“Fantastic Christmas meal today! Sophie was seeing to our table, and what a fantastic job she did. She was pleasant, chatty, and made sure our meal was exactly what we wanted - couldn't fault the food or the service! “With a P Inn you always know what you get. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any P Plus rooms. But in the nes it was fine. Room smelt a bit damp when we arrived. But cleared after an hour. The breakfast team were one of the best I habe seen at a P Inn. Super friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't have a car so cant comment on parking. Location was very central. Easy access to everything. Easy to get Uber taxis.”

“From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“Shocked at the prices for national trust food. Very reasonable and well worth it for the quality alone. Good size portion and well presented. Faultless service and all this in the house's old kitchen complete with copper pans on the wall and a large open fireplace.”

“Has a great time watching the football with the missus in our private booth. No extra charge, staff were friendly and accomadating, the drinks fair price and really enjoyed our food. Which we asked to split as we wete sharing, not a problem our food came in two bowls and was well.presented, well worth going in if ever in derby, we will certainly pop in again.”

“Great buffet experience with a wide variety of Chinese, Indian, and continental dishes along with live stations. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the options were well presented. The only thing I really missed was crispy fried prawns, which would have made it perfect, hence one star less. Otherwise, highly recommended!”

“Lovely Chinese restaurant, 6 of us went last night. We had three “all you can eat” menu. Great choices and lovely food. Service excellent and had some red wine which was good too. Price is competitive with similar restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.”

“Came to Anokis from Bradford after spending the day in Derby. Nearly missed it on the A38 so first impression of the location wasn't impressing but that soon changed with the astounding exterior deco (see pics) and ample parking. Service - Loved what the waiters were wearing as part of their uniform. They were extremely polite and talkative yet very busy. Always someone watching the tables should a table need some service. Toilets - very clean and fresh & accessible. Food - Expensive especially for a small plate of starters but nonetheless the food was delicious. The mains were a better size for the price and tasty. Anokis do a deal every Wednesday and a member discount which you may need to be mindful to checkout. Atmosphere - great atmosphere. Great deco and lighting, lively and impressive space & quality seating. I would definetly recommend a visit to Anoki.”

“Was excited to try The Windmill as it’s under new management. Went for Sunday lunch with my young family. The service and ambience was lovely. The food was superb. Absolutely delicious and great value for money. Huge portions. My Auntie took home a doggie bag and it lasted two more meals. My new favourite Sunday lunch in Derby. We will most definitely be back!”

“The food is very nice plus pudding, cakes. Drinks piping hot. Also with it being in a garden centre you have the best of both worlds, having some fun in the garden centre with Xmas around the corner plenty of Xmas things to look at”

“A popular real ale pub with friendly and welcoming staff. A great range of beers including those from the Derby Brewing Company. We also had some of their burgers, which were very tasty and pretty good value. It's also very conveniently located near the city centre”

“Probably the best dine in Chinese around swadlincote, Burton and Coalville. The food is delicious but more expensive than your typical take away. We have been coming here with family, friends and work colleagues. Some work colleagues are from China when they visit and always want to come back here because of how nice and authentic the food is. I would always recommend to book a table if you dont want to be disappointed. The inside is nice but when busy always feels a little cramped at times. There's more tables for larger groups up stairs too. Would highly recommend it if you wanted a dine in Chinese.”

“Was taken here tonight by friends and although I'd not had Japanese food before I absolutely loved it. We tried lots of different starters and they were all Fantastic the mains were great too. The robot servers and watching the chefs cook and prepare sushi was really entertaining. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others”

“Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

“We were gifted a cocktail and tapas food experience here, it was a proper faff to book, although it wasnt Revs de Cuba's fault at all, but we got there in the end. The food, cocktails and the server (Christie?) were all great. We had a zombie and a blue lagoon and for food: Albondigas, Spiced Black Beans, Patatas Bravas, Tortillas and Cajun Creamed Mushrooms. To be honest I wasnt expecting a lot but we enjoyed it all, and we were'nt rushed. Another one to try again”

“Location of hotel is brilliant easy access where ever you need to go. Rooms and very clean and homely also the service is brilliant honestly it is next to nothing the staff can’t do enough for you also if you come across a snag they will help you. I’ve also seen the staff run off there feet but still manage to run the hotel when short in numbers all I can say is bravo all well done thank you”
