“We have been here a few times and never had a bad meal. We recently came on Saturday 15th and had a chicken curry and a lamb curry both with 3 sides each. Both meats fell apart and melted in your mouth! All the sides were delicious too, the pineapple salsa is Devine! We came again tonight and had a mid week roast, 1 beef and 1 belly pork, omg the dinners were both amazing and would recommend to anybody! Simon and his mum are a true vibe whilst waiting for the food to be dished up! We will be back soon, thank you!”

“We stayed one night to do the vineyard tour and tasting We decided to have lunch before hand, and it was so lovely to enjoy the sunshine and try some wines before hand. The lunch menu was extensive and the food was beautifully presented and very flavoursome with garnishes that complimented the dishes perfectly. We also join the restaurant for Dinner and again were not disappointed. My partner even had a birthday dessert cheesecake. Nothing was too much for trouble for any of the serving staff and the gentleman who greeted us was outstanding throughout our whole stay, unfortunately we didn't get his name.”

Lovely atmosphere and the owner and staff are wonderful. Tea and coffee and are decent and the homemade cakes and treats are outstanding. Support a local business, firstly because they deserve it and secondly because the chain shops and cafes will be fine anyway.”

“Sushi Plus in Cardiff is one of the best places for sushi lovers. The quality of the sushi is excellent – always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The menu has a great variety, from classic rolls to unique specials. The staff are friendly and provide fast, polite service. A clean, cosy spot that never disappoints. Highly recommended!”

“We had Turkish breakfast yesterday and it was really lovely and tasty breakfast. The staff are welcoming warm and friendly and the food is very authentic and so delicious. We had Serpme breakfast, including Omelet, Halloumi, fried eggs, Black and green olive, mozzarella sticks, cheese, sucuk, Beand, feta, Tahina&Molasses, Rosa jam, Honey, chips and salad. I highly recommend it and are looking forward to returning.”

“Modest café situated right on Barry Island seafront. I wasn't expecting much in the way of either quality or value. However I was very pleasantly surprised when my lunch arrived, to receive a generous slice of steak and ale pie which was absolutely packed with filling, a decent pile of nicely-cooked chips and peas, all served piping hot on a hot plate, just as it should be! It was also very nice that the gravy came separately in a jug with a lid, to keep the contents hot... brilliant! The staff were clearly working hard during lunch service and yet still managed a smile and to exchange pleasantries. I'll definitely be back, next time I'm in town. “It is our first time to try this restaurant for take away today. The staff is really really nice and friendly. We ordered three dishes and the price is incredibly reasonable. When we are back to home and taste it, I will say it is very fantastic and very delicious. It is very outstanding in terms of quality and taste, and I can say the taste is very traditional which is already very hard to find similar high quality dishes like these even in Hong Kong and China right now. I would highly recommend it to everyone and look forward to try other dishes again this week.”

“I came all the way from Manchester for my hair transplant with Dr. Ted Miln and needed a place to stay nearby. I was tired from the journey, so this place was absolutely perfect. The clinic recommended it, and it turned out to be one of the best places I’ve stayed in. Getting in and out was super simple and convenient with the passcode they sent. I was gutted to miss out on the restaurant since it was closed on Monday and Tuesday, but I’ll definitely try to dine in next time I visit when it’s open. The room had everything I needed — very comfortable, with great showers, and I really loved the interior. It was exactly what I needed to rest and recover after the procedure. The location is ideal too: just a 5-minute walk to the Co-op and a 5-minute drive to the clinic. I could see my car from my room, and the place felt safe and secure. Overall, one of the best places I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!”

A very friendly vibe with Spanish speaking staff only too pleased to explain the dishes and help you choose. Went with family and had a great time that didn’t break the bank. “Wife was craving sushi after giving birth and found this place on Google. Sushi is hard to come by and thought we would give this place a go. Very happy to say that we were more than impresses and loved it! We got it delivered and the hot sushi was still warm when we got it. The quality of the sushi rice was amazing, so soft and delicious that you can just taste the quality. The fish tasted lovely and we tried some of the vegetable sushi and it tastes amazing. The portions of the sushi was large and not what we expected, more than full and we'll worth the price paid. I even thought the price was reasonable but once we received the delivery we thought it was very well priced! 100% will be my go to place when craving sushi and will recommend to anyone. Very full from the experience but hungry to go again.”

“I use Zoe's cafe twice a week and the food is lovely. I ask zoe to make certain dishes to meet my dietary requirements and she is always very glad pull out all the stops for me. I highly recommend zoe's cafe who offers a wide variety menu. The gluten free scotch eggs are a personal favourite and the food always feels home cooked. Top marks”

“amazing, super friendly staff! i’m not really a coffee person but their hot chocolates are the best! and they’ve got a great playlist for the optimal chill coffee shop environment. one of the only places i don’t want to wear my headphones because it’s always a nice atmosphere, and super family friendly. (also, don’t pass up the opportunity to try any of the sweet treats!! it’s impossible to be disappointed :-))”

“Pim cooks really tasty Thai food. The menu does change, and you have to order ahead of time via text. We had satay chicken to start, the satay sauce was insanely good and the chicken well cooked and juicy. Dim Sum was tasty but paled in comparison to the satay sauce. Mains we had massamam curry, rich and deeply flavoured well it partnered well with jasmine rice. Also had tamarind duck which was absolutely stunning, juicy fatty deboned duck with a sweet sticky tamarind sauce. Had the coconut rice alongside this which was incredibly tasty itself. It's bring your own drinks, so you save a bomb if you fancy some wine with the meal. Pim loves getting the guitar out and signing for you after too! Highly recommend pims. Edit 2023: Pim has smashed it out the park again. This time I had Chicken Chilli Basil and it was absolutely stunning. Unbelievably good flavours. The Satay starter was again divine. Pim even did karaoke with us after!”

“A remarkable place, with space for exhibitions and art studios. They also serve (vegetarian) food during the day; but we were there for an evening event so I can't comment on that. But I'm impressed with the vision and facilities of Barnabas Arts House. I'm sure we'll be visiting again.”
