“First visit on Saturday 6th May 2023. Management and staff were amazing. Clean and welcoming environment. Huge outdoor space for families / parties etc. Locals are a great bunch of people. Beer is spot on and karaoke night was so much fun. Highly recommended.”

“On Saturday 13th September we will had our wedding reception at di Bosco. Katie sorted everything out for us very professionally from start to finish. “Great place. Love the fact that it has an outside seating area in the town centre. Prices are very reasonable and they have lots of different events and acts to keep everyone entertained. The quiz night is great fun. Well worth a look”

“We've just had our painters meeting AGM today. We all had a meal, and the food was super. Steak and ale pie with chips and peas was excellent. The service was first class, and the staff are wonderful. We go every month. It's a lovely pub.”

“Tried this for the first time and omg it is fantastic quick service but you can taste how fresh their food is, burgers are phenomenal albeit a little bit peppery on a couple of bites, fantastic staff and I will definitely be going again.”

“Where do I start. Visited the sun pub for early dinner booked table online. After entering and been greeted by a friendly chap behind the bar was directed to our table which had my name on reserved. We ordered starters and a main food came out quickly and was absolutely great. We will definitely be returning to this pub for breakfast and Sunday lunches. The staff are all great and very attentive to customers. We didn't know until visit it's dog friendly aswell but we left the pup home . If you're hungry and in the area don't drive passed this brilliant pub.”

“Landlord always welcoming and pleasant. Fantastic local pub and lovely home cooked food. Huge beer garden with plenty of space for kids to play on slide and climbing frames as well as enough room for football with kiddies. Staff always helpful and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere and the Woodfest on bank Holidays are a must!!”

“My daughter had her 5th birthday party here and it couldn’t have gone any better. All the kids enjoyed their food & ice-cream. Everything was setup on me arriving & the staff (Sophie & Becky) were lovely people and very professional. Would highly recommend.”

“The home made chips are back!! I can honestly say they have definitely been worth the wait! My Daughter also highly rates the chocolate fudge cake. Can’t wait to sample the rest of the new home made menu. Michael & Amber & the rest of the staff are absolutely wonderful and always greet you with a warm & welcoming smile. They’ve worked so hard to try and get this pub back to its best and I really hope it pays off for them. The transformation inside is amazing, so light & bright and the bar looks fantastic. Safe to say we will be regular visitors!”

“Had an amazing time in their side function room; the decor was amazing, old pub style with beer barrels and jazz paraphernalia. Was really cool. The pub side was super friendly with plenty of locals and nice cheap drinks that were actually good. Amazed they had Black Sheep Square on tap. Super great place.”

“I visit regular and have always enjoyed my visit. Food is always bang on, service is always fast and polite. Ordering on the app makes it really convenient. Clean inside and out, lovely surroundings and plenty for the kids. Thanks to all the staff for making our weekly visit enjoyable for all the family.”

“Food You can't really beat the breakfast here as its a Premier Inn breakfast, so an all you can eat buffet. The kids, Mrs and myself love it. The only things I would alter is the bacon cooking a bit longer and adding chopped tomatoes, but for the price I won't complain about it. As with all the Premier Breakfasts you get the hot food, cereal, toast, jams, spreads, refils on tea and coffee. Like I said for the price its bang on. Service Each time ee have been here the table service is quick. The staff always make sure your table is free of plates so you can keep topping up the hole your trying to fill. Usually you can pay after your food but we always pay before. We have never had to have staff fix, alter anything while we have visited. Atmosphere Your typical Premier Inn restaurant style place, clean and tidy and kid friendly. Perfect for families or for business trips even if your on your own you cant really knock it.”

“We went for the first time for my mums birthday. I booked a reservation online and told them it was her birthday asked if they could do something special if possible. Also made them aware that some members of the group were anxious and would prefer somewhere quieter. They went above and beyond our expectations! Plus their food is amazing! Will 100% be coming back. “Karaoke Fridays in this place are ABSOLUTLEY amazing, great atmosphere and fabulous entertainment! Came in today (Sunday) for a roast and this was AMAZING! The beef was so tender and tasty, highly recommend!”

“We had a lovely lunch which was very nicely cooked and brought to our table with no waiting time even though the pub was busy. The staff are helpful and cheerful. A section of the pub is dog friendly and they even have a dog menu which our dog took advantage of and enjoyed a sausage served in a little dog bowl.”
