We all have the hallumi cheese starter which was great, I had the chicken roast dinner which was lovely, my wife had the steak pie which she really enjoyed. We also had a pudding which was also lovely Overall the service was good, the food was excellent and the price was good. Friendly happy staff, decent food and a lovely atmosphere”

“We stayed a night after picking up a camper van. (Hence no stars for rooms - it's not applicable). The facilities are great - spacious shower cubicles and nice hot water! The site has good space between pitches and they have a black chicken who guards reception and 3 turkeys who are free ranging across the site. There are moorhens around the pond and the site is in a country location. The warden was really helpful. He lent us a kettle as we had no gas and was great, with advice and offers of help. A BIG thank you to him. Also we chatted with another staff member who was really nice and very friendly. Take aways can be delivered (we needed one as we had no gas!) - we had Indian but I believe there was also Chinese and Kebabs available. We enjoyed our meal & ate in the bar where there is TV. Shame we were only there for the night”

“We've been here a few times now and really enjoy eating here the Steak & Ale pie is absolutely delicious, we met one of the owners today and have to say what a lovely lady she is and you can tell she really cares about this place and making sure everything is how it should be, it seems to me its more the a business to them and that makes the difference to other places I would recommend eating here even if you have to wait for a table then I would have a drink and wait for a table or ring in advance and book one you won't regret it! Can not comment on the rooms but after meeting Mary I'd say that they'd be lovely.”

“First visit today on our way back home, lovely welcome excellent beer and the food was brilliant. Would definitely recommend the beef in beer pie, the veg selection was excellent and the Bakewell tart for dessert with ice cream was superb, five stars thank you.”

“My family and I have been going to Figaro since it opened and even when it was La Scala back in the day. You really cannot fault the staff or food they are fantastic. There are some foods I have never tasted better anywhere else, their steaks, prawns, tomato garlic breads and since last night, their tiramisu. Their pornstar martinis and liquor coffees are also top tier!! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed! Booking in again in a few days time for my Birthday, because they’re just too good! :)”

“There was a welcoming Atmosphere when we arrived. We were welcomed by the staff immediately when doors opened. The pub had a pleasant and warm environment. The food was excellent with generous portions.. We didn’t stay at the accommodation but would have gladly stayed as it is near a number of popular venues. There is a large carpark and free of charge.”

“Food was delicious, chilli con carne had a bit of heat and very filling. Only slight downside was a very rowdy group on a pub crawl, but one of the bar staff apologised and said they would not be staying long. Otherwise, a very cosy pub, great food and atmosphere”

“Dropped in at short notice with a party of 5 on a Tuesday night. The waitress quickly found us a table. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. A variety of dishes and courses were ordered. Empty plates and happy customers all round. Highly recommended.”

“Well what can I say, this pub is not very large but what an atmosphere all the staff very friendly and last night as the Roadie for VIP Suite, got to say dam what a crowd last night and Pete what a host you were for the band, myself and band will see you again and I thinks I may camp their for a couple nights.
