“Great wee pub. The function room was nice and was very family-friendly. The staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Prices were reasonable, especially if you've kids. The fruit-shoots were only £1. I was £20 for 2 pints of tenants, 2 cans of coke, a lime and lemonade and 5 fruit-shoots.”

The food (Fish n Chips and Chilli) was better than I expected to be honest as I wasn't really expecting it to be so tasty. The atmosphere was very friendly as I spoke to a couple of customers and staff about the fact it was 35 years since my last visit, when I worked in Barr and Stroud. Weatherspoons is such an asset to have on your doorstep and I wish we had one in Blantyre.”
