“All food we ordered were delicious. The lamb curry Nihari and chicken Karahi with pilau rice were all spot on in taste and hotness. We ordered 3 milkshakes of different flavours and a mojito and they were well mixed, well tried recipe. The price was of good value, very quiet on Sat 4pm for weary travellers like us. The place is certifield halal in monthly basis by HMC so that provides well assurance. We were attended nicely by staff, but parking was tricky, must find one on sideroad, but I definitely will comeback next time in Leics”

“I usually get my takeaway every week. This is one of the best place to get good grill food on reasonable price. Have been eating for over a year, there is no compromise on quality and always received quality service and food. Do try their Lamb or Chicken Kuzi! I prefer takeaway, but there are around four tables where you could sit and eat. This is a place where you could eat food daily.”

“This place is 5 stars all the way! First, thank you for being open for collection or delivery during these difficult times! Second, I like the thought put into the 1-way in and out of the pub to pay in one place, go to the back to get your food and exit out the back car park. Lots of good signs to keep 2m apart. Good use of gloves and all of that. But now onto the food! We've only had DBA and a place in BA to compare for Chinese food. This was hands down the best. By a mile. I'm talking overall quality, value and variety. Good amount of protein and veg. Great sauces. We order 4 meals and a spring roll. All were excellent. Happy we finally found our Chinese take-out. We'll definitely return! Again, thank you all for working hard during this tough time. But thank you more for making some really great food!”

“Typical take away environment with seating for around 20 people, furniture a little tired but cleanliness at a high standard.The service was very efficient and friendly. The food well cooked, tasty and presented well. We asked for small changes to the menus which was absolutely no problem. Would recommend it anytime. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. “Tasty Kerala dishes. Ordered several dishes and all are delicious and come with good quantity. Price are very affordable for all foods that ordered. Atmosphere is good as this restaurant is in basement and some issues with mouldy smell from carpet due to rain water. But they are maintaining well to clear it. Very friendly and hardworking staff.”

“Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is centrally located, making it super convenient to explore the city. It’s just a short walk from City Centre, Curve Theatre, Athena, and King Power Stadium, which was a big plus. The food was fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety. “Visited Bobbys Deli and was blown away from start to finish. I had their special dosa and it was honestly amazing — perfectly crisp, beautifully filled, and full of flavour. The okra masala was spot on too, cooked to perfection with just the right spices. But the real star? The masala chai. Hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. The service was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to be super friendly and genuinely helpful, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. A brilliant place all round — highly recommended!”

“This is the best African food spot in Leicester. I often order online but today I came in and had the jollof, spicy fish and plantain, it was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. Usually I get the pounded yam and okra or others and it’s perfect. Glad I tried something new today. 10/10 recommend, feels like home”

“Went last night for my sons birthday, 6 adults and 2 children and had the most wonderful time. The service was excellent, all food was delicious, piping hot and all came at the same time. Everybody commented that one of the nicest curries they'd ever had. The children's chicken nuggets meals were presented lovely. There is also a good selection of beers and wines, all very nice. I would say that if you don't give Dipali a try you are definitely missing out. Can't wait to go back.”

“Excellent quality of food and generous portion of food is served. Beautiful interior and comfortable seating. There is a great variety of food to give yourself a treat to a hearty South Indian food. I would definitely recommend masala dosa and idli. Paneer Shashlik is a masterpiece of flavour and texture and an absolute treat for the tastebuds. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Moreover i would also recommend chicken noodles which was delicious.”

As a person who comes from a south asian background I do not tend to go out to have Indian cuisine as we often have it at home, so I tend to be quite unsatisfied with Indian takeaways as they all just taste the same as everywhere else. However this place here, after every meal I’m more eager for the next occasion. The chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan are to DIE for! The lamb tawa was bursting with flavours and so was the garlic chilli chicken packed a real punch. Everything I’ve had from here so far has been nothing short of extraordinary. I’ll be back here, again and again to try out everything else Anika Balti has to offer.”

“I was in this hotel for 2 nights and my experience is okey. Our room was clean , beds comfortable and everything was there which we needed.Staff polite and helpful.A lot of space to sit in the restaurant . Good choice of healthy food in the bar. Happy to book again in this hotel .”

“Hotel room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities available such as in room iron and full-size ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi in room and public areas. Food was of a very good standard with the included breakfast as I had dinner elsewhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only issue is the location is a long way from the city centre meaning taxi service is expensive to use and buses are at least 15 min walk which with luggage could be an issue.”
