“Meant to review this last week when we came for the first time. However, probably the best review we could give is to come back the following week (today) and then decide to make it our new regular. The food and wine is absolutely sublime. It is a one of a kind restaurant with 10/10 service. The staff are absolutely lovely, especially Scott. See you next week!”

“Unassuming and brilliant restaurant. It's a great place to try some Scottish classic dishes like haggis, neeps and tatties or a creamy smoked haddock chowder. The salad with whipped Goat's cheese was delightful. Fabulous food and very friendly service!”

“What an absolutely lovely restaurant! The staff were so welcoming and attentive (but in an unobtrusive way), the food was really delicious, and there was even live background music in the form of a pianist playing a mix of classical and more modern pop on the baby grand. All in all, a perfect dining experience - highly recommend!”

“Came in for a lovely Friday night dinner. We both had 3 courses, it was hard to refuse possibly the happiest waitress in Paisley. Food was so fresh, great wine and a brilliant atmosphere. To be recommended.”

“A brilliant steak place that is completely under rated. Never heard of it before so when I went and tried it, I wasn’t expecting too much. It was so good! The chateaubriand had a delicious beefy flavour. The vibes inside are still casual so you don’t feel like you need to get all dressed up like nearly every other steak spot. The bon bons were a firm fave for the starter. I didn’t think the mac & cheese, or the garlic mushrooms were worth £6 each so I would steer clear of these as sides! The sticky toffee pudding sundae was out of this world… two delicious desserts combined!”

“Came here sat 1st November. Ordered burger with handcut chips which were lovely. Had half pizza and pasta which was great. Food nice portions and piping hot. Staff are nice and very efficient hard working will come again. Thanks.”

“This was our first night out post pregnancy and having a kid at we were determined to kick the arse out of it. The wine selection was great, the different dishes we tried were all excellent. It's a modern restaurant that's got up to date decor, and although we had an early table on a Tuesday, it picked up a great deal as the night went on. The service was good, the food was delicious. We're really glad we came here for dinner and will definitely be back.”

“Food & Service is excellent! The set menu comes with very big portions. We had the bruschetta, steak, lasagne and tiramisu. Amazing. Steak was properly seasoned and well charred.”

“Another one on the list that I've wanted to visit for a long time having heard only good things about the place. One word needed to describe the place - exceptional. Staff are super friendly, tasteful decoration complimented with a soundtrack to suit. Food was delicious, so much choice and plenty of vegetarian options available. All dishes were well presented. Attention to detail, from staff that evidently have passion for what they serve. Cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back soon.”

“I’m a big curry lover, and I drive from Hamilton to here to get a curry! It’s that good! That Thali was wonderful, and the Chasni sauce is fabulous. And the chef made me Lassi, even though it isn’t on the menu! My partner got the sea bass, said it was the best ever, and generous portions, can’t recommend this friendly eatery enough. Did I mention that the prices are very reasonable? You won’t be disappointed!”

I usually don’t like change but when Maska opened about 18 months ago I thought I would give them a try as they are right on our doorstep.
