βBeautiful country park with stunning views and plenty of open space to explore. Perfect for a peaceful walk or a family day out. The large parking area is a big plus β no hassle finding a spot even on a busy day. Highly recommend for nature lovers and anyone looking to unwind in a scenic settingβ
βOne of our favourite walks around here, lots of open space, a lake to walk around, small play area and beautiful views of the castle. Free parking for a short time which is great. Looking forward to seeing what it's like when the new sports facility is open.β
βHeaded to this beautiful park for a concert July 2025 with a friend. The stage was set up near the tennis courts. The entry area near the stage was very chilled out and overall I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere seeing a relatively little known band (by UK standards at least). If you are thinking of seeing a performance at this park, I would absolutely recommend!β
βLovely place for a long walk with different types of deer roaming the estate, sheep, herons, egrets, ducks, pheasants and swans. The views across the countryside and neighbouring villages are beautiful. The house and surroundings buildings are well worth the visit. There are two cafes both experienced recently with slow almost indifferent service but food and drink were good.β
βLovely kurkure park with exceptional cafe!β
βOne of the nicest parks the UK has to offer. A varied collection of trees and flowers with incredibly picturesque scenery. Sitting in this park on a warm summers day really makes you appreciate this country.β
βGreat free place to visit to have a nice walk and sit and feed the ducks. You can park on the road near the entrance for free. I grabbed some swan and duck food from Purdy's pet shop in Coventry before my visit. The ducks devoured it.β
βLovely place for a walk and a picnic.β
βThe best place for swimming lessons. Lovely warm changing rooms and pool. The staff are brilliant and always greet us with a smile. Our teacher Becky is the best! We would never go anywhere else.β
βLovely little park, child and dog friendlyβ
βSome what hidden gem, very relaxing place to walk about.β
βFabulous teachers and great facilities! Everyone is friendly welcoming. My little boy has been swimming with Swim Works from 4 months old has learnt so many new skills and has a great sense of confidence in the water because of the fabulous team β€οΈβ
βLovely day at the Leamington food festival, plus great entertainment in the bandstand but I'm biased as my family were playing! Great choice of food stands and lovely ambiance.β
βThis park combines modern style and wild nature. It is very well maintained. The morning and evening singing of birds is fascinating. Migratory birds find rest here. I recommend visiting this park and enjoying the rest in nature.β
βCan't rate there as I didn't have any, but the atmosphere and drinks were great, thank you 5 stars from meβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ
βDraycote Water is a fantastic place for a family walk. The path around the reservoir is well maintained and offers beautiful views all the way round β perfect for a relaxing day outdoors with children. Parking is very easy here, with plenty of spaces available, so thereβs no stress about finding a spot even on busier days. After a walk around the lake, itβs great to treat the kids to ice cream on site β a perfect way to finish the visit. Itβs a lovely spot to enjoy nature, spend time with the family and get some fresh air without having to travel far. Highly recommended for a weekend outing.β
βFantastic gem of a site. We initially chose this because they would accept our XL Bully as many sites don't. The staff are extremely friendly and many of the visitors are regular and repeat campers and we can see why. It's far enough away from major towns to be rural and peaceful but close enough if you want to explore. The site is well maintained with a dog walking area, ball park, games room and a 9 hole putting green. There is also a fishing pond which was very popular with visitors. The toilet/shower blocks were always kept clean and tidy. There is a small shop onsite to get any basics you need to stock up on along with a few extras such as toys etc. Back to the XL Bully point for those who may be put off...from what I understand it's not necessarily a blanket policy. If you abide by the rules and your dog is well behaved, as we do and ours is, you will be allowed to stay but if you flout the rules or your dog causes issues you will be asked to leave and as an XL owner I think that's a very fair and balanced view to take. She doesn't often get the chance to socialise because people walk the other way but so many visitors stopped to ask if they could fuss her, which was fantastic for her development. We will definitely be returning, with or without the dogs.β
βThis is an excellent choice if you want good authentic Indian food. We went for a family get together and everyone left so satisfied. We tried so many dishes and all were incredible. Even the meat eaters were ordering more Gobi 68 and Gobi Manchurian the cauliflower was so tasty! The staff were really attentive too - a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.β
βCompact outdoor space with a sense of wildness and tranquility despite the traffic sounds from Kenpas highway nearby.β
βBrilliant village club, friendly staff and locals who made me feel welcome from the off. Great for watch sports too.β
βAn absolute hidden gem......a lovely little site with its own little woods...enclosed in tress...lovely to walk around with our dog...with benches ...fantastic to make your morning coffee and just enjoy sitting outside in nature There are open countryside walks close by. Barbara and Susan the owners are just lovely people and keep the site beautiful. There are toilets and shower on site, washing up station, rubbish and recycling bin, water tap and elan point. This site is adults only...and dogs welcome. This is our 2nd visit and will definitely be returning.β
βThey don't serve food, but they don't mind if you bring in your own takeaway, we usually order a Dominos and take it in. Staff are always happy and kind, the owners are lovely, and drinks are affordable.β
βThere are multiple entrances each offering a different walk. It's a great place for dog walks, With well maintained pathways.β
βNoah has been having mixed swimming lessons between the lovely ladies at Bunkers Hill, and the Leisure Centre in Stratford. There is no comparison between the two, at Bunkers hill there is structure, discipline and hands on guidance, with sensible class sizes. We are currently on the waiting list for Bunkers Hill and will be joining full time as soon as there's the opportunity. Thank you ladies for all your help.β
βI went here for the first time on Sunday. It was very relaxed and well organised. I got my wetsuit on, had a quick safety briefing and description of the course and was into the lake in no time! I will definitely be returning :)β
βΒ£3.60 for a fabulous pint, need I say more? Great service too.β
βThis club is amazing! Such friendly people who are there to help you better your skills at kayaking and paddle boarding, or just give you space to enjoy the water at your own leisure. I throughly enjoy the Thursday session and have got more confident on water because of going there, 5*****β
βA lovely place to spend your day with family. It has rides for kids and you can walk by the water.β
βThis park is really nice to spend some time with your family. And the park is maintained wellβ
βFantastic new lease of life for the Arley sports centre, newly reopened under new management Elite Sports, with brand new origin gym equipment, new functional fitness room, new free weights areas for all CV and muscular fitness bits. Only Β£4(!) gym fee for pay as you go or membership available. 2 minute sign-up process that can be done on the day via friendly staff. I did this today and it was very quick and easy. Large sports hall has always and continues to accommodate children's birthdays and 'playtimes' with bouncy castles and soft play areas. Other days it houses gymnastics sessions, indoor football and coaching of sports science students from schools in Coventry, under Elite Sports. Holiday camps are often run from the centre through Elite Sports. Dates are posted onto their Facebook page under 'Elite sports' Shower and toilet facilities available.β
