“Walked in just after it opened Waiter came quickly and sat us down and asked how we were. She recommended some dishes. Very knowledgeable staff. She was called SUMI. She knows her stuff. Very intelligent welcoming woman. We ordered the Korean with egg fried rice. Chicken dumplings. Malaysian butter chicken, Black pepper beef noodles, volcano sushi. Now let me tell you about the Malaysian butter chicken dolloped ontop of a crispy baby paratha. This was next level, would come back just for this. Volcano Sushi was genuinely really nice and crispy, easy on thr tongue. All in all, this place is legit, and defo recommended for people who want a different taste to your usual burger and pizza. Blue lagoon was spot on. Not too sweet. It was perfect”

“One of my favourite Thai places in York. The food here is absolutely delicious and great as a dine in or takeaway option. The gluten free options are clearly labelled on the menu with quite a few different dishes being gf. The only thing to note is that when I said I was a coeliac, I was told the gf labelled fish cakes wouldn't be suitable due to cooking methods creating cross contamination. While it is really good that the staff are so well trained in dietary requirements and were able to tell me this clearly to prevent me from getting poorly, it is a shame that something labelled gluten free on the menu wasn't ultimately suitable for coeliacs. They instead advised a different gluten free starter which ended being fantastic.”

“Not the cheapest Chinese but then it was quality that i wanted. I had beef with green peppers & blackbean sauce, the beef was really tender & was overall delicious. I thought it rather strange that they are not on any of the online food ordering sites & they do not do delivery but i now understand that they do not need to rely on foodie sites when the food is so good & if it is so good - it's worth going out to collect.!!!”

“Loved the vibe of this place and the cool tiling and general decor/colour scheme. Had a nice mocktail menu and the staff were very attentive, chickened out of trying ramen for the first time but enjoyed the cauliflower rice bowl instead - very generous portions also!”

“Today we ordered for the first time from this store, as we received a leaflet (btw the leaflet prices were cheaper than the prices online, probably outdated). Egg fried rice = Good! Would love to have some fine chopped creen onions on top just for the looks Spring rolls = Good! We ordered online via their website. The food was great overall. Good taste,nothing stale and well cooked. Noodle box = amazing Special noodles with OK sauce =amazing King prawns with oyster sauce = mid chow mein with beef and chicken = amazing BUT a bit spicy which was not noted in the menu, i guess a tad too much pepper for my taste. Will order again. Keep up the good quality.”

“I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. I tried the sweet and sour and the chicken spring rolls both dishes were packed with authentic taste and just the right balance of spice. You can really tell the chefs put so much care and passion into every plate. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything spot on: quality food, great service, and a lovely ambience. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend this gem if you love authentic Thai cuisine! Great staff team. Will be back.”

“Visited on a lunchtime a couple of weeks ago. Not been here for a number of years and the place is even better than i remember. I was assisted by the landlady to get the wheelchair in. Once in the place was easy to navigate. Drinks including real ales are really well kept and reasonably priced and the food is amazing. I had a liver and bacon dish with a thick onion gravy with steamed vegetables which looked and tasted beautiful. Unfortunately no room for a dessert. Very tasteful Xmad decorations and great staff make this a must return to place Returned this week and had a great meal. Homemade lasagne, salad and garlic bread. Amazing and very filling.”

“My first visit to this Chinese restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Over 200 items on the menu. I ordered the mock chicken Thai green curry with boiled rice. It was delicious. Generous portion size and the kind of fresh spice zing that a good green curry has. The mock chicken was succulent. Friendly service and the food came very quickly. To top things off, you can pick up a solar powered lucky cat.”
