“This was a last minute booking. The staff are friendly and rooms are perfect . Clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a very welcome surprise. A real hidden gem . We had the best Indian food we have ever had . And very reasonably priced. I would book ahead though as very popular place .”

“My wife and I LOVE the restaurant Pickled Ginger on Argyle Street Glasgow. We were advised that they had relocated a limited menu to the Cranside Kitchen as part of their response to COVID 19. FOOD We booked and turned up not expecting to have the flexibility to choose from 3 other restaurants (Rioja, Halloumi and can't remember the other!) We stuck to our original choice and didn't regret it. ALL the food (yes, ALL OF IT) was DELICIOUS! The loaded Kimchi fries were spicy but not overly so. The katsu chicken was generous in its portion and the pumpkin Tonkatsu was also delicious. Best Salmon Sashimi we've ever had also. The best Chocolate Mochi and Baklava we've ever had!!! AMBIANCE We were sat by the window and upon arrival could have day outside if we wanted to. The view of the Clyde side was lovely. PARKING Final thing, the restaurant give you free all day parking upon arrival so that you don't need to worry about paying for a car park space. They take your vehicle registration. NEGATIVE (ONLY 1) My only negative is that a large soft drink is £3.50 or £2.50 for a regular soft drink. This is where most of our £10 per head eat out government discount was spent as we had 2 large soda water and limes each.”

“Had an hour to kill so decided to go to The Beer House. Great sevice and atmosphere :) Belgian waffles with back bacon and maple syrup with Latte and cheeky pink gin with lemonade :P”

“Great gem of a place, hard to find but worth it. Great venue, decor and vibe is cool and unique. The staff were very friendly and efficient, really good choice of drinks and cocktails. Can't remember the names of the the ones we had but they were very tasty indeed, along with some st mungos beer. Had a really cool outdoor section with heaters and smart booths, really handy for smokers like me and can still enjoy the venues vibe. Fair prices as well a good staff makes it a must visit”

“I've been going here since I moved to Rutherglen eight years ago and always get just one thing; large mixed pakora with a can of Irn Bru, so can only comment based on this dish but I've never had any problems with it, the service is prompt and whenever I go in I never have to wait long even though they must be busy doing JustEat orders. The staff are pleasant and polite and even though it's no longer the closest takeaway to me since moving within the area I will continue to go here.”

“As my family and friends were attending an event running till late, I booked this Hotel and my wife upon arrival herself while waiting for the rest of the family seated at reception was welcomed by Mohammed, he offered my wife coffee or tea to drink whilst waiting, both rooms were very tidy and modern, they enjoyed their breakfast this morning. Looking at the photos of the rooms they sent me, it was worth the money for an overnight stay for four.”

“Fantastic pub with a very kind lady running the place but does not suffer fools. I was there the night in question when the so called homophobic incident occurred. The person in question who is claiming the so called homophobic treatment was not exactly sober and is the type of snowflake society unfortunately is creating these days. PLEASE STOP LYING and STOP ENCOURAGING YOUR SO CALLED FRIENDS FROM POSTING DRIVEL. Total entitlement culture. Please visit this place if you get the chance. Simple rules , behave yourself , be courteous and you will have a great time. If you enjoy a lively FRIENDLY atmosphere you have a good night.”

“I went on a Thursday night. It was such a good experience. Expect a queue at the door if you don’t prebook your tickets. Stirling kept us entertained at the door and made standing in the queue a lot more tolerable with his humour. Will definitely return.”

“Absolute Great night out, from security, Andy (the bald 1) even the bearded,Darren& Declan(luv him) too, to the bar staff Ciara, Megan n the rest, the djs.. James Hollywood not to mention Micheal n connor right up to managers Andy n jade, Ciara too I think, great place to drink, quiz is awesome with ross, together the team are great, would deffo recommended.”
