“It's good, simple pub grub. Great deals on drinks and food, really good service. What makes Raven's Cliff utterly delightful is that dogs are some of their most valued customers. Dog friendly places are getting more common but The Raven's Cliff does a well presented dog menu, remembers who they are, has a wall with photos of their "regulars" and makes them a comfortable as possible. The surroundings are really chilled out and peaceful. A real little haven!”

“Visited this bar for first time yesterday for family funeral and what can I say food was delicious we had lentil soup and a choice of steak pie/ fish /and chicken in gravy I had the fish and its the best fish I've tasted for a long while they have a great selection on there menu at reasonable prices and staff were lovely and friendly Daniel our server was really nice and friendly and nothing was a bother for him it was a lovely wee dining area spotless clean and had a cracking large beer garden and parking area will definately be visiting this place again soon thanks for your top class service and compliments to the chef”

“Popped in for a quick drink with my better half during corona social distancing phase 3. Very impressed that all staff were taking every precaution available. I had a pint and the bar staff offered me a straw to drink from? A little weird drinking a pint from a straw but just shows how far the staff have went to ensure that every precaution available was utilised to prevent the spread! And the great thing is that the atmosphere was friendly and the experience felt extremely normal thanks to the staffs efforts. We'll done”

“My family was visiting from the US and walked in around 5:30 on a Wednesday not knowing anything about the place. The bartender went above and beyond with everything. When we saw that the food we wanted was no longer being served per the time on the menu, we started to walk out, but the bartender stopped us and took care of us anyway. This is not service that I would expect everyday, but we were so incredibly thankful. I had the Mac and Cheese and it was fantastic. I’m not someone who often leaves reviews, this is actually my first, but I was seriously touched by the care that we were given.”

“Been in here a few times now before football games at Hampden. Can get busy but enough space for seating or standing. Had a pint of Murphys that was delicious. So much better than elsewhere I've tried. Staff always friendly despite being busy with serving”

“We used the private dining suite for my mum and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary dinner. Around 30-35 guests attended and the room was perfectly spacious for this party size. In the weeks leading up to the dinner, Craig was fantastic at staying in touch regarding meal choices, welcome drinks and more. The team on the day were fantastic and the food was served exactly on the time we asked for. Overall, it’s a fantastic venue for a small gathering and guarantees good food, reasonably priced drinks and service with a smile. We will definitely be using again in the future!”

“Traditional Local community focussed pub. friendly locals and staff. busy at weekends because there's usually entertainment on but will defo be back in the summer as they have a spacious beer garden. recently renovated I believe which makes it a relaxing wee venue before heading the 5 mins into the centre of town. Great wee find.”

“We had a works day out at Record Factory, 12 of us, sat in beer garden. Beers were cold, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. We prebooked tables, which I'd recommend, as it gets busy on nice days. Highly recommended place to go in the West End.”
