“Great takeaway. It is our go to for Indian food in Cardiff. Good selection of unique/special curries, as well as the standards you'd expect at a takeaway in Britain. They have a good website you can use to order so you aren't paying fees to deliveroo or uber. If you collect, you can almost always get your food in around 30 minutes.”

“Called at 4:30 for a quick collection and they informed me they didn't open until 5 but that's when I started work. After speaking to the chef they whipped me up a tray meal ready for 4:45. Even though the food was cooked on a time limit there was no compromise to the taste. Unbelievable service topped with quality food. Thankyou guys”

“This chinese take away in Cardiff is my favourite place to eat in the world. Firstly the food, its honest tasty and good. My comfort food is always, Pancake roll,fried rice or chicken fried rice if its my birthday, curry sauce and barbecued spare ribs. I always recieve a free something,prawn crackers or, " addictive fortune cookies"! Secondly the staff. As a customer, I want to be treated like I am special, with respect and as a friend and the staff here certainly show me that. There is a relatively new member of staff, cook, front of house, delivery driver and general all rounder and I love her so much! Her name is Ginney. She makes my life special and I love her so much!! "She looks after me" and I feel it. My top tip, the Pancake roll.I eat these where ever I find them in the world and this China garden Pancake roll is very, very special! Only costing a couple of quid,wrapped in a handy grease proof paper bag it becomes the perfect street food to munch on your way home.”

“We stayed at the White Lion over night recently & thoroughly enjoyed the visit. “Lovely food, friendly staff, food comes out very quickly. Had the chicken karage to start which was crispy and flavourful. Followed by the beef donburi which was lush - highly recommend. Dessert was a delicious scoop of black sesame and a scoop of coconut milk ice cream. Lovely end to a fab meal.”

“Eaten Sunday lunch here a couple of times. The food has been of good quality and I’ve always found the staff friendly. Ben who served us today was an excellent attentive host. “I had a wonderful experience at GDK! The food was amazing - everything was delicious and well-prepared. The rice bowl doner is my absolute go-to - I order it every time and it never disappoints! I also love the gym box, which is perfect for a satisfying and healthy meal. I was especially impressed by Zohra’s service. She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole dining experience even better with her personal touch. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does. “This is our go to place for food and drinks. Never kept waiting to be served. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive, Olivia, the assistant manager is particularly helpful, answering any questions with bookings and menu. Food is really good value and tasty with plenty of variety. I'm working my way through the menu, not been disappointed yet. Always a Great atmosphere. Deserving of a 5 stars”

“Bedroom perfectly comfortable and clean but could do with attention to dated window frames that allowed a little cold in. However, along with a standard radiator a freestanding electric one is supplied. Communal areas of reception, the bar and dining hall are all very tasteful. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff who are so obliging and friendly. A super breakfast with friendly staff sets each day off perfectly. The evening meals are of a very high standard all served with a pleasant rapport. We may have arrived curtesy of a bargain coach holliday but were treated like we arrived in a Bentley.”

“A quiet Monday after Christmas. Stayed for the night. Food was really nice and gotta say the barmaid was working very hard by herself. The manager also went above and beyond when I messed up my booking. Happily visit here again.”

“Phoned today in the hope they may have an item for my Mother, spoke to a lady called Andrea who was very helpful explaining there was a national shortage of the item. But unlike previous pharmacies I tried she explained about the minor ailments scheme and how they could provide an alternative item. Allowing me time to try and source the item.”

“We ordered online from the vegan menu & picked our order up. Food was hot, good quality & delicious, especially the veg korma & veg malai kofta. Not huge portions but what we ordered was plenty between 2 people, we preferred this as we normally have loads of left overs. Very good value. Would recommend!”

“We go to codmeston cafe regularly and have always been warmly welcomed even though I have a muzzled. Sometimes reactive to strangers dog. I recently read a review on here that said dogs were unwelcome when muddy and that the staff were rude, so I was reluctant to take my wet, muddy girl in - but it was raining hard, so I went for it. The second we walked through the door, my dog ran over to the manager and was greeted with such a huge welcome that (although she’s usually reactive with strangers) she was totally won over. The lady (who I later found out was the manager called Emma if my memory serves me correctly) was fussing her, tickling her tummy. Laughing and simply gave us the warmest welcome we could ever hope for. My girl had sausages and I had a toasted tea coke and the experience was lovely. I absolutely have to dispute any review which speaks negatively of dogs in the cafe. My experience couldn’t have been further from it.”

“We stayed at the Premier Inn next door & we came in here & ordered an all you can eat breakfast & beans on toast for my partner & they only charged us for the breakfast & it was all cooked to perfection. The staff were all very polite & helpful & they even offered us a few yogurts to take away with us which was a very nice touch. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. “ASDA in Weston-super-Mare is a large, well-stocked supermarket that makes shopping quick and easy. The aisles are spacious, the selection is wide — from fresh food and bakery items to clothes and home essentials — and prices are good. The store is clean and generally well organised, and the staff are helpful when you need assistance. Plenty of parking outside, which is a plus. A reliable place for a full shop or a quick top-up.”

“Service is great! Came here as a kid with my nan and it is very nastolgic! They haven't changed much in 15 years. It is cozy and feels like you're just eating at home! Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are fantastic. Love it! ❤️”

“We go every now and then, last time was with our 4 year old and 1 year old. The Staff are always very kind and caring and often bring a smile to our kids! We arrived Midday on a Sunday and we were able to sit down right away, food arrived very quickly as well. All 4 meals were superb. Micky served us, and we’ve had the joy of seeing her the last few times we’ve gone in, always lovely to see her and she always gets a smile out of the boys!”
