“We took the chance and popped in one Friday evening as our friend has been going here forever and recommended They were hosting a little birthday party but welcomed us to dine as they had tables available We ordered pasta with complementary garlic bread which I have to say was one of the nicest breads I’ve had , some rose wine which was delicious and chilled to perfection and water The pasta was so fresh and tasty We were full to try a dessert but we will be back The owner and mum We’re just lovely we felt so welcome and just loved the old style decor and cosy feel Of the place This is a little hidden gem and very reasonable price wise We can’t wait to go back soon”

They were also kind enough to inform my partner that a dish we had ordered and he had gone to pick up wasn't vegan safe and kindly offered to make us an alternative without charging us!”

“Came as a family for our dinner last week and was absolutely blown away, each of us ordered different meals and not a single person left disappointed. Food was incredible, portions were generous and the staff were lovely. Shoutout especially to the chef Darren and the head manager too as they went above and beyond for us during our visit. “I went for dinner to try the tasting menu and the service was 10/10 with servers refilling our water almost as soon as we ran out and they asked us if we would like a top up of ginger after we ran out as well, the courses came out almost immediately after we finished the last and they cleared our dishes as soon as they were finished. The food was so tasty- I’d highly recommend Teriyaki chicken as a main because the sauce was delicious. Also my first time trying a few things like chicken gyoza and Mochi. They were both so so good! The atmosphere was so lovely, the restaurant wasn’t busy so we could hear ourselves talking. It would be a great place to go eat alone as-well because it is so quiet in there. They also do take-aways which we noticed while we were eating. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back again.”

“We (2 people) ordered beef fried noodles and king prawn fried rice for lunch. It was really big portion and good value. The fly rice was cooked professionally at Chinese way. Kind prawn was fresh. We tried also the Hong Kong style milk tea which is rare in western world. It was really a surprise. We will be back for sure.”

Perfect for a relaxed brunch or coffee with a view — the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the big windows looking out over the sea make it extra special (outdoor seating also available). The menu has something for everyone, from fresh baked goods and excellent coffee to hearty breakfast and lunch options. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly without being rushed. A perfect seaside café — well worth a visit whether you’re a local or just passing through. Dog friendly as well which is always a plus.”

“I get a takeaway from here a couple of times a month and it's always really good. Tried lots of dishes. The crispy shredded beef in honey chilli sauce is great and the spicy wings are really nice. Food is always ready quickly for collection. I always collect so can't comment on how fast they deliver.”

“Best Indian I've tried in Edinburgh. Nan bread always perfect, crispy and soft at the same time and flavourful with garlic and coriander. Great tandoori, go for the mixed selection! Paneer curries always packed with spices and wonderfully flavourful. Unlike most Indian restaurants, the meat in curries is not overcooked. Would highly recommend. They offer you a discount by cutting out the middle man (just eat) and ordering through their website. Wish more curries came with a paneer option though.”

“Came here recently for the first time and I found the place clean and service-friendly, food was freshly made and crazy cheap but didn't lack in quality of ingredients. I got the (special haddock supper) for £10 and was amazed to see that the chips were plentiful and fluffy and that they gave me 3! Fried fish fillets Even tho the fillets were a bit thin I can't complain, couldn't even finish it all after a long day of cycling. Definitely would come again!”

“Popped in here this week. Had half an hour to spare. Enjoyed a lovely cup of Earl Grey tea sitting at the little food bar at the window....right in front of me ...delicious home made cakes and home made artisan bread. Home made soup too. Go on try something different to your usual lentil. Beans are so good for us....protein and fibre in a cup. Love lentil soup but will try different ones. Lovely couple....very hard-working by what they told me. Bought some delicious cakes to take away and also sourdough sunflower bread. Yummy!! I'll go in again. We need to support out litlle places too or they'll disappear. Thank you!”
