“I had such a great experience here! First of all, all the staff are brilliant! I went to get new glasses and wanted to try contact lenses. Everyone took time to discuss all the options, explain everything to me in detail so that I could understand what was happening. Jay (I don't know how to spell her name) was my optometrist and she was so great! I felt so at ease with her and she didn't give up to find me the right fit for contact lenses! When it came to finding the right glasses the staff took so much time and care to find what suited me and gave me advice, so that I didn't even feel that I needed to bring someone to help me pick glasses. I would highly recommend coming here if you have any questions or if you're nervous about anything, these lovely people will take good care of you!”

“My tyre pressure light came on last Saturday as I had a faulty tyre sensor in one of the tyres. I have rang several garages within the area with an average wait of 2 weeks! I was really impressed when I spoke to Luke last Saturday morning. He gave me the price it costs to replace the tyre sensor over the phone and he was able to fit me in the same day for an appointment to get my tyres looked at. Him and his team were amazing. They are professional and worked well as a team to answer customers enquiries in person and over the phone. He managed expectations really well, keeping me informed throughout the process with progress while I wait in the garage and time it takes to fit the new tyre pressure sensor (30 minutes), showing me which one was faulty. His team was great with the checks and went above and beyond by checking all the tyres, ensure they all fully inflated and documented the tyre depth in the completion report along with photos. I would highly recommend this garage. It really is Kwik Fit!”

“I arrived for my appointment 1/2 hour early to get a puncture repaired and decided to wait. The technician's were extremely busy. A team member found that it was not feasible to repair. I asked if a new tyre could be fitted? A short time later I had my car back, with a new tyre. Grateful thanks to Davy Duff and the team for their efficient and speedy service.”

“Excellent hotel. We stayed in an executive room after a free upgrade which was dreamy. The rooms were clean and bright, though there's some light staining on some of the carpet. Nothing too bad, probably just needs a refresh. Showers were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. It's about a 5/10 min walk to Victoria Street, so about 10/15 to the Royal Mile. Overall - fantastic for a stay in Edinburgh.”

When we arrived after some flight difficulties, we found that the team had upgraded our accommodation and had it fully ready upon arrival. We also asked the Front Desk staff if they had any recommendations for sites to visit and they wrote us a list with some great things that we didn't have on our list already! Upon arriving a few hours early, David kindly assisted us by storing our luggage and went the extra mile by recommending places to visit in the city, which was extremely helpful. “We stayed here for 3 nights during an event at the Royal Highland Centre. Location couldn’t have been more perfect as the entrance is a mere 3 steps away from the hotel car park. Getting here was easy off the main road as was parking. Just remember to pay for your parking in reception and not using the qr codes in the car park as you’ll get it half price. Check-in was a breeze with all staff polite from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. Reception has a small shop area with drinks and snacks and a vending machine with all your holiday essentials that you likely forgot to pack. The airport terminal is only a 15min walk away too but constant shuttles work their way from the hotel if you arent up for a walk. The airport terminal has a tram stop which for £10 return takes you straight into the centre of Edinburgh. Our room was 34 on the ground floor. Great size and spotlessly clean. Great to see dove hand wash, body wash and shampoo along with the usual tea and coffee stuff, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Only complaint is the mattress is well past its shelf life and all its spring has sprung. Very soft and we just kept rolling into the middle but beyond that the room was perfect. Free unlimited breakfast in the morning. Muffins, croissants, pancakes machine, cereals as well as the typical hot choices like sausages, bacon, eggs etc. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.”
