“Had a fantastic meal here for our 9 year wedding anniversary. Had used the city centre restaurant numerous times but loved this one equally as much if not more. Our waitress iris was lovely so attentive but not intrusive The meal was as expected top quality Love the wine and cider selection Sangria is nice and also had a complimentary drink for our anniversary such a nice touch will be back time and time again”

“Literally one of my favorite meals ever, let alone of a month in Scotland. World-beating hummus, fantastic sambousek, the “Spicy Salad” one of the best salads I’ve ever tasted. Fantastic mixed grill (the chicken wings and lamb chop particular standouts but everything good), big portions, all terrific. Finished with a knafeh that was delicate and absolutely delicious. Incredibly friendly, super-casual service. Expect to have to flag somebody down, and pay at the counter. A true highlight and absolutely a must-try in Glasgow.”

“Was looking for a nice restaurant for my mums birthday and we stumbled upon this place. The service was amazing, the staff even helped us with a tiramisu and candle to celebrate. The charcuterie was to die for and the food we had was delicious. You can tell they use fresh produce and know how to treat it well. If you’re looking for a nice dinner or even a cocktail and nibbles I would highly recommend.”

“Some of the best Indian I have ever had. Tapas style let's you try more types of dishes. Tasted very flavorful and authentic. Chili garlic chicken and tikka masala were amazing, as were the chai and cocktails.”

“Mother India’s Cafe offers a truly delightful Indian dining experience. Even with a queue, the waiting staff were incredibly attentive, making sure we felt looked after from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious. We particularly appreciated how the staff took such pains to ensure we didn’t accidentally order anything containing ghee, showing a genuine care for our preferences. The Chana Dal and veggie pakora were an absolute triumph—simple, yet exceedingly flavorful. This is a must-visit!”

“I personally love the place. Good atmosphere and people who go there are pleasant. Food quality is pretty good, especially for Glasgow standards. Only downside for me is a few members of the staff who I don’t find fitting. But overall I am satisfied with my visits all the time. Do not recommend beef tartare, it’s lacking in flavor and serving. Love vote for quick lunch.”

“Visited for an afternoon tea, was lovely in a fantastic setting. The food provided for two of us was more than enough and we loved all of it. The staff were careful to both remember and take into account my wife's allergy to cream providing her with a slightly different selection. Highly recomended.”

I was guaranteed the rolls with square sausage and onion would be the best I'd tasted, and let me tell you they more than lived up to that! “Small cafe in an industrial estate, great menu selection available for sit in or takeout, staff are friendly and the banter is spot on, cash or card, decent prices for decent portions, steak pie was awesome and the honey chilli chicken is always a great choice. Will definitely return for the food and the banter.”

“I won't mark down because in principle I like this place, the staff are friendly, the cakes look nice. However today's iced latte was disappointing and to be honest went in the bin. I'm ok with running out of cups, and was advised of that. However putting in 6 pieces of ice meant that by the time I'd got outside and not even left the park it was not iced but rather a regular latte that had gone cold. Disappointing and ended up in the bin. Please don't ration ice, you're better than that!”

“The place was spotlessly clean. The service was excellent. Coffee good, fruit cake nice, roll and sausage good. But for two small "regular" coffees, 1 x cake, 1 x roll and sausage £14.30 was a little bit pricey.”
