“This was our first visit after 10+ years of visiting Barton Marina. Wonderful food, quick and attentive staff and lovely ambience. Visited at 6pm on a Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet but we had booked a table just in case. Food is truly excellent. We had the Thai Marina Favourite Basket starter followed by Gaeng Massaman (chicken), Chu Chee Gung Yai (jumbo prawn), sticky Thai rice and noodles.”

“Just been for meal at this little treasure of a restaurant. Service was beyond friendly, lovely ambience, food was out of this world. Being vegetarian for 40 years I do get bored of the same menu BUT they had a few amazing different options which I went for the beetroot and lentil bourguignon which tasted outstanding. My husband had for the pork belly and also agreed the food was beyond delicious. Very Highly recommended.”

“Had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here for a birthday treat. I've never had a multiple course breakfasts in this sort of format, so that was interesting. The location is adorable, especially if you can get a window seat. Staff were patient and friendly. The food was amazing! Good quality ingredients, tasteful sauces. The crumpet for my eggs benedict initially looked store bought, but it had much better flavour and texture when eating. Mushrooms on toast was so savoury and creamy, but not overly saucy. The brioche used was not overly sweet, so a good balance for various plates. Would happily return, and looking forward to trying a lunch/dinner menu.”

Once you enter the shop you’re introduced by a mix of world class music, paired with top tier customer service. For my first time here it was an experience you would get a michelln star restaurant! “Will get South Indian food, food is good. Parking is available for 4 to 5 cars but when we arrived, there is no parking, so parked at Abbey street paid parking (£2.5 for 2 hours). Service was also good. Overall rating is GOOD.”

“I've lived near Crich for 4 years and have only just got round to eating here. My brother and I arrived early and were worried we'd be the only ones eating there. How wrong we were! Within about half an hour, every table was taken. It's clearly a family business, and everyone at front of house is really lovely and friendly. The real winner here though, is the food. Presentation is absolutely top notch, the portions are generous (we brought some home in a doggy bag!) and the flavours are exquisite. I don't know who the chef is, but they clearly care about food and their art. We REALLY enjoyed our visit here, and will definitely be back. I feel quite lucky that such a great restaurant is located in this sleepy little village - and the rest of the locals clearly feel the same.”

“We use Love Curry at least twice in a month & have done for the past 5 years. But this weekend they were exceptional!! We asked them to cater for over 30 people, sent them a pre order & asked a time for it all to be delivered. It was all correct & piping hot. We all enjoyed our curries & Pizza's. “We’ve visited twice in the last few weeks and absolutely love this place. It’s nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere going on. The food we order always comes piping hot and presented exactly how you feel it should be presented. Very tasty too with tender chicken pieces and flavoursome sauce. Had the lamb on the bone last time and that was an experience and a half! After speaking to one of the waiting team about the poppadom dips, we found out that they are all made freshly on site and not just from a bottle. Definitely going to go back soon”

“Had the most enjoyable lunch. We chose the Camembert to share, we have had loads of camemberts as it is one of my favourites, but I have never ever tasted one this good. We had a glass of Chardonnay to go with it and the wine was exceptional as were the people who work there. Cannot find one fault and shall definitely be returning. Thank you for such an exceptional lovely lunch and afternoon x”

“Wow! Absolutely wonderful meal, great little find in Burton, licensed as well. Wife had the Bengal Chicken with mushroom rice. I went vegetarian with the Channa Palak (Chick pea and spinach), with 2 chappattis. Both were mouthwatering and large portions. Wine was perfectly chilled to boot. Will be coming again and added advantage of having parking at the rear of the restaurant. Behind the Magnet showroom. Seemab is a journeyman waiter, attentive, without disrupting the flow of eating and makes good suggestions for alternatives. Will definitely be back!”

“This is a great little find! Consistently good! Great selection of food and are wonderful with gluten free options! Don’t expect much from the decor but honestly the food out-ways the setting! It’s what you would expect from a Thai in the village off the side of the pub! Always busy so that adds to the atmosphere! Eaten here many times and it’s always been good!”

“Just got back home to Cornwall after a lovely few days staying here. We stayed in 5A. The room was very clean and spacious. Only criticism was the step outside back door was very high really needs another step. A big thank you to Costa and Precious they were very welcoming when we arrived. Also Jake and Ben for looking after us every evening. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family.”

“This is the best Indian restaurant we have found, it really is worth travelling to. We have been three times so far and it has been consistently good, the main dishes are great then finishing off with amazing desserts and a pot of coffee with a jug of cream after the desserts which is how it should be but so many others aren't. To top it off it is reasonably priced and the setting which is underground really has a wow factor.”
