“The food is great, whatever i have had, the sunday dinner is lovely, they do a small which is just the right size for me and you get a choice of which meat you want. The inside is quite small compared to some pubs, not too big, you can sit outside, There is always room though when we have gone. Its in a small villiage called Preston on the outskirts of Hull. Friendly people. If i can add photos later i will as im sure we will be there again soon.”
“Fast Friendly service all the staff are so welcoming also dog friendly I would recommend the salt and pepper chicken wrap and the Mexican nachos have a range of craft beers and beers I tried the damn lemon that was glorious”

“Been for lunch this week. As good as ever, if not even a bit better. Lovely nicely cooked food and a great atmopsphere. Even made the dog very welcome.”
“We stopped here for lunch and we thought the food, the price and the service was spot on. Delicious hot sandwiches with a tasty side. All of the light bites are meant to be half size, but the portions are very generous and suited my 12 year old perfectly. Staff were friendly and genuine. Much appreciated and would happily recommend this for a casual lunch spot.”
“We were first in the door at midday so atmosphere wasn't pumping. We'd just walked the dog up West Wood fields and enjoyed a lovely pint of Guinness and some chunky chips. Dog was welcome too. Staff were friendly and accomidating. We will be back again for a Sunday roast”
“We loved it. The Landlady was very friendly and allowed us to check in early as we were going to a wedding. The room was well equipped with traditional fittings you would expect in a period building. Our room was very spacious with tea and coffee facilities and porridge if you fancy a light bite in the morning. The other staff were also friendly and helpful and one of the main things was the cleanliness. It is located on the main street so a good spot for sampling the local market town facilities. Pubs, cafes restaurants and craft shops. I would highly recommend the Londesborough for a trip to Market Weighton and can easily be used as a hub for discovering the surrounding villages and countryside. A big thank you for a great stay!”
“Award winning desserts are amazing. Best toffee pudding and cheesecake I've ever tasted. All food is home made and tasty. Especially love their steak & ale pie. Friendly staff in a cosy setting. Will definitely be a returning customer!”
“A great start to Saturday filled with house viewings. If only the Cottingham property market provided a much value. The young staff member was genuinely welcoming and helpful, someone any manager would wish to have representing the business. Food was tasty and fresh meaning it was decent value as well as being really quickly served.”
“Great burger and my partner really enjoyed her calzone pizza. It had a lot of filling. Two for the price of one when we visited was an added bonus. Pints were very good too.”
“The White Swan is a true gem of a pub, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back time and time again. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a traditional pub feel, complete with comfortable seating, exposed beams, and a friendly buzz of conversation. One of the White Swan's biggest draws is its impressive selection of real ales and ciders. The rotating taps feature a fantastic variety of local and national brews, catering to all tastes. Whether you're a seasoned ale enthusiast or just looking to try something new, the knowledgeable bar staff are always happy to offer recommendations and let you sample before you commit. They clearly take pride in their beer, ensuring it's always perfectly poured and served at the ideal temperature. I've discovered some fantastic new favourites here, and the seasonal selections are always something to look forward to. Beyond the excellent drinks, the White Swan boasts a welcoming ambiance. It's a place where you can easily settle in for an afternoon with friends, enjoy a quiet pint on your own, or even strike up a conversation with a friendly local. The staff are incredibly attentive and create a real sense of community. The White Swan is more than just a pub; it's a local institution. If you're looking for a pub with great real ales, excellent ciders, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, look no further. You won't be disappointed. Very friendly host Lisa and her team always give a warm welcome. Great selection of drinks and the rear beer garden is a right hidden gem. Definitely try the brunch on a Saturday or Sunday.”
“Amazing food! The staff were absolutely lovely and so accommodating of our large family booking. Would definitely recommend.”
“had such a good night here for my friends birthday, the private rooms are so fun and really easy to use especially ordering drinks etc, the staff were so nice and accommodating even though we were a bunch of drunk girls that broke a glass, sorry! Overall its something different to do on a night out and I can’t wait to come back :)”
“The service station is Not the type of place I usually frequent, usually traditional pubs, But what a great place. I came for the live music. Two acoustic artists and a great live band (luna crash). It's a good venue, a nice stage plenty of seating and some cosy booths and a pool table. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a good choice of beers, cider and larger. They even have a hand pulled cask, conditioned real ale. We had a brilliant night. We will be back for the rock night. Highly recommended.”
“The atmosphere of your night here is absolutely amazing! Absolutely adored the music and how everyone seems to sing a long! Would definitely recommend to those looking for some good weekend fun!”
“Great pub nice selection of beers has table football pin ball and bar billiards in the games room.”
“We had a warm greeting from are hostess Lesley who showed us to our table and then took are drinks order and left us to decide what to eat. It was a hard choice with such a wide range of food on the menu. My wife has dietary needs and Lesley was brilliant explaining how they could accommodate her. I decided on the black and blue burgers with home made chips, onion rings and home made relish. My wife ordered a sirloin steak with new potatoes and a special salad. When the food arrived it was well presented and both meals were very tasty. We were both surprised and how big the portion size was. The table next to us had the home made pie. I have never seen such a big pie and it looked amazing and our next visit i will definitely be having that. The Bay Horse is amazing inn with warm friendly staff and great food.”
“Great beer with a great atmosphere all staff are friendly and are up for a laugh”

Outstanding entertainment Dale is the best compare I've ever seen and Maggie is so lovely you feel part of the family that's Maggie for you. Then there's Katie so funny but very attentive i adore this ACE pub from the traditional decor to the warm staff not to mention the entertainment and Awsome music it has everything you need for that fab night out. Give this place a try you'll be glad you did Jacqui”
“Friendly staff and great atmosphere, pool and slot machines, sports tv”
“Excellent local pub, real fire, great choice of beers”
“Great friendly people, but i feel there is discrimination against disabled people, certain tables should be for the disabled that have walking difficulty and wheelchair bound people, I know its first come first served with seating, but a little understanding for their disabled customers with walking problems should be looked at.”
“Had a fantastic night last night at the ozone club the owners were lovely, we have been camping in Withernsea for a week and couldnt find anywhere that was kid friendly not even the club on the caravan site down road the duck and rabbit were family friendly (had to sit in backroom with kids) and dogs weren't welcome. The ozone club welcomed us all, my daughter plucked up the courage to do karaoke for first time. (Proud dad moment) we all just wished we'd found the place earlier as it's a great family venue with regular acts and games nights and unfortunately were at the end of holiday but we will certainly be returning next year. Hopefully we get a bingo night in this time.”
