“This was a fantastic bar to visit, with a flashy design including the counter and lights hanging down! Me and my friend enjoyed shots, sitting comfortably at a clean table.”
“Was seated very quickly on a Friday afternoon, the whole atmosphere was fun and lively. Great selection of food and drinks, some amazing looking cocktails! “I came here on Wednesday, as it’s always somewhere I walked past every week and I’ve always meant to try it out. The staff are so so lovely, their service was stellar and so welcoming which was 100% appreciated! The food was delicious (I had an Italian sandwich) and beautifully presented, when my friends saw my food they even said they’d have to try it the next time we go :)!”
“Went to the restaurant. Fantastic food and service. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back! If I could six stars I would. I recommend the sea bass…”

“Amazing restaurant with truly delicious Polish food! The Zrazy were done perfectly and tasted just like home. What really stood out was the hospitality, the owner gave us the warmest welcome we’ve ever received in the UK. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Awesome place. What's not to love. Great food, wine, ales, coffee and friendly staff.”
“Came in here Sunday night purely for the Toffanilla as I saw it on the Real Ale Finder app. Got speaking to the landlord about the porter and he told me the history behind it. Probably one of the best porter’s I’ve ever had. Exceptional. So glad I went. Lovely place and a lovely welcoming landlord. Will try and get back at the weekend, just for that porter!”
“My partner and I rang up to book a table late on bank holiday Sunday and luckily they squeezed us in. First time visiting and it is a lovely setting a small restaurant, it doesn't have much branding on the outside but looks like they have a lot of regulars! Staff were lovely prices were very reasonable and the food was lush! Good portion sizes too! My only quarrel is that the steak cheese burger I had said it was American cheese but it was more of a sauce (see in my photo) than a cheese slice which wasn't to my taste but that is more of a preference and just something I thought I'd make people aware of. Lovely restaurant!”
“Our wedding at Confessions was perfect for us. Hannah and her staff are amazing before during and after. Beautiful historic venue with character and charm. Their was nothing to much trouble from booking to after my wedding day. It was perfect. Thankyou to the Hannah and the confessions team for making our day perfect. Highly recommended if ya want a perferct wedding day”
“The Bridge Inn is an awesome place, located near the canals, it has an amazing view. The food is Italian. Today we had the Bridge Inn special which is fantastic. Really recommend this place.”
“We decided to go to Miller and Carter in Burton as a last minute spontaneous decision and we certainly did not regret it. The service was great with their servers paying real attention to your experience, the food was prepared perfectly to the point where nobody in our party spoke a word once it arrived and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. This was our first time at a Miller and Carter despite always wanting to visit and it certainly won’t be our last. If you find yourself in Burton give this establishment a visit, you’ll be grateful that you did!”
“It's taken us ages to actually get round to booking a table but decided to take our friend here for his birthday. We were really impressed with the food and the service. I had a steak which was cooked perfectly and the chips and onion rings were amazing. The rest of the meals were great and it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely. To top it off they even brought out a surprise dessert with a candle on for the birthday boy. Thanks for a great meal.”

“I come from Colorado in the States, the land of craft breweries. We literally are the top state for breweries in the US. For the last 30 years, since uni, I have been drinking microbrews. Shiny Tap is legit! I had the 4 Wood Cask Bitter. Absolutely brilliant. Smooth, easy drinking. Then had the Double Damson. If you aren't used to a sour, haven't had one, try it. Wow. Very impressed. Outdoor seating area is tops.”
“The White Hart is our favourite pub! Dave & Trudy are super attentive and go above and beyond for their customers. It’s got a great atmosphere, plenty of drink selection & also sausage rolls & cobs if you fancy a snack! There’s a pool table & a great darts set up with a cosy outdoor back yard area and a beer garden. Highly recommend. Thanks Dave & Trudy :)”

“Lovely place, took my nan, sister and mum for afternoon tea. Great food , lovely choice of sandwiches and cakes on two stands , big teapots of tea and you can have coffee too. I asked for gluten free bread which was no problem at all for them. The homemade scones were a massive hit with us all! I could of just had them , they were so good. Lovely atmosphere and great service, staff very friendly and nothing is to much bother. Worth a visit and good value for money for the afternoon tea.”
