I regularly get BIAB by Aimee, Shannon & Cate who are all incredible at what they do and take the best care with every appointment. “This place is an oasis of calm even when the rest of the city is busy! It's a members only club, and there is sometimes a wait for membership - I had to wait about 6 months, but it was worth it. The pool is often very quiet, with only one or two other people in it - I've had it to myself occasionally! There is a steam room, sauna, and hot pool by the pool, as well as a fully kitted out gym upstairs. The staff are friendly, as are the other members. One of the unique features of this place is that when you join, you get a small locker where you can keep your swimwear. Tag your swimwear with your locker number and you can actually chuck it into the laundry baskets with the towels and the staff will wash and dry it for you overnight, and leave it back in your locker. This means that I can go straight from work, for example, to the club without having to go home to pick up my swimwear. Very convenient!”

“Great place to swim and workout while visiting Edinburgh if you’re staying close enough - it’s walkable from my place in Stockbridge, but there’s also plenty of parking. They are offering a great summer price special. Matthew at the front was super helpful getting me signed up and oriented. All of the staff have been very friendly. The gym is well equipped, very clean, and not too busy during the day. Plenty of lane space in the pool for laps. The water is too warm for a serious swim workout, but this is usually the case for multipurpose aquatic facilities.”

“I'm super sad I needed yo leave... that lagoon is so cool and winter dippers are such a friendly support even if u go for that solo... it's nice to see like minded people. I feel alone in Bertha Loch with this. Is cool but lonely.”

They left feeling refreshed and relaxed would highly recommend to for anyone contemplating trying it at Octangle. "Feel 10 year younger" Lana the owner also done my mums lashes and very amazing and fluffy. Exactly what she asked for and is still in love with them. Best salon in Edinburgh.”

“Carnegie Leisure Centre is an absolute gem for the Dunfermline community. Whether you're into swimming, fitness, or family activities, this place has something for everyone. The swimming pool facilities are top-notch — especially the main pool and the brilliant leisure pool with a flume and wave machine. It’s perfect for both serious swimmers and kids who just want to have fun. The poolside is clean, well-maintained, and well-supervised by friendly staff. The gym area is modern and well-equipped, with a good range of cardio machines, resistance equipment, and free weights. It's spacious and rarely feels overcrowded, even during peak hours. The fitness classes are varied and professionally run — from yoga and spin to body pump and aqua aerobics. Changing facilities are clean and secure, and the café area is a nice bonus — great for a post-workout coffee or snack. What really stands out is the staff: always helpful, welcoming, and professional. They create a very inclusive and relaxed environment for everyone, from beginners to regulars. If you’re in Dunfermline or nearby, Carnegie Leisure Centre is definitely worth a visit. Great value, excellent facilities, and a real community feel.”
