“Visitied this place this week, was really suprised to find how great the place was run by the management team. A lovely friendly environment on my afternoon stroll i just happened to pop in and purchased some items, and being vulnerable myself i couldnt manage all of the items on my own back to my car, however the lovely lady with the tattoos managed to take the time away and help me. I will certainly be back again. Great customer service, and refreshing to see the younger generation helping us elderly folk thanks again. I didnt get the ladies name but wanted to acknowledge a great experience and say my thanks.”

“Contacted British Heart Foundation Coventry on Monday and they collected on Wednesday Morning. I had a lot of furniture, sofa, armchair, clothes, bedding, bed, washing machine etc, all in very good condition and all labelled with the fire safety notice. The delivery drivers took everything, only looked for the fire safety notices on the sofa chair and bed/mattress, they didn't mess about like others have mentioned. They were very friendly and moved everything with care. A brilliant service 10/10, they empty a house for nothing with the added bonus of helping a well deserved charity.”

Lance the fitter was next level, the intricacy and detail of his work was sublime and I would certainly recommend Hammonds to friends and family!”

“Kieran and his team of Nu Age did a fantastic job on our property. We wanted to have an air source heat pump but struggled to get an appropriate size which also would be exempt from planning commission. In our case it needed to be a bespoke system and they were able address all our wishes with infinite patience and great ideas how to implement them. They were not only focussing on the heating aspects, they took also care of plastering/woodwork/electrics etc. It was an all round package deal! . When we had an emergency later due to a fault of another handyman they responded within 3 hours and mended the leaking pipe for a very reasonable call out fee. Kieran also took his time to talk us through the heat pump system and how to use it. As our ASHP was installed in the summer we only noticed when 3 months later fwhen switching on the heating that it was not working properly. This was a fault caused by the ASHP provider (Valliant) as they provided a wrong installation plan. Kieran and his team were able to figure the fault out out by being in our property for around 4 hours while talking on the phone to Vaillant. This was of course all done without any additional fees. We have now our ASHP in place for around 5 months and it works as a treat. It is very reassuring to know that we have such a knowledgeable team in our area which is supporting us all the way through the process of getting renewable energy up to the very good aftercare Thank you very much!!”

Without appointment, I was welcomed by Mark, the franchise owner, who took the time to personally show me around and describe the product and service. Roula, the designer, deserves special mention. She certainly has a design flair and combines this with her product knowledge, practical suggestions, professionalism and patience as you proceed through multiple design iterations. She is talented, helpful and honest. The Schmidt process is clearly defined and works well with formal sign off of the design phase prior to order, to ensure no surprises down the line. The costing was transparent so you know all the elements of the project, not just a total lump sum price. Shelly overseas the whole project providing contacts for flooring, doors and other associated products, which was very helpful. Her sign off at the end of the project was very thorough. The quality of the product and the skilled fitting (by Sam) are both excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this Schmidt product and team.”

Tracey was super helpful, as were all the other ladies in the store. We had a good look round at everything, were able to try things out and also see if prams fit in the car ok.
