“Just has my sons 4th birthday party in the soft play room and it was a lovely experience. They really take all the work and stress that cam go into organising a childs party away. The lady who set up the room/ food was wonderful, as were all the staff, so much so two other mums who attended booked partys for their children while they were there. I would highly recomend !!”

“The hotel was very nice, reception were friendly and informative. The bar area was a nice space, cocktails were really good as were the fresh coffees, the staff were friendly whilst professional at all times. Breakfast was very good too, constantly topped up with fresh food, decent variety of food on offer. The whole team throughout the hotel work extremely efficiently. You can often judge a place by their reaction when things go wrong and there was a very difficult intoxicated man in the bar area on Friday evening. The staff worked swiftly, professionally & effectively in removing him without disruption to other guests.”

“We bring our grandchildren here for swimming lessons. They are both doing well. All the staff are great. The seating area is open again now, bit changing rooms are just for when you leave. The vending machines with fresh popcorn and various drinks and snacks are still available. The coffee machine sadly hasn't been in operation since this covid mularky took ahold. Plenty of parking spaces. Also a large field at the side where you can go for a walk.”

“All the usual DL amenities, some of the furniture in the club house could do with a tidy-up. Staff very friendly and helpful, helped me with issues regarding their App/Membership Card & my Google Wallet Gym area has plenty of equipment, so no standing around waiting. Indoor courts clean and tidy. Sauna does get busy. Pool is good and a safety guard always in the pool area. I've been used to local council sport centre so cost for DL membership is significantly higher, but, you get what you pay for.”

“Excellent gym. The staff are lovely, and They're always willing to help. Always tidy with excellent, well-kept facilities. If anything breaks, it won't be long before it's repaired. The pool is perfect, and I've never had an issue with hygiene. Changing rooms are regularly maintained as well. Only down side is that it closes early on weekends, which isn't ideal, but apart from that, everything is perfect. Their is plenty of classes and activities for people to take part in. All in all, it's a wonderful community to be a part of and would recommend it to anyone of any age especially if your new to the gym theres plenty of people here to guide you and are willing.”

“I Came for swimming with my daughter because they have a big slide for kids. I think swimming is always free during the half term holidays In lifestyle's for children. Sauna and steam room. Much improved since I used them many moons ago”

“It has been closed for a refurb but it still looks grubby and sad. Apparently they just did the ceiling tiles. Water is a good temperature. I go to the over 50's sessions. 11 am to 12 lunch. Gets a busy crowd but every is calm and gentle no screaming kids to deal with. Just great.”

I visited on a day pass so I can’t comment on the pricing, but I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I would highly recommend this gym.”
