
