“This store caters for Muslims and is 100% halal. The food here was better than expected after planning to visit an alternative restaurant which was small and didn’t have enough seating. There was a party of 8 of us, there was plenty of seating at slam burger. Service was great, menu was easy to understand. Waiting was not an issue and a tag was provided and was ready to pick up when beeping. Restroom was pretty clean for the general area. And lastly meal was enjoyable for everyone except the chicken wings were a little bit on the salty side. Meal costs from £5-12 at time of review which was very affordable. People who leave bad reviews for deliveries can’t expect the food to be perfect… Overall very decent place to eat. Thanks!”

“Stylish, clean accommodation. Appreciated the room upgrade. Good facilities, great bathroom. Parking on street. Staff friendly, didn't eat, but cocktails in bar were well made and good value. However, for two night stay we only received £10 Gregg's voucher for breakfast. £2.50, not even sufficient for coffee and a roll. Please will the owners of the Bistro realise they could upgrade to a realistic value. Or maybe send customers to local cafes and thereby support local businesses. Maybe this could be reflected when booking i.e. an optional upgrade when booking online? Feel sure it would make the whole experience nearer the 100% I'm sure you all want and deserve.”

“My daughters and I have Paula cut our hair. Paula is amazing she listens to what you want and does it one of my daughters is autistic and she literally went from shoulder length her to a pixie cut and she loves it . My other daughter has really curly hair and she cut it really well with a little undercut it always looks amazing Paula not only fab she’s quick and great at her job”

“Wonderful 70th birthday celebration. Treated royally by professional approachable attentive but not overbearing staff who provided expert explanation of all courses appropriately. The flavoursome food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection everything was a highlight, high level cookery on offer, the Chefs at this establishment are top notch. My birthday experience was recognised upon arrival by our servers and enhanced sincerely with a superb miniature chocolate & passion fruit cake which I very much appreciated.”

“They recently upholstered an old armchair for me. I took the chair to the shop and chose fabric that was already there. I chose 4 fabrics and gave them artistic licence over how and where to use the different fabrics. The end result is amazing!! I am so happy with my chair and would highly recommend using them to anyone!”

“Update, we tried the food ourselves, it's gorgeous! Had the bolognese & carbonara pastas, and spicy chicken pizza so far. All three dishes were divine. The pizza is skinny, I'm a big guy, but it was surprisingly very tasty and filling. --- Had the carbonara pasta and tiramisu dessert, it was takeaway for my Dad, and he is very fussy, but he said he loved the food. So now I'm intrigued, I will order for myself soon and then update this review =) Cheers”

“I had a very unusual bed order, king size base in Newport East, accompanying mattress near Newport West. Beechwood Beds sorted it all out extremely efficiently. Courteous service, excellent product and they took old bed base and mattress away. Highly recommended”

“I've been to this restaurant twice and I would definitely visit again. The restaurant is very clean and spacious with a nice atmosphere, the customer service was fantastic and we were made to feel very welcome, the Japanese food was delicious and very good value for money with plenty of variety including vegetarian and vegan options.”

“The Cross Inn is a hidden gem in Cardiff! Stopped by recently and was really impressed. The pub has a great traditional feel with a modern touch – cosy, clean, and full of character. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere from the get-go. The drinks selection is solid too, with well-kept beers and a good variety behind the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out, and a lovely spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet pint. Definitely one of the better pubs around – will be back soon!”

“Bought a mattress from the store. Dennis was so informative with no hard sell at all. Having visited all the big names like dreams, elephant beds, Cardiff bedstore had the best mattress at the cheapest price. I think it's good to buy from the smaller local retailer. I will definitely return.”

“Delicious! This was our second visit. My boys were desperate to go back to their favourite restaurant. They had fresh and very tasty pizza (which they scored 500/10!) And I thourally enjoyed the chicken shawarma wrap and pot of tea. Really welcoming and helpful staff, easy to find, not too busy and gorgeous food.... we will be back!”
