“Came here on a Friday night with my wife and two small kids. Saw the 4.9 stars it received. In a nutshell, it deserves the good ratings it gets! Stepping into Matt and Ann’s restaurant is like being greeted into their own personal home. You can feel the warmth and earnestness in Matt the moment ushers you to your table. Food prepared by Ann is as authentic. She retains her hometown’s take on Tom Yam. Coming from Singapore, we could tell her dishes are different from the usual ones we get back home or in Bangkok. We absolutely loved her Tom Yam Mixed and Pad Thai. A halal kitchen is maintained in the establishment. Rak Thai is a family-runned unit. Just by observing the stream of phone call orders coming in to collect their food, the banter they exchange with Matt and Ann (even while she’s cooking), you can tell that Rak Thai is a gem in the Blackburn community. Matt and Ann truly try their best to accommodate anybody who walks through their doors. We drove all the way from Preston to try Ann’s cooking. We didn’t regret it. We had the best Asian food at Rak Thai during our trip to Lancashire. Most importantly we met the best hosts possible. We will definitely visit them again!”

“Dudes and dolls hosted my daughter’s 7th birthday pamper party and it was absolutely brilliant, she had the best time with all her friends. The venue is amazing and all the staff were so lovely and welcoming! The girls loved being pampered. Thank you so much xx”

“Excellent dumplings! It is a very simple dish but very hard to master to the level found here. They are filled with a lot of mixture and all of them came perfect considering they are all handmade. We have tried multiple variations and all of them were excellent. I kind of regret not trying the special of the day as it sounded more experimental but considering how good the standard ones have been, we’ll have to come again one day. Great service and very nice place to dine it. Bravo!”

“My daughter has just completed a 1-2-1 summer block and the progress she’s made has been incredible. Shes looked forward to every lesson and always leaves with a big smile. We will be booking onto another block to carry on her skills that she’s learnt ❤️”

“Ordered here for lunch. Food was absolutely delicious, quite literally the best food I've had in quite some time. Delivery was quick food was still hot when it arrived, sauces came separately from the main so it wasn't soggy at all. 10/10, would recommend.”

“Food is best in Runcorn - fresh proper cooking. Very flavourful. The soft tacos are amazing, loaded fries and burgers all better than most big city places. Chips are some of best I've had anywhere. Staff are super friendly and food is cooked quick whilst still being top quality. Great atmosphere for drinking and cocktails always nice, good variety of drinks, great atmosphere. Always doing takeout food at the weekend as a treat and food value compared to others in Runcorn”

“Got a Juke Burger at GPO Liverpool and the food was amazing. Last time we were at GPO my wife got a burger and I was sooo jealous that this time there was nowhere else I was going. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when asked about allergens and really helpful. Good range of items on the menu. Wife had the Cluck Norris and I had the Brooklyn and they were both amazing and cooked perfectly. Had Cajun Fries which were crisp and perfectly cooked. Deffo would be my first choice when we go back to GPO!!”

“Fantastic venue for a children's party. Huge floor space for dancing, games, roller skating and plenty of seating with tables. There is a stage for an entertainer/band and disco lighting. The toilets are clean and accessible for all. A really great place for kids to run around safely and have fun. Really friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. The hall is also very safe for kids use as all external doors are code operated.”

The live candle in the bathroom was an amazing touch for a pleasant and warm pooping experience, although i was a bit reluctant to pass gas too agressively due to possible explosion hazzard. 5/5”

“Great experience we arrived to find there was a step to enter the property and my partner is a wheelchair user a member of staff was immediately on hand to provide a ramp for access with no fuss, everyone we encountered was friendly and professional the food was excellent and service swift can not fault it at all”
