βHave been with the surgery since the mid 80βs and have generally been very satisfied. Itβs NHS with all the limitations that entails but they do their best to schedule and prioritise when necessary. Recent communication and scheduling treatment with regard to my painful osteoarthritis (and other conditions) has been excellent. My especial thanks to Dr Dobson and GP Registrar Dr Vickers (not forgetting Dr Bonsall and his patience with my persistent second guessing).β
βExcellent. Was given an appointment for my unwell son on the same day, despite staff shortages. Spoke to a very pleasant receptionist and was called back by Dr Cooper within an hour of the appointment being made and diagnosis and treatment all sorted before 11am. I am very grateful to you all. Thank you to the receptionist and Dr Cooper. Keep up the good work in these challenging times!β
βI noticed the low score reviews and wanted to give my own review to balance them somewhat. I moved to the area 6 years ago and was not registered with any practice until covid, when I realised I needed to be registered to get vaccinated. I picked Jubilee because it is on my commuting route as well as the route I generally take when visiting family and friends, and it's easy walking distance. There are other, better rated practices nearby, but the location for me was key. I have had cause to go in recently due to a painful injury that I am on a waiting list for. The staff couldn't be more pleasant, when I have been in blinding pain I have been able to see someone the same day, and they have responded to my phone enquiries with diligence and courtesy, I couldn't ask for better.β
βThe care and service of the staff and a special mention to a Dr Tariq, he is why the NHS is so great. Again a massive thank you Talha Tariq.β
βIβve only ever had a positive experience with this doctors. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and patient. The nurses and doctors Iβve seen have actually cared about what Iβm telling them. Doctor visits are usually a terrible experience for me. I usually feel Iβm not being listened to or not enough is being considered to sort the problem. But Iβve not had that experience here at all.β
βDr Gahir is just amazing. So caring & considerate, takes his time and puts so much effort in to ensure you are well looked after. Puts so much values into your health & makes you feel valuedβ
βGreat service always on time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommend 100%.β
βArrived at this pharmacy today for my 2nd covid booster. The whole process took less than 15 minutes, and the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Well done!β
βYes, there's always a queue when you phone but at least the message tells you where you are in the queue. That way you know if you can leave it ringing while you do something else for 5 minutes. I've been really impressed with this GP surgery. They've sorted out medication kerfuffle without me having to do much at all, and they've seen me on an urgent basis and been very nice about it all. If you ring on Monday morning you will wait ages on the phone and probably can't be seen that day, but that's the case for all GP practices now unfortunately.β
βI was leaving for a holiday later this day and I did not have enough of my medication to last the duration of the trip. I had asked the GP to put through an emergency prescription but this was taking too long. After speaking to Harp, he called the GP to check that the emergency prescription was being processed before he issued me the medication. Thanks to Harp I was able to go ahead with the holiday, so thank you for going above and beyond. I would also like to say that every time I have asked for a prescription the staff have been polite and efficient, placing this store above any other I have used, in my eyes.β
βVisit often always great service by staffβ
βStaff are always helpful. If my prescription isn't ready they'll give me a time to call back. This is a busy pharmacy, but they have never let me down in the many years I have been going there.β
βStaff here are friendly and helpful. Prescriptions are always ready quickly or ordered in quickly.β
βBooked myself in for a flu vaccine and days later booked my Mum in for a flu vaccine but couldn't get a similar time. I went to get mine and was telling the lovely lady that I would be back later in the day as my Mum had an appointment and she said not to wait till the time just bring her down which I did and was seen within minutes. Very helpful staff and great service.β
βMy name is Mr Jones and I have been a patient with Edgwick Medical for 21yrs. I have always had the very best of service from all the people who work here. My interaction with Shaffeen has always been positive, she goes above & beyond whenever needed. She is happy to help and she is my first port of call when needing assistance she is very reliable & when I had Medical issues, she found the answer from the GP & promptly got back to me, which I was thankful for. I have always found her very professional & resolves my queries efficiently. Shaffeen is an asset to the practice, keep up the good work!β
βDr McDonald is by far the best doctor Iβve ever had. He always goes the extra mile and has definitely saved my life once or twice thanks you for all youβve doneβ
βIt's Not my local GP. But I had to do my first Covid-19 Vaccination injection. The staff at the Arrived were so help full. Plus the Nurse giving Jab was very kind indeed. Keep up the good work, with difficult times ahead for Everybodyβ

βMy wife was released from hospital six months ago after having a stoma bag fitted - but she was also released with a severe infection to her wound. During the last six months, she has had to visit the practice every other day to have the stoma bag changed and the wound dressed. She has been treated with so much care and dedication by the Health Care Assistant at Phoenix and today has been discharged with the infection now fully healed. We are so grateful for the wonderful care the Health Care Assistance has given her over the last six months, but also the Doctors, Practice Nurse and the staff on Reception and staff of her Chemycare Pharmacy have given her. BIG THANKS TO YOU ALLβ
βAfter needing to find a new GP due to our previous practice changing their catchment area, we registered with Longford Primary Care Centre. Our experience has been exceptional from the start. Booking a non-urgent appointment was straightforward, with the receptionist efficiently scheduling me for a reasonable date. As an autistic person with ADHD, I typically struggle with change and felt anxious about transitioning to a new practice. However, the nurse immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit. The practiceβs communication has been outstanding. Email responses arrive remarkably quickly, and clinicians proactively call to provide updates and expedite referrals. During a recent appointment with my daughter, I witnessed the clinician speaking with genuine care and compassion to another patient leaving their consultation. This demonstrated the consistent level of empathy throughout the practice. When we were called in, the clinician was wonderful with my daughter, skillfully easing her concerns about being at the doctorβs surgery - something she had previously found intimidating. The professional approach helped transform what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one. While we havenβt been patients for very long, every interaction has exceeded our expectations. The quality of care, communication, and genuine compassion shown by all staff members gives us confidence that this standard will continue. I would highly recommend Longford Primary Care Centre to anyone seeking a patient-centred practice that truly cares about their community.β
βIn my experience, I've always enjoyed a very high level of care especially from Dr Myint and Dr Nagra. I have always been listened to and felt heard. I appreciate the continued support I've had from the surgery. I've also found it great since having the NHS App, all staff really quick and proactive responding.β
βEvery doctor, nurse, receptionist, office staff, blood taking person have been brilliant with me. Some doctors went absolutely above and beyond. They have referred me for scans, specialists, physio, gave great menopause advice. My experiences have all been brilliant. It us great being able to get out of hours appointments too due to my job. I can't thank them enough for getting me through a tough couple of years. Brilliant.β
βI have had to deal with Croft Medical Centre on behalf of my Uncle who has been poorly and needed care from us here in Birmingham. I read the reviews on Google and anticipated nothing but issues with my dealings with the Surgery. However, I found the Surgery and all of the Team that I have dealt with to be nothing but courteous, helpful, professional and extremely kind. None of my requests, on behalf of my Uncle have been straightforward, yet every single request has been efficiently dealt with. I could not have asked for more support and will always be grateful for the compassion which the Surgery have provided to my family as well as me. I managed to get the names of two very helpful colleagues, Freya and Elaine. Both were incredibly helpful and each one exceeded my highest expectations. In short, don't accept Google Reviews as factual, judge on your own experience. I did and could not have been happier. Thank you to all at Croft Surgery.β
