“I had no idea this place existed, but it's a real winner. Beautiful decor, great tasting coffee, and a price that was very reasonable. All in all a really lovely experience. I just hope it thrives and can find it's place in the market. There are a lot of newly built houses nearby so cross fingers!”

“Brilliant cafe/restaurant with a lovely selection of light bites and cakes/sweet treats. We visited for a family lunch as a large group and had perfect service, food out all at the same time/quickly and tasty. Decoration was classy and pretty. Very friendly and enjoyable, staff couldn't do enough!”

Not only did the coffee taste fantastic, perfectly balanced and smooth, but the latte art was absolutely beautiful! A true work of art. “I don;t often do reviews but this was such a good find. Needed a central point with parking for the girls meet up - always hard to find somewhere central to us all. The cocktails and waffles were amazing! There was a huge choice and all cooked fresh to order (they smelt out of this world). All accompanied with a couple of cocktails. I'm probably going to try Sunday lunch here next time - it's one of those places that I think will become a favourite for loads of occasions!”

“Booked our 4 year olds soft play party here Sept 2025. The softplay has loads of different areas and activities within it. Our family love it and so did the kids at the party. We had studio B for the 2nd hour of the party and it was a great size for us to set out different activities for the kids to do after their food. The buffet was pretty basic but fine for kids, quite expensive for what it was, but I guess it saves prepping and the hassle of sorting it all out yourself! Overall, a big success, and great place for a party”

“I mostly attend Camberwell and Peckham stores. Very friendly staff - well most of them,some probably had either bad start of the day or someone has managed to spoil their mood already. I love Peckham store for space and nice view of busy Peckham life, Camberwell store for quietness and friendly staff. I have issue with Costa Custome Services thou-i purchased mug in Derby-didnt get receipt, now back in London i am stuck with this cup because i found my favourite mug in Clapham.”

I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I’ve started to be home away for work in Darby fairly often. These muffins taste just like home and always bring me a small comfort while here. This place has become one of my favourite coffee shops and bakery.”

“We’ve been going to Insomnia Coffee every day since opening our shop across the street two years ago, and it’s been nothing but a great experience. The coffee is always spot on—especially the vanilla latte, which has become a daily favourite for me and my brothers. “The new Christmas mint hot chocolate is very nice. Bit sickly towards the end. Staff always polite. Always cold sitting in the foyer but guess its better to sit down at all. Staff always keep area clean and always willing to help. The tiffin cakes are so Devine.”
