The food consistently arrives hot, fresh, and well-prepared, especially the pizzas and sides, which are always full of flavour. What really stands out, though, is the staff. Whether I’m calling in, picking up in-store, or getting a delivery, they’re always friendly, professional, and quick to help with any questions or adjustments. It genuinely feels like you’re being looked after by people who care, not just a big chain. Tasty food and great service, can’t ask for more!”

“Came from down south and have been looking for a chicken place similar to the ones we have there. I swear Yankee’s is it! Their chicken, burgers, and meal sets are literally the best you’ll ever get in Hull. The price is also great, sending me right back to 2015 - those were the bloody good old days. I almost cried when I first tasted it too. Spent 3 years looking for a good halal chicken spot, and it was right next to me the entire time! Love Yankee Chicken!!!”

“If I could give more stars I would was my son birthday yesterday and he wanted a pizza party we order 15 pizzas and 15 chips we booked it in 2 days before the staff couldn't be anymore helpful as u k ow child can be fussy so we created some off the pizzas ourselfs booked it in for 5.30 came at 5.30 all hot and really good quality pizzas we got the off 3 chips with 3 pizzas which I thinking is amazing deal x5 for the price and the quality off the food is amazing I'll definitely be recommending to family and friends the staff Sat with me and went through everything I wanted amazing customer service great quality food and on time thank you”

“I went for a quiet meal with two friends and my partner for my birthday. Lovely surroundings, lovely view and very hospitable host and staff. Prompt service. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent choice of food all beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent value and I was given a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. I would definitely recommend. The future looks good for Mr Chu and his restaurant. Lots of plans ahead for his restaurant.”

“My first time here, hope it's not my last. There was quite a long queue at the bar/till but it soon went down. Very reasonable at £13 per adult. No frills restaurant, with basic table and chairs but the place was buzzing, always a good sign. We were shown to our table for 2 with a nice view of the lake with ducks and swans. There was a myriad of tasty looking food on the servery, which has 2 sides, also sweets. I ended up going up twice to tty almost a dish from each side. After 2 plates, I was so full up. I couldn't fault it, all the dishes I tried (about 90%) were very tasty and delicious. Highly recommended whilst you're in Cleggy!”

I wasn’t sure what to order as I don’t often go to Starbucks and they gave me plenty of suggestions and was super helpful with me and even added syrups into my drink to see if I preferred it and i definitely did! They even wrote a cute little message on the pup cup for my dog!”

“Great restaurant and bar. Good meeting place and great for a family night out or celebration. Food is good for a steakhouse, with regular vouchers available making it reasonably inexpensive. Friendly service and quite a good atmosphere, no loud music blaring out. Tables, chairs, carpets and decor are a little outdated. Staff are attentive and friendly, no long waits for food. But reasonably impressed and will visit regularly”

“Really enjoyed over visit here for a quick bite. The food was warm, colourful, arrived quickly and tasted great. They even put something together which wasn't on the menu to cater to gluten free. Recommend the mushroom quesadilla!”

“Excellent concept, students learning restaurant management, service and preparing food in a real restaurant setting to paying public. Absolutely lovely meal with a licensed bar and the atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed, we felt unrushed and service was fantastic. Young students aged between around 16 - 20 managed the whole experience under supervision of a front of house college tutor who remained low key and let the students experience all aspects of a restaurant service but stepped in when needed. The menu and introduction encourages customers to treat this as a full learning experience for students and to be varied and realistic with our requests..to test their experience and knowledge. It was French night when we dined and we enjoyed every course, coffee a bottle of wine and petis fours. Absolutely full to bursting with great quality authentic French meals. We are booked in for a future Italian and Indian evening and very much looking forward to returning. A lovely evening and highly recommended”
